I took my kid to the Marietta location to get help with some personal issues shes having. When I called to make an appointment, I was assured that their psychiatrists dealt with children/adolescents. Our appointment was at 2:20pm, however we were not seen until 15-20 minutes after our appointment time. While waiting, the office staff took my insurance copay. The psychiatrist then came for us and she assessed my kid by asking various questions on what made us come to her. After assessing my daughter/asking questions, the psychiatrist said for me to call my insurance carrier and see if they can find my kid a therapist because she is a psychiatrist. WELL DUH...I found this place on my insurance carriers website and was advised that this psychiatrist dealt with children and adolescents...she then said she could offer therapy if "I" like but said its best for me to call my insurance carrier and find a therapist. i THOUGHT SHE WAS A THERAPIST!!! I THOUGHT THIS OFFICE SPECIALIZED IN HELPING CHILDREN???!!! BUT THEY SPECIALIZE IN TAKING YOUR MONEY!!! If you werent going to or could not help my kid, why take my money just to tell me that? My kid received no help whatsoever and I feel like I was robbed of my hard earned money. I will never advise anyone to come here. Next time be up front with your potential customers and let them know if your office can help or not. I dont need this office to make an appointment with me, take my money, just to be told to find a therapist that would or could help. Not only that, the psychiatrist had a lackadaisical attitude about it and walked out without further assistance to give me or my kid. The only thing I could say was thank you because I did not want to turn into the incredible hulk about our so called visit. Never coming back here.

I am quite shocked with the negative reviews of this company. I personally have never heard or experienced anything short of awesomeness! These Doctors and P.As are amazing, knowledgeable, empathetic, and effective. Its always important to understand which provider to pick when trying to address an issue. As stated in the companys response to one reviewer, psychiatrists (assessment and medication is more of their line) are not therapist and although one may discuss their situation for assessment purposes..its important and always encouraged to seek therapy for a deeper look into who, what, when, and whys. Additionally, we have moved well into the modern times and technology is now necessary in many business practices. A client must understand that physical presence does not make the doctor qualified...the doctors (or PA) education and experience is what determines the quality of service you receive. The practice of "skyping" (more like a secure web cam app especially created for such privacy sensitive online meetings) a doctor is a very updated, convenient and common factor today. Id also like to add the Smyrna location has the most AMAZING FRONT OFFICE SUPERSTAR TEAM! The whole office is calm, quiet and comfortable!! Kudos Smyrna campus!!

My second experience with this location was with Dr.Robinson & was great. The staff was very professional, friendly, and understanding. The office manager seems to take great care of how the patients feel and addressing their concerns individually, shes wonderful. Dr.Robinson was very knowledgable, kind, and is very laid back and easy to feel comfortable around. Although it took me two months to see him, I was pleased with the visit. My only complaint (and the reason I dropped to four stars) would be that my medication was changed after I had been on the same one for close to a year, and theyre essentially the same medication with no difference, the only difference being one is $400 to get filled and one is $100 to get filled! So of course Id prefer the one I can afford! I waited four days to have my insurance approve the medication, and it still Did not come below $380 to fill. Now I am waiting two more days for a call back hoping Dr.Robinson will change me back to my original medication so I can get it filled ASAP, start my treatment and not have to jump through anymore hoops! Fingers crossed

I have been extremely disappointed in the lack of organization at this office. After leaving a message, I received a call back 2 days later with a voicemail. After that, I called the number and extension of the person that left the original message several times and never received another call. 3 weeks after the original call, I ended up talking to someone in appointments. Its frustrating because the only number you can get through to speak to an actual person (which often involves 5 or more minutes of wait time) is for appointments. These staff members know very little in regards to prescription refills or anything specific. The only thing they seem to know is how to make an appointment. Good luck getting through to someone that can actually answer your questions. It doesnt matter how good the doctors are if you can never get your basic questions answered in a timely manner, if at all! A successful practice should have all the bases covered.

I have been strugling with anxiety issues for the last past 6 months and me and my husband found this place through our insurance. We schedule an apointment with a Psyquiatrist called Naureen Munawar and were hoping we would finally get help with the issues I was going through. Biggest mistake we could ever make! Staff was sweet and helpful and Ill give them 5 stars just for the nurses up front, but although the doctor, she was the worst professional Ive ever had to deal with. Dr. Munuwar was completely rude and negligent. Didnt proceed like a mental health professional should, didnt show any interest about my issues and problems I was going through, had no patience to answer my questions and not only that, but she literaly wanted to throw me out of her office 5 minutes after I got in there with two prescriptions that were not corretly explained. Totaly negligent, mean, rude and egotistical! Extremely disappointed!

I transferred from the Bells Ferry office to the Smyrna office. I found out that they had to start all over with an initial visit I didnt know that util it was time to pay, I figured I would be getting a med review since I have been going to GBH. The Dr. saw me all of 20 min. I have a flex acct so I didnt notice until my insurance explanation. of benefits showed that the office charged me $500.00 for the visit which basically ended up as a med review! Rip off for basically continuing the same meds I been on! Not only that he was suppose to give me 3 months at a time, ended up with 1 month and no refills. Trying to get refills the following month which was futile. After several calls I gave up. Now it looks like I will be hunting for yet another dr and pay for a initial visit. This GBH is a racket and the psychiatrists are robots.

Was recommended to GBH by my Visiting nurse. I have now been there 3 times and have been treated with courtesy and respect. Have been seen with in 5/10 of appointment time and feel like my Case manager really listens to what is needed and works with me to find a balance to my medications, that allow me to function with out alot of side effects. Would recommend to those who are looking for responsible help in medication management in long term psychological problems like PTSD.
