I never had to write a review about a facility until now. This place is a disgrace of a so called of a nursing home. FAMILY MEMBERS do not put your family member in this facility EVER. The nurse will not answer the call light even for an emergency and your family member could be in there dead without notice from any one on the HEALTH TEAM. They toss and flip and roll the residents like they are already in body bags and will do as little as they can to shut the resident up. Talking to a Resident told me she hates living here but has nowhere else to go. Think if you saw a new face everyday and they came in your home to treat you like crap and left, nobody could help you? You would feel helpless to. Their is NOT ONE PERSON IN THIS FACILITY THAT CARE ENOUGH ABOUT THE PATIENT TO CHANGE THIS. NEVER WORK HER OR PUT YOUR FAMILY MEMBER IN THIS FACILITY THEY WILL NOT TAKE QUALITY CARE OF THEM. ending up with at least a UTI (urinary tract infection) or fungal/bacterial infection STAFF MEMBERS ALL OF THE STAFF ARE RUDE FROM THE DON, ADON, HR They will be nice to you in your face then talk behind your back on how to get you fired. Want to be all in your personal business and figure out ways for the DON to fire you if they dont like you, or if you do not do things their way. I have heard about this place before I went here and should have listened to how this place is disgusting and no one stays working here because of how staff treat one another. They bully and gang up on people to get them out the door , and if you do not want to listen you will find out the hard way . THIS PLACE NEEDS TO BE CLOSED DOWN FOR GOOD, I HAVE SO MANY STORIES TO TELL ABOUT THIS PLACE MY TWO MONTHS WORKING HERE IT IS CRAZY. IF YOU LOVE YOUR FAMILY MEMBER DONT BRING THEM HERE AND IF YOU WANT TO KEEP YOUR CERTIFICATION DO NOT WORK HERE IT IS A HIGH RISK WORKING AT LEGEND OAKS WEST HEALTHCARE FACILITY THEY ARE HIRING LEFT AND RIGHT BECAUSE NO ONE WILL STAY THERE AND PUT UP WITH THEIR CRAP UNLESS IT IS FOR THE MONEY NOT FOR THE PATIENT....DONT TRUST THE DON , ADON, OR ANY NURSES/ AIDES/ MED AIDES, STAY TO YOUR SELF THEY WILL ATTACK YOU SO WORK AT YOUR OWN RISK.

I thought it would be a great place to work and get some experience ... Nope I was wrong .. at first the DON was nice and everything and I will get good training. No I didnt get good training first of off , I let the DON know whats going on and never responds to my text messages or calls only when its convenient to her , something happened on my shift I had no experience and the other nurse that usually kinda guides me was training someone else and the RN was in rehab was doing her thing ... Which I understood cz it can be hectic. So I did the best that I could on documentng . Well I thought I did great. But no I didnt .... I got suspended for three days .. cz I didnt respond to text message on time for them to speak with me ... Cz work grave yard they dont take it to consideration that you work grave yard and I apologized for responding all late because I was asleep at times when they called me . When the DON talked to me she was putting me down ... I went by today ... Cz ADON wanted to see me and the DON gave me alot of attitude .. so . . I really dont recommend anyone to really work here.... Yes they make it seem all great but its not and I should of listen to past ratings and comments that is on here . If your new and just got your licence .. dont do it .. find another place

This facility is only two years old and still looks new. But...We had our dad there for rehab after he had surgery. His stay was only suppose to be temporary. Their job was to get him walking again and speech therapy because of a trach. He was there not even a week and he was admitted back into the hospital for a minor emergency. We never notified until we went to visit and saw he was gone. Upon our arrival at the hospital we saw that he was tagged by Legend Health Care & Rehab as a DNR (Do Not Resuscitate) patient. That did not make sense as to why. Legend staff had approached us about this earlier in the week and we refused. Apparently sometime while family members were not visiting Legend staff had my dad, who was unable to talk and not 100% himself, sign for a DNR. We asked him about it later and he did not remember. We did not go back to this facility.

Great staff, great administration staff. The building is beautiful, fun and bright. The employees treat the residents like family. Id highly recommend this facility to others.
