Im extremely pleased with the care and attention my pet (and I) get at Veterinary Vision. Dr. Vernot particularly understands why my dogs breed tends to have eye problems and responds in accordance with that situation. She is not only extremely knowledgeable about the sort of problems my dog can, might and does have, but shes tender and compassionate to the dog herself, fully understanding what sort of responses a dog can have to people fussing about in their eyes. Anyone who treats my dog lovingly and kindly will have a hard time failing in my life, I must admit, but beyond the subjective end of things, I believe that Daisy Mae is getting first rate care from professionals who take their job seriously. She may not know it, but Dr. Vernot somehow talked me down from a state of serious panic over my dogs situation, down to where its something one copes with. She keeps me informed about the improvements my dog makes as she continues in treatment, and does her best to keep my girl calm and mellow in the office. What, really, could one ask beyond that?

I absolutely would recommend everyone and anyone to go here. Dr. Vernot is one of the, if not THE best, Doctor I have ever encountered. I was a nervous wreck when I went in for my babys glaucoma (he is only 1 and a half) and she made me feel so much better. Even though we eventually lost the battle in one of his eyes, she did everything in her power to prevent it. And she continues to do so that the same thing doesnt happen in the other eye. She has done everything she could to help him adjust. She loves animals, you can tell by her entire demeanor. The staff is wonderful and so understanding. I have seen them stay late on numerous occasions to help one of their patients. They have adjusted their schedules, worked through their lunch hours, and have literally made so many exceptions in order to help me personally. I will forever be appreciative of all they have done for my boy, and all they will do in the future.

Dr. Vernot did surgery on my cat a few years ago. He had an ulcer on his eye that ruptured. She was able to save his eye so he wouldnt be blind. When he was a kitten he lost an eye for the same reason. She is talented and kind and did amazing work on my cat. She also worked with me on the expenses, which was a blessing because I didnt have much money at the time. I would definitely recommend her to everyone! I thank her for saving my kitties vision and allowing him to have a happy normal life.

Not only is Dr. Vernon amazing but also her Staff!!! My dog is a little terror when it comes to ANY vet visit. Its a little hard to try and blindside him when someone is trying to look at his eyes. They do an amazing job keeping him as calm as possible, and happy. Additionally, I live in Chicago and make the drive because she is so fantastic! Her prices are also amazing. Vets are always expensive but she is by far the best priced visionary vet around!

Dr. Vernot removed my 14 year old cats eye several years ago. The cat came through the surgery beautifully. Dr. Vernot and her staff were just wonderful - highly professional, as well as very kind. Id never hesitate to recommend her.
