I went to this dental office for a cleaning. They neglected to tell me my insurance provider was out of network until after services were perfomed (my fault too for not asking). My complaint is that the dentist is not very focused. She looks at incoming customers while working on your mouth. She poked my gums while not paying attention. The x rays are very uncomfortable as well, although I belive it is actually newer technology they are using. Ive been to two highly regarded dentists in my lifetime (Im only 24), and have been please with both. This dentist however, the third Ive seen, is unacceptable. Lack of providing insurance info, unfoucsed dentist, and poor cleaning is unacceptable. I will no longer be using Adams Morgan Family Dentistry. Please consider anohter dentist.

This dentist is awesome! The desk staff was extremely friendly and helpful, and they got me in the next day for an emergency appointment due to pain in my mouth. Their x-ray technology is new, reducing the amount of radiation by something like 80%. The reviewer below said that it was uncomfortable, but what is not uncomfortable at the dentist when someone is poking around in your mouth. I do not agree that the dentist was unfocused. Rather, I found her extremely attentive and also interested in hearing about my past dental history. I was certainly not rushed in and not. Their prices are also extremely reasonable and I did not even have dental insurance. One of the better dentists out there.

I found her thorough, professional and her staff is very pleasant. She really knows her stuff. I am part Native American and have what is known as "spooned" teeth. She was the first dentist Ive ever gone to that knew what it was and didnt try to file them into a different shape. Great location, too!
