Dr. John C. Lipman has truly changed my life through fibroid embolization. I started having extremely severe problems in October 2013 and by February 2015 had basically lost myself in a life ruled by Fibroids and the ever persistent symptoms associated with them. I had missed days of work, missed opportunities to attend social outings and given up a number of what had been daily activities. I suffered from anemia and experienced severe abdominal pain more often than not; simple actions such as standing up, sitting down or walking magnified this pain to a point of misery. I was afraid to plan trips in advance and worried anytime that I left home because I never knew when the bleeding would begin or end. Having an extra change of clothes wasnt just a good idea it was necessary, especially if there was a chance that I wouldnt have access to a restroom every 15-30 minutes to allow for feminine hygiene products to be changed. When I found Dr. Lipman and read about his experience and expertise I was hopeful for positive change but had no idea just how positive it would be. After two ultrasounds and one MRI confirming that fibroids were the issue I sought treatment. During my initial appointment with Dr. Lipman he went over my imaging results, explained everything I needed to know in simple, easy to understand terms and gave me options as to the treatment he could provide. I made an appointment that day for the procedure to be completed less than a month after my initial appointment. The pain and discomfort that followed the procedure lasted about 5 days for me but were nothing in comparison to what my life had been like and what it would have continued to be like had I not had this procedure. The procedure was 100% effective for me; by the following month I had zero symptoms and my life back all thanks to Dr. Lipman and his wonderful staff. I would recommend Dr. Lipman to anyone and should I ever have to make the choice for treatment again I would choose him every time.

From the very first appointment!! Dr Lipman and his staff have been impeccable!! So professonial and courteous!!! Any doubts I had washed away after I spoke with some of the staff and how UFE had changed even their own lives.... I made my appointment and was super surprised and how quickly UFE was scheduled and happened for me..... The procedure happens right there at Dr. Lipmans facility which is great... The nurse staff is very calming and comforting. Im also a special case when it comes to finding my vein, so instead of poking and prodding, Dr Lipman used a special device to assist with finding a vein which would be great for the staff to proceed. Now after the procedure, honest, truth. The pain for me was intense. The pain afterwards, even though I havent had children yet, felt like contractions. The very next night post-procedure, it was the worst pain I ever experienced, between not being able to get comfortable, and the "churning" sensation that followed. It was intense! Ladies!! However, do not let this deter you, my fibroids were huge and I had lots of them... So there was work to be done!! Came back to Dr Lipman and his staff late February had the usual MRI and dye procedure, and Lord!!! All of the smaller fibroids have disappeared!!! The largest one has reduced to half its size and the MRI results showed no more cysts on my ovaries! Ladies please consider this option! My periods are lighter and the swelling/bloating has disappeared...best thing I could have ever done! Wish I had done this sooner!!

My wife had the UFE procedure done in December of 2015 and it was the worst decision ever. Not only was she in pain for 6 months after the procedure but the fibroids came back. Dr. Lipman guaranteed that the fibroids would not come back and it would give us a better chance at having children. He says the procedure was non invasive and little recovery time. From December 2015 until June 2016 my wife was in pain and every time we called the nurse, they gave something different to try every time and told us that the recovery is six months which was not advertised. Unfortunately for my wife the recovery time was well past the two weeks or six months advertised but the pain finally went away. I trusted Dr. Lipman and his staff with my wifes life and trusted his recommendations would help us. The fibroids are not only back but I just found out that UFE decreases your chances of getting pregnant. My wife and I are back at the drawing board trying to find the best way to become parents. If you are considering getting the UFE procedure done, I would definitely recommend seeking a second opinion if you plan to have children. We just had an ultrasound done in July 2017 and found out my wife has 8 more fibroids in her uterus. Now we have to consider another surgery to put my wife through in order to have a child.

Where do I even start? Dr. Lipman is a true lifesaver. I have been battling extremely heave menstrual cycles my whole life. Since it was hereditary on my mothers side I thought there was nothing I could do but suffer and make the best of a bad situation. Nothing worked. Not birth control, not medicine, nothing. I was misdiagnosed with endometriosis and then later had a proper diagnosis of uterine fibroids by my gynecologist. After an ultrasound her recommendation was for a myomectomy (although this isnt what she called it). Trusting my instinct, I went to Dr. Lipman for a second opinion. Imagine my surprise when he said that not only was I a candidate for UFE, but that it could be scheduled for the following week. Two weeks later I was in my private room getting ready for my procedure. Five days later I felt like I was ready to resume my normal activity. Everyone from the medical staff to the office staff treated me like family and was concerned for my well being. Four months after my procedure and I feel like I have a new lease on life. Every where I go I tell women about him because they need to know there are other options. If it hadnt been for Dr. Lipman I truly dont know where Id be right now.

I am rating Dr. Lipman and his profession staff five (5) stars. When diagnosed with fibroids, I was nervous about the surgical procedure and considered living in agony. After visiting Dr. Lipmans office and meeting with his wonderful staff, I decided to have the procedure, UFE, performed. During each visit, his staff was courteous, empathetic, professional providing information based on their experience. I felt at ease. Within a few weeks, I was scheduled for the surgery... Today, I feel 100% better thanks to the procedure. My pocketbook is no longer filled with countless maxipads and tampons. I can confidently wear white pants and workout without the possibility of accidents. Removing the fibroids was the best decision made. Thank you Dr. LIpman (and his wonderful staff). Ladies, do not suffer with fibroid pain, heavy bleeding and accidents, visit Dr. Lipman and his staff. They will change your life!

I cannot begin to say how much I appreciate my regular GYN suggesting a consultation with Dr John Lipman to discuss Uterine Fibroid Embolization procedure. My quality of life is so much better due to Dr. Lipman performing this procedure of Uterine Fibroid Embolization. I had struggled with my Fibroid for several years but in particular the last couple of years were uncomfortable, painful and inconvenient. I would highly suggest looking at this option (UFE; Uterine Fibroid Embolization) way before discussing options of partial or full hysterectomy. My recovery time was complete in 7 days with Uterine Fibroid Embolization procedure as opposed to 6-8 weeks recovery with a hysterectomy. Also, the Uterine Fibroid Embolization is not near as an invasive procedure. Dr. Lipmans nurses and staff were absolutely awesome. I would highly suggest Uterine Fibroid Embolization procedure, Dr. John Lipman and his staff!!!
