I have been seeing dr Luis Alvarez and Juan or either alex since 2006 when i had my black german shepherd shadow back in the other office in bird road and 72.In other occasions, i have seen dr Maria alvarez when doctor Luis Alvarez is not there and Juan or either Alex for many years and i must say that i trust them cause not only they all are really professionals and caring to my pets needs but their knowledge as veterinarian and in this field is amazing.One of my cats peluza almost die and doctor maria alvarez saved her life treating her in 3 different approaches since some of the tests done were abnormal and she made it.When it comes to dr luis alvarez ,he is my veterinarian of records and he is also super knowledgeable and caring as well.One time one of my cats had to go another office since unfortunately he started having some symptoms saturday night and they were closed on sunday.At that point after blood test the other doctor concluded that it could be wether an autoimmune disease or fiv when my cat was only indoor and did not know which one since all the blood test were elevated and even after 2 days of an inconclusive diagnose by the other doctor,i called dr alvarez to take him to take to him as soon as they opened and all it needed was a simple xray with the lab results and another blood test to conclude that my cat had cancer in his lungs.Alex or Juan is really humble and super caring.I have nothing but good things to say about them.i am glad to hear that juan has been assigned to manager.He has always been by dr alvarez side and he is really knowledgeable and he is super attentive.And he will make sure things are under control since with so many years of experience he can make a difference .I work in a dental office and it makes a difference when your manager is involved,things work better. if u do your job correctly ,there is no problems having a manager at the office.Even today i had an emergency and as soon as i called that i was on my way i got to be seen as soon as i got in.People have to understand that in any office there is sometimes a waiting time and unfortunately there are financial responsibility for pet owners but even in the human world we all have to wait for our own doctors and we have copays.But in all these years of care with them,i have never heard of a 2 hours waiting time even at their most busy day nor them no finding a way to help their clients to afford tx in some ways or another. I highly recommend doctor alvarez,his wife maria alvarez and juan or alex.they staff is super friendly .Their knowledge and skills are way beyond any expectations . They are trustworthy and honest people.

Worst experience ever!! Ive been going to this clinic for the longest time and its such a shame how things have changed. They use to have such a great staff, where it seemed like they actually cared about your animal. I took my dog about a week ago and my experience first started out with having to wait in the lobby for two hours just to be put in an exam room. From here the Doctor came in looked at my dog and said she would have an estimate made for me. The technician finally came back in and presented a very high estimate which I could not afford. I proceeded to ask him what my other options were and to my surprise his response was "Listen this is your only option, either you have the money and we continue or dont come in if you dont plan on spending the money, its as simple as that". I was so shocked. I immediately declined all services because it seemed as if he was much more concerned about taking my money than my pets health. Worst part is when I left, I called back and asked to speak to the Doctor or Office manager and to my disgust the girl said Doctor Alvarez was unavailable and the technician I had dealt with in the room was the Office manager. Not sure how this individual could be the manager when he has no people skills and is beyond rude. I will never go back there after how he made me feel.

My dog had eaten some Christmas confetti that she snuck and got out of my closet. She was in so much pain the next day and I can see the confetti hanging from her butt with bloody diarrhea. I took her to an emergency clinic that was open at the time. They did X-rays and told me that they needed to do emergency surgery or my dog would die and it was estimated $3000! I didnt know what to do. I called a friend that referred me to this clinic where I was able to bring my dog first thing in the morning. When I walked in the clinic, I love how they greeted Dulce and made her feel happy even while she was in pain. They took X-rays and seen what was going on. I told them I dont have much but I want to save my dogs life. Dr. Alvarez saved my dogs life and my pocket. Treatment was only a fraction of what that other clinic tried to charge me. They even sent me home with a lot of goodies. I was so happy that they brought life back to my dog and I cant thank them enough. If you are looking for a clinic that is reasonable and trustworthy, they are the BEST! I live in broward and would drive there anytime because their service and passion for what they do is great!

I came on here to write a review for country walk because since I came to them a few years back with our three dogs, they have been nothing but incredible to my family. I cannot believe the negative posts I just read for one second. We lost one of our dogs lost year and they were so good to us and really showed how much they actually cared about us and not just the money we were providing.Those posts do not seem realistic at all because they are describing people who are nothing like Dr. Alvarez or Alex (manager). If there are any good people left among that staff, its them. Alex and Dr. Alvarez have both helped me tremendously with my sickly bulldog on and off the clock and I dont think I would trust my dogs with anyone but them. Whoever wrote those reviews is obviously lying out of spite or is writing their review on the wrong vets office.

Highly Recommeded Vet!!!! Treated our little girl like a princess! She was not feeling well and had signs of inflammation. From the initial phone call to the actual visit, Country Walk Vet has been amazing and very understanding to our needs. The doctor and staff are amazingly patient! and answers all questions thoroughly! as well as offered us options and recommendations before any procedures were done! Extremely glad to find a vet that truly cares!!! Our doggie says a big thank you!!!

Such a great experience. Took my elderly grandmother so that she could get a check up on her new rescue puppy. All of the employees were so accommodating and patient with her. She was very nervous (her previous dog had recently passed away and was nervous about this ones health), but they were incredibly helpful - sat down with her, explained everything in detail and got rid of all of her doubts. They were very friendly and made us feel right at home. Would definitely recommend.
