From Danielle at the front desk all the way back they treat you like family. When the nurse does you vitals she/he acts like your best freind. Dr.Dan Powell is one of a kind. When you talk to him (and I came here from va. In pretty bad shape) you can tell he is attentive and is very compassionate about your concerns. Since seeing him starting 2 months ago I have gotten my diabetic eye exam Will get my glasses in a few days. Ive got my diabetic shoes being made with one with a special metal brace to try and straighten my right ankle (looks like one of those old polio braces. But for PAC Hernandez Im just getting to know him so post on that later. But if you want a doctors office that shows rhey care front to end, and act like they actually love their job,I would recommend Health Texas Stone Oak Dr Dan Powell. Would trust them with my whole family

It is a Kind and understanding staff. They dont over-book appointments, so you dont need to wait in the waiting room for two hours after your scheduled time to be seen. You get seen at the time of your appointment, and that is very rare to me. Psychiatrists are hard to see in San Antonio, since no one is accepting new patients, I have tried for years with no luck from them, Dr.Powell was willing to prescribed me a generic lexipro, which I have been in need of badly. When I had a horribly venomous spider bite, he was a tremendous help. Every time I have been sick, and was seen by Dr.Powell, I recovered quickly. The staff have gone out of their way to help me, on more than one occasion. From my experiences, customer service has always been spectacular! Thank you very much!

Dan Powell another money maker doctor! I took my son for a physical exam to see Dr Dan Powell just to figure out he is another of many money maker doctor with no interest in the patients. The results came back with 10 values out of normal range, including among others high glucose, potassium, triglycerides, cholesterol and traces of hed had hepatitis A. The doctor repeated the test just to get the same exact results and after the second finding he called by phone just to say everything was ok. and that was the end of the story. So basically he charged my insurance twice for the same test, took his money and left the patient with no plan, no recommendation or medication whatsoever. Another typical doctor in the system ...Thank you Dr. Powell!

My mom was seeing Dr. Ash at the Wurzbach clinic with no problems. When she moved out of state my mom switched to see Dr. Walker to stay with a female doctor. She changed her dosage and conducted other testing without considerate communication or explanation. My mom took issue with this and Dr. Walker had her banned from seeing any other doctor in the clinic. She has never had any problems before and said the staffing has always been respectful and helpful. They agreed she could see Dr. Powell who appears to have great ratings. However at this point her confidence in the practice has wavered.

They claim on their website: "Outstanding Service, Every Patient, Every Time." I was told I need to wait for a month if I want the location closest to my home, or go to one of two other locations which are far, one of them even in another town. Cant believe it! PS. The rating of 3.8 is incorrect. Based on the existing 7 reviews at this point, it should be 2.7.

Husband comes here to see P.A. Powell. Great doctor. Good bedside manner, but the staff is rude. They talk about their patience behind their backs, and once they get off the phone, they roll their eyes at a difficult call. We call get frustrated with people, but do it in private, dont do it in front a waiting patient.

My daughter sees Dr. Powell and absolutely loves it there. The girls at the front desk are professional and very caring! Dr. Powell is such an amazing doctor and his staff was excellent!

Dr Dan Powell is the best! Very polite and doesnt rush you out the door. The PA Dr Hernandez is also great. Staff is friendly and most of the time lab work can be done at the same time.
