I went here for a routine check up back in early December 2012. Ive never had dental problems before, just braces and a couple of fillings when I was a kid. Being 25 years old, I was shocked to hear that I needed a pretty serious root canal and crown. Being the trooper I am, I scheduled the necessary appointments as soon as available. The procedure was VERY PAINFUL and I was WINCING for the majority of the procedure. Ive broken my arm and it didnt hurt that much. I was then left, as is normal, in the room alone while they checked on other patients. I was left for a very long time! I overheard them telling two other patient they would need the same procedure I was suffering. A painful jaw and bleeding mouth made me tell them to not replace the old broken filling at this time. The dentist said it was not a big deal, then quickly FORCED the needle into my gums to numb it, telling me it was too late. I went home unable to eat for a week. I lost those extra five pound though! What was supposed to be two visits ended up lasting for two months of back and forth with no regard for my time. My work schedule was jacked up. Oh, oh, oh! And once they even DID NOT NUMB while DRILLING in my poor tooth! "A root canal kills feeling to the tooth, so you wont feel anything." Yeah right! Guess you didnt do it right then. Every time I subsequently went in for more work, there was at least one other person being told they needed a root canal and crown. Long story short on the money side, they had been over charging my insurance and my bank account. They ended up owing me over $800 in overcharge by the end of all this. They said it would not be a problem to refund it to my debit card, just to call in with the number. Well, I called and called and called, left messages, and never got a call back. Funny how that works, eh? I just called my fabulous bank and explained everything and sent them the documentation. That is how I had to get my refund. I just called to get my records and X-rays so the new dentist, who is also fabulous, can fix my still painful mouth. I got attitude and a remark of "I know who YOU are." Duh, Im the person who wouldnt let you steal my money! So, from early December to late March, thats four months of this nonsense! If you value your time, wallet, teeth, health, pride, and serenity, go somewhere else. Trust me, its worth your time to drive the extra miles.

Hey Neighbors! I want to share a recent experience with Falcon Dental-- they just built that nice new white farmhouse-looking office next to the 7-Eleven on Meridian Road. I have a crown which, after 14 years came loose and needed to be cemented back on. I went to Falcon Dental to have it re-cemented. Since it wasnt all the way off, the dentist had to pry it off and said that the crown wouldnt make it through another prying off again so I should beware. Well the crown came loose within a week after!! Let me remind you that my first crown stayed stuck for 14 years before coming loose. Anyway, I waited for the crown to come completely off this time because I remembered what the dentist said about the crown not making it through another pry-off. A new crown is about $1800. It took a few months for the crown to come completely off and I called Falcon Dental to have it re-cemented for a second time. Also, my father was a dentist (a darn good prosthodontist who passed 2 yrs ago), and I know the difference between good dental cement and the cheap stuff that doesnt stick. For the second time around, I specifically asked for the better cement and like magic it stayed stuck!! My father stood by his work and always fixed a problem for free if it went wrong inside of a year. Falcon Dental charged me TWICE for the same service. When I called and asked them to reverse the second charge, they refused. I think this is pretty bad business tactics. I cancelled all future appointments for myself and my family and plan to take my business elsewhere. They shouldnt have scammed the daughter of a dentist who knows better. I want you all to know better too through my experience.

WORST NIGHTMARE FOR YOUR MONEY!!! The care my husband had was good, the doctor was real nice. The billing staff is AWEFUL! They charged our care credit card the entire amount (over 2k) and told my husband they were going to bill our insurance, yet after a few months of waiting on the EOR from the insurance company, I called to find out it was NEVER BILLED. They said, "oh, they paid it, you dont have a balance". I told them to look again, that WE paid it, and she said "oh yea, we will bill it now". THEN it was denied and it took another month. I called again, they re-billed it. Hadnt heard anything, so I called AGAIN. Let me tell you, the woman on the phone was nice, but had to keep putting me on hold to ask someone the questions I was asking. Then when I had to correct her yet again about their billing, my frustration was peaking. They tell you one thing, do something else. They knew what our insurance was and STILL let my husband see the doc that WAS NOT IN NETWORK with that insurance. So frustrated. Do your job, bill correctly and stop over billing the hardworking, paying customer!! My husband needs more work done on his teeth, so they just lost over 10K between the 4 of us, that is for sure. Dont go there. Find someone who knows how to bill so you dont get taken like we did.

I have worked as a hygienist for the Houser brothers for almost 3 years now. Time sure does fly when youre having fun! I love this job, and its the staff and our patients that keep me coming back to work day after day with a smile on my face. Working for doctors who are trustworthy is a huge part of excelling as a hygienist, and the Houser brothers are not only trustworthy, but they truly go above and beyond for our patients. The continuing education this practice invests in our staff is incredible as we are always learning the newest technology and techniques to better serve our patients--Ive grown so much personally and professionally since working here. If youre like most people, the dentist is your worst nightmare, but I would encourage you to come on in and meet the staff or grab a tour of our new office, and I personally guarantee we will put a smile on your face! We love our patients, Im proud to work here. Love you guys!

If you have to go to the dentist--not high on anyones list of fun things--Falcon Dental is great! The staff is very friendly and Dr. Whitney is a terrific dentist. Ive had extensive dental work done and am quite pleased with the results. They also have the "Smile Plan" that gives significant discounts on dental procedures if you dont have dental insurance. They are able to do everything from cleanings to fillings, crowns, bridges, and dentures to implants. They are also active in the community by sponsoring programs such as mouth guards for the school athletes in the fall, food drives, etc. Ive always found everyone there to be very friendly; they seem to really care about their patients while providing excellent dental care. Im so glad they are in Falcon and hope they stay a very long time!
