I recently took my son to Coleman Eyecare because he was interested in contacts. He has been wearing glasses for the last several years, but because he is in middle school and the spring is coming, I decided to let him try them. Coleman Eyecare is in a convenient location because I shop at Walmart all the time. We arrived a few minutes early and he was ready to take us in as soon as we filled out some brief paperwork for insurance. My son is pretty fidgety when it comes to getting his eye exams, so I was kind of nervous going to a new optometrist. My fears were quickly put to rest because before too long Dr Coleman and my son were talking about the upcoming Cowboys game. He actually took the time to talk to my son like a person not just a patient. He even prepared my son for the dreaded air puff test by telling a joke. In the end, my son was set up with contacts and a back-up pair of glasses with his new prescription. He took extra time to make sure my son knew how to apply the contacts several times so he was comfortable doing it on his own. It is this kind of personal touch that will keep me coming back to Dr. Coleman.

First, I would like to note that this is the very first review I have ever written. I have astigmatism and require different prescription for each eye. With time, as my eyesight started progressively getting worse, getting my prescription right has become a challenge. However it was not a challenge for Dr. Coleman. He took his time, was very patient, and today I have the best pair of eye glasses Ive had in over 15 years! Dr. Coleman is one of those rare doctors who seems to have a true calling and a passion for what he does! He is always smiling and very eager to educate on various aspects of eye care. He is very knowledgeable about natural remedies to address various eye problems. His assistant Anna is very pleasant and helpful and its nice to see that Dr.Coleman respects and appreciates her!

Dr. Coleman is a very knowledgeable guy and has a very affable character that makes it easy to bring up any questions you have. Highly professional and genuinely interested in the well-being of his patients. My ophthalmologist handed me a prescription that turned out all wrong after my cataract replacement. I asked Dr. Coleman about it, and he figured it out before even checking my eyes. Hes been immeasurably helpful since I started seeing him, and Id recommend him to anyone.

Dr. Coleman is very knowledgeable and good with kids. He not only took the time to make sure my daughters prescription was correct but also caught an eye infection that we couldnt detect just by looking. Another doctor might not have spent the time to do a thorough exam like that. Office staff is great and took care of checking our insurance benefits to make sure everything was covered. Had a great experience with our visit and I would highly recommend him to others!

I brought my father into see Dr. Coleman, he was very happy to have been able to tell Dr. Coleman his condition to his knowledgeable staff. He was very patience, I will definitely look forward seeing him next year. I had asked my mothers ophthalmologist, who was the best OD in the city he told me Dr Coleman. When I arrived 5 mins before Dr Coleman was closing without an appt because I was in a very big hurry he was accommodating to see me, he figured out my insurance and stayed 30 mins late after closing to give me the most thorough exam Ive ever had. He was very sweet, patient and knowledgable. Hes gain a loyal patient for life!!

I am a foreign worker in US and I used to have my family sent over my contact lenses from home. Recently I lost my contact and needed replacement ASAP thus after some research I came in for an eye exam with Dr. Coleman. Overall my experience was very pleasant and both Dr. Coleman and his nurse were very helpful and nice. Will come again for my next check-up!

Dr. Coleman & his assistant were great! I have no insurance & the process was fast, affordable, friendly, gentle, professional... To sum it up, my experience was amazing. I recommend Coleman Eyecare, located in Wal-Mart, to anyone & everyone in need of a great Optometrist. Also, the Vision Center was great too! Exam, frames, & lenses were less than $200!

I came in with my three children on a Saturday morning with an appointment and the staff was very helpful on getting my insurance figured out. I didnt have to wait he was efficient, Dr. Coleman was great with my kids, we were all smiles when we left. I will definitely come back next year with my family and will recommend Dr. Coleman to others.

I walked in to set an appointment on my lunch break and Dr. Coleman walked out and said " We can see you right now if you like.!!!!" The lady at the front desk was very friendly and pleasant. The customer service and knowledge was great!! Very professional and made me feel very comfortable for a first time visit.

Dr. Coleman was terrific! He was very thorough in examining my eyes and my vision is now better than its been in years. He also hooked me up with a trial pair of contacts in my new prescription so I wouldnt have to wait for my new ones to arrive. The rest of his staff were very friendly and helpful as well.

Dr. Coleman made my visit very pleasant. I walked in after a stressful day at work and he made it very easy for me to get a new eye exam. Loved my visit. Very affordable and great convenient hours. This is my first time for corrective lenses and I want go with contacts.Dr. Coleman took the time to explain the process in detail and was very up front . He explained that it will take some tweaks to dial in the correct type and prescription.I am very happy so far.

I had a great experience at Coleman Eyecare. I was in and out quickly with excellent service. I was interested in colored contact lenses and they let me try on several sets to find the color I liked.
