very nasty and terrible place to be some of the staff members where nice some of the staff members were very disrespectful they kept me locked up in short term care for 2 weeks and 3 days because of a fight that me and my father got into also because they thought that i had an housing issue and one of the doctors whose name is Dr. Kishnia is a very disrespectful doctor because he thought that i was crazy and that i wasnt well just because i kept repeating and asking the same questions all over again it was so stupid and ridiculous to get furiously angry over he even thought that i wasnt a good listener and he even thinks that i am autistic which that is so not true because I AM NOT AUTISTIC AT ALL and he even uses the term autism spectrum when their is no such thing as a autism spectrum and i am like how many times do i need to keep admitting to people that my one and only diagnoses is a Schizoaffective Disorder and i dont even know why is it so hard for everybody to believe that my one and only diagnoses is a Schizoaffective Disorder but whatever it is its really messed up and that really nasty doctor Dr. Kishnia has even threatened to lock me up in a long term care psychiatric hospital and everytime my father calls this hospital they never put him on the phone with Dr. Kishnia and these people at this hospital are such idiots and if you have serious mental health issues then this is not the place that i would recommend because this is the worst and most nastiest psychiatric hospital that i have ever been to also if i was autistic then i would be really sick and gross and really stupid my brain would be damaged i wouldnt even be able to eat and or talk and i would even be disgusting and i am not that type of person so that means I AM NOT AUTISTIC because my one and only diagnoses is a Schizoaffective Disorder so why is it that not everybody believes that? and so stay away from this psychiatric hospital. hopefully i never come back here or to any psychiatric hospital ever again.

SO FAR I AM NOT SATIFIED WITH THIS MENTAL HEALTH CARE FACILITY.IT SEEMS UPON ARRIVAL,AND AFTER MUCH IN PUT WITH THE STAFF BEFORE I ARRIVED REGARDING THE PATIENT I INTENDED TO VISIT ,THE HEAD DOES NOT TALK TO THE BODY.THIS PLACE IS OPEN AND ONLY CONCERNED WITH STAYING OPEN MORE SO THEN THE IMPROVEMENT AND PROGRESS OF THE MENTAL HEALTH OF AN INDIVIDUAL BEING HOUSED OR TREATED THERE.THE PERSON WHO I WAS VISITING WAS A PATIENT IN AT LEAST 8 OTHER FACILITIES INCLUDING, ON THE HIGH END-CARRIER CLINIC AND PRINCETON HOUSE-ON THE LOW END TURNING POINT IN SEACACUS.THIS PLACE SEEMS TO BE RIGHT UP THERE WITH TURNING POINT. A FAILURE IN ALL WAYS DEEMED TO BE A PROGRESS ORIENTED ESTABLISHMENT GEARED TOWARDS DISCHARGE AND RECOVERY. THEY ARE CLUELESS AND UNEXPERIENCED.WHEN I ASKED ABOUT THE PATIENT I WAS VISITING AS TO PARTICIPATION IN THE DAILY PROGRAMS,THEY REPLIED WE DONT FORCE ANYONE."HELLO" MENTALLY ILL PEOPLE NEED TO BE FORCED,THEY ARE LIKE INFANTS -LOOKING FOR DIRECTION.OR THEY WILL ROT AWAY IN THEIR ROOMS, AS WAS THE CASE WITH OUR LOVED ONE. UPON OUR INITIAL VISIT,ARRIVING WE NOTICED HE WAS UNMOTIVATED AND VERY UNGROOMED. WHEN I ASKED THE STAFF ABOUT PERSONAL HYGIENE, THEY AGAIN REPLIED WE DONT FORCE ANYONE TO PARTICIPATE. MOVE OVER LET ME RUN THIS PLACE AND YOU WILL SEE RESULTS BECAUSE I WILL TREAT THE LIVING LIKE THEY STILL HAVE LIFE,NOT LIKE I AM JUST BIDING MY TIME UNTIL MY NEXT PAYCHECK. GET THE HELL OUT OF THE BUSINESS IF YOU ARE NOT RESULTS AND RECOVERY ORIENTED ON BEHALF OF THE MENTALLY ILL !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Only giving a star to be able to give a review! This place is absurd! Not only do they treat people like they are prisoners and crazy just because they have some mental health issues but then they dont give families time to be able to see their locked up families! And what the hell is with only one freaking hour a day?! Like I said theyre treated like prisoners and no time to have visits plus children are not allowed to be in! Wth?! So my family is going to travel long distance to see my father but his granddaughter isnt allowed in! OH and only two people at a time! So his wife then his two daughters have to split up time in that measly hour to see their father?!!! All he needs is to be back on his depression and anxiety meds! Not locked up! This is causing more stress and anxiety on him and his family and there was no reason for him to be treated like this. My mother was only trying to get help cause his lovely doctor hasnt done right By him and he stopped talking his medicine so she thought they be able to get him to take his meds and hed be able to go home with in a day or two not locked up! Nothing like causing so much stress on the patient and his wife! Oh and if children are not allowed in what about their poor children patients?! And just cause shes a child does not mean shes going to run around! Shes a well behaved child! If you are going to go to this place do all you can to NOT go here... Do not walk... RUN!

Human beings are not being treated humanely. It is a shame an needs to be stopped. People are being forced to take medications for illness that they do not have an being forced to be there for weeks or months without a valid reason of harming others or themselves without hallucinations nor illness. People have been forcing others to be in these places by calling 911 for an argument or disagreements as a way of control an attack to be evaluated at a hospital then forced to stay for observance taking advantage of the human right to part ways with others an live their own lives instead being punished for no illness or crime. Jewish agencies have been denied to help the patients by sending bottled water or kosher snacks or meals at location that have been able to help Jewish people unfortunately forced to stay at the location without real reason or illness an have been forced to take medication to be allowd to leave the facility. Very dangoues place. The workers try to soothe the situwation by telling a patient someone Jewish works there but that dose not help while being forced to take medications for serious illness they do not have nor are aggressive. Do not harm others by sending people to these places because of argument, life is sacred and one man dose not become rich by harming another there will be justice for those serious harmed and have no illness being kept there agianst their will.

Just before Christmas. I had went to barnabas for interview for part time housekeeping. I was very open n honest. Wasnt sure what shift I wanted. So the person told me to go home and talk with my Staff and see what they though. They were ok aith the 8:30 to 3:30 . 3 days a week. I had called the person back left a message. She had called back and wanted to set up a second interview. So i had e-mail human resources and the lady tod me I did not need to have a second interview. To call back for my hrs. So I did. When I called she wasnt there the other person had called me back said they had nothing for me at the time. My number was on there file. I was disappointed and hurt. Just because I have a disability dont lie to me one thing then other. I couldve done. This job but it would have taken. Soms time .
