To: The Owners and Board of Directors to DCP Veterinary Hospital; First and foremost, I spoke to the receptionist for an appointment, because my RJ Yogie was have in discomfort in his ears after Tuesday grooming. The appointment assistant was extremely accommodating and compassionate in reference to my babys pain. Promptly at 3:00 pm, RJ Yogie was entered screened for the routine exam and the issues that precipitate this painful event for him. Carrell and the veterinary assistance took the routine examination and the ear culture. Dr. Mike is amazing his empathy and knowledge were refreshing. He explained everything and said that the ear discomfort was due to the amount of pulling hairs in the ears and had cause inflammation. He was through and completely gave me reassurances that with the medication and pain pills RJ Yogie would improve withing 24 hours and continue to improve to his normal self nature. I have always had pets and have been a loyal customer to my friend Dr. Perez in Miami, he has been a personal friend for more than forty years and it is extremely difficult to leave, but after meeting Dr. Mike and Carrell, I will more than likely become a part of the family of DCP. These are two amazing professionals with the most important character trait any human being can hope for, and that is true commitment to the welfare of their patients and the patients parents. They provided loving care, honesty and most important ethical and loyalty to the DCP Veterinary Hospital. I am grateful to the owners and Board of Directors, that I assume aspire to inspire such quality of care and loyalty. Please be sure to acknowledge these two most humble and unassuming human beings for the quality of care to my baby boy. These two human beings are am asset to your organization or any organization. DCP is blessed to have these two employees as members of your staff. I will leave my long time friend in Miami, just as long I can be afforded the opportunity for my baby to be taken care of by Dr. Mike and Carrell. Please make sure you put this in their personnel file and acknowledge the excellent care they both provided. Owning a business is very difficult, but the secret of of being successful is hiring not quantity but quality professionals like the two above mentioned. Most appreciative, Estherlilly Sweeting

A year ago, I had found a kitty. I brought him home. A day later, I had noticed that he was having difficulty peeing. I figured it may be a UTI. So, I had called your office to get him seen, hoping that payment would be worked with me, as I did not get paid for another week. I was told that the initial visit would be $50.00 and I had to have that for him to be seen. And when asked if something could be worked out, I was told "no". I mean, I would have the money in a week. So, feeling even more worried and dejected, I ended up looking online for something I could do in the meantime. I did find something that helped. Apple Cider Vinegar. And it worked. I had no choice as I did not want him to get worse. Within a couple of days, he was doing better. Alot better. I apologize that I did not have money at the time for the visit. However, my word is good. And I would have signed anything that was needed to have him seen. At that time, yes, I do feel as if your office deems money is more important than an emergency. And to me, and the kitty I found and who is doing fabulous now, it was an emergency. I know that there are expenses. However, I was not going to pay. I just did not have money at that time. At least not until one week later. Thank you for your time.

It was simply put...amazing. I was not one of their "patients." My own vet was unable to see us and my dog was very ill. I asked for a referral to another vet and was given DPC. I called and was seen about 5 hours later. We went in immediately...actually they were still making copies of her history when we were led in. The vet gave me a very quick hello and eye contact then went over to my dog, called her name and gently picked her up. She then had a conversation with my beloved dog asking her to explain why she was not feeling well. This went on for several minutes and then the vet gently placed my dog on the examination table to examine her. The vet asked me a couple of questions and then shared her opinion of what the ailment was. She was with us for I am guessing 30 minutes or longer. We waited in the examination room while they analyzed the bloodwork and fecal sample. Fortunately, my pet had a temporary ailment that was very scarey for both her and me. Of course we had to pay, but I felt the payment was relatively fair given the time, tests and love that this vet demonstrated towards us. It was so good that I will be returning to them and not to my previous Vet from now on.

This place is very inconsiderate and all about the money!!!! My dog became very ill and we took him in. They told us he had a UTI and we decided to get him neutered as well. They told us one price and then the day of surgery, jacked up the price to almost three times from what we were told!!!!!!! At that point, we had really no choice but the pay for it. AFTER all that, my dog actually got worse!!!! We took him in again (and they charged $35 to see him go figure) and said that he was fine, which we told him he wasnt. We described what was going on and they said to take him off the meds. We did and he seems ok for now but he still had the UTI!!! After all the back and forth with them....you know what they had the nerve to tell me....there is nothing further we can do for your dog....take him to the animal hospital and see a neurologist for your dog since it sounds like a neurologial problem with the meds. REALLY!!!!!!! Please, PLEASE stay away from this place....i dont want anyone else to go through the suffering I have gone through. They took our money, didnt help our dog, and pushed us off to other vet.

Four stars because there is always room for improvement. I would and constantly do recommend DPC to all of my friends and family. Im in a habit of taking animals that I do not have time to care for and DPC has turned each feral that Ive brought them in to an adoptable beauty. The one they could not save, they worked so hard on, stitching his injuries and making sure he was sustainable, only to find out that he was FIV positive. Unfortunately, we made a tough decision, but not before the doctor brought me in to the room to discuss all of the options we would have. When I brought Oliver in, he was crawling with worms, and was lacking his necessary vaccines and tests for a clean bill of health. They worked with me on prioritizing my treatments so that I could stay within budgets, and put up with my incessant phone calls the day he went in for surgery. Not only did I pick up Oliver- who didnt need a cone!- the same day, but his wounds had healed within a week and they called to check on him twice! Thank you DPC!! We love you!
