After moving here from Grand Junction, CO, my family and I were looking for a family dentist. I had an implant and vanieers done in GJ and was concerned about finding a dentist that I could trust. I can honestly say that after the first visit with Dr. Chris Harvan, Southland Smiles has earned that trust. Dr. Chris Harvan complemented my smile and said that the dentist in GJ did a great job with the work I have had done. You will not be disapointed with Southland Smiles, from the chairs that massage your back while your getting your teeth cleaned to the outstanding patient care from all the staff to the one on one care you recieve with both Dr. Chris and Dr. Kristina Harvan. On my recent visit, Dr. Kristina took pictures of my teeth and showed me some areas of concern on the giant flat screen monitor while I was sitting on a recliner that massaged my back! Outstanding care and an amazing job! Oh and they accept and can help with financing with Care Credit.

I moved away and still drive an hour and a half to see Dr. Chris! I would highly recommend this dentistry to anyone looking. I had a previous horrible experience with a dentist and went to the "darkside" of keeping up with going to any Dentist. After years of neglecting the "dreaded" visit, I found Southland Smiles. Thank goodness I did. Needless to say...Dr. Chris Harvan turned my whole experience around a 180 degrees and gave me my confidence back. He was patient with my fears, listened attentively to my insecurities, while helping me become better with my dental routine, without judgement. He changed my entire idealogy and now I actually enjoy going to the dentist. Never thought I would say that. All of the staff here are amazing, professional, courteous and excellent at what they do. What a great team there at Southlands. I am so fortunate I found them when I did.

Being a person who suffers from "dentistaphobia", I cant speak highly enough about Drs. Chris and Kristina Harvan. They are both caring and attentive, always demonstrate the highest level of professionalism, and provide superior services at very reasonable rates (nearly all of our procedures have been covered by insurance). My wife and our three children also go to Southland Smiles and none of us have ever had anything close to an unpleasant experience. From basic cleanings to more complex procedures, everything has been top-notch. Simply put, they are the best dentists we have ever found - by far. Also up front, Michelle and Karen are always warm and friendly and go above and beyond to accommodate last minute schedule changes. I absolutely recommend Southland Smiles to anyone looking for the best dental provider in the area - and beyond!

I met Drs. Chris and Kristina Harvan about three years ago when my teeth were a mess. Both of these professionals treated me with the greatest care. I cannot say enough for their conscientious efforts to address my complicated dental problems. Each step necessary was explained to me in detail, and I was encouraged to ask questions as we went along. It is not normal for a person to feel at ease when visiting the dentist, I know; however, both Dr. Chris and Dr. Kristina made me feel valued and safe as a patient. Incidentally, the work I had done was recently completed, and it looks and feels wonderful. I am so pleased and grateful. By the way, I want to commend the entire staff at Southland Smiles for their friendly and supportive interactions with me. They made me feel welcome and helped make the experience pleasant.

Southland Smiles is the best dentist I have ever been to, and that is saying a lot. When I was younger I always hated the dentist, it scared me. But Dr. Kristina and the amazing staff at Southland Smiles made me feel right at home. I was never nervous and they always completely explained everything to me which was amazing because no dentist ever had before. Southland Smiles is also extremely convenient, only two minutes from my house!! They are an amazing team, they have finally made me excited for the dentist and keeping my teeth clean. And I actually trust them when they tell me to brush more or floss more, because they take the time to explain what might happen if I dont and show me all the warning signs to inflammation or infection. They are an amazing and friendly bunch! So glad to call them my dentists!

Dr. Kristina Harvan is fantastic. The hygienist Michele was gentle and eased my nerves. As most, I get very nervous when I need to go to the dentist. So, nervous I hadnt gone to the dentist in over 3 years after a bad experience. My dental visit at Southland Smiles was the most pleasant experience I had ever had at a dentist office. The entire staff is wonderful! I also have a special situation and Dr. Kristina Harvan made sure I got the care I needed without risking my situation. I also had to be referred to a specialist due to a gum problem Id been having and she made sure to choose a specialist that would also be understanding of my situation. The service I received was top quality, and the personal care and attention was beyond wonderful. I will actually not mind going to the dentist every 6 months!

I have been going to Southland Smiles for about 5 years now and have never felt more comfortable at any dentists office. Dr. Kristina Harvan inspires confidence and has a very personable and caring manner about her that puts me at ease, despite the fact that I am always apprehensive due to past bad experiences with other dentists. The entire staff is professional and still manages to create an almost family-like atmosphere around the office. My hygienist is gentle and makes allowances for the fact that my teeth, at times, can be sensitive, making the cleaning procedure difficult.. Overall, I have never had better experiences at any dentists office, and I have been to many different ones due to frequent moves in the past 35 years! Great job guys, please dont change a thing!

I love this place! For years i have dreaded going to the dentist and avoided it at all costs. I would go years without going and then when i would go, i would have several problems which would make me hate it more and avoid it more. My sister recommended Dr. Kristina Harvan so i decided to go. First thing i noticed at the appointment was how on point and efficent and friendly the receptionist was. I didnt have to wait for my appointment. While i had several issues the first time i went, Dr. Harvan was so attentive and caring. She never once scolded me and explained the issues with detail. Every visit since then has been pleasant. The hygenists are equally as knowledgeable and nice. I would recomment Southland Smiles to anyone! They are amazing!

A visit to the dentist is not on the top of my list of favorite things to do. As a matter of fact going to the dentist always left me feeling anxious and frightened. However, with some gentle persuasion...Dr. Kristina Harvan and the staff @ Southland Smiles left a once hesitant patient now with an overwhelming feeling of gratitude and a smile Im no longer self-conscious about. Being a dentist is a complicated job; not only are they working on one of the most sensitive areas of a patient, it takes a great amount of skill and charisma to make a patient feel comfortable and at ease. The only way I can think of to show my appreciation is by giving the gift of thanks and KUDOS to Dr. Kristina and her professional staff @ Southland Smiles.
