I was referred to this oral surgeon by my dentist, after finding out that the cavities had worked their way into my nerves. Having just had a pleasant experience at my dentist office and their staff being incredibly caring including the dentist it eased my nerves and phobia of dentist/oral surgeons. The office was comfortable and the staff here were pleasant. A good sign in my book. My first meeting with Dr. Nadler was okay, seemed like another good sign. However as my appointment progressed to the payment time Dr. Nadler made another appearance. He told me he would strike me a deal if I quit smoking he would take half off the sedative the next time I came in. Then asked me "You have to think about it, what do I really get out of you quitting?" Keep in mind part of the reason I was referred to him in the first place was because he usually discounted cash paying customers. And with my appointment for two teeth to be extracted and the sedative coming to out to $820 I was thinking, Okay maybe I will still get said discount. Nope. I was only offered $10 off because my boyfriend had accidentally pulled $10 less. Okay whatever I thought, because hell we had the money and I was in pain. Now according to my boyfriend after waking up from the sedative I was asked again if I would quit smoking. And I quickly responded "I dont think so." Dr.Nadler had seemed rather ill with my response, showing it all over his face and made a hasty and pissed of exit from my room. I however wasnt fully awake and have NO recollection of this whatsoever. I dont even remember being moved to the car, I dont have any memories until I was already on the road home. About two weeks after this first appointment another tooth decided it was time to make a statement and broke. The pain was evil. Of course I needed it out and quickly. So I made an appointment. When it was time to pay I was discounted $162.50 ....I looked at my boyfriend and said "Wow this must be the discount my dentist meant. I will have to thank him and Dr.Nadler" I was promptly taken back to the room, hooked up to an I.V and had the beautiful laughing gas coursing through my system. As I lay there soaking in the calming feeling for 30 minutes I was pleased with myself. Although I hadnt quit smoking I had cut back from half a pack a day down to 5 cigarettes. A big achievement for myself. Dr. Nadler finally came in and his first question was "Have you quit smoking?" Of course I answered with my big accomplishment. "I havent quit but I am happy to say I have cut back to 5" He however was not impressed, and looked at me while Im there hooked up and loopy as all get out, feeling vulnerable but proud and said "Then you owe me $162.50" I was beyond stunned and wanted to cry. There was no mention of the previous appointments "agreement" when I paid, so I was flabbergasted. Blindsided. My accomplishment was stomped on by someone who claims he gets nothing from me quitting. I guess his moral compass didnt get stroked to satisfaction. And frankly bribing people to quit smoking is the same as bribing an addict. Seriously immoral and to be so callous was beyond damning in my eyes. You want people to quit but wont support their efforts? And to accept payment and start treatment then change your mind because I didnt complete your version of an agreement ,SOMETHING I NEVER AGREED TO, I am pretty sure isnt acceptable in MOST places. As far as being recommended by you...you wont be. And word of mouth does travel fast. If you are a smoker this Oral Surgeon with a Superiority complex will shame you and try to bribe you. Seriously, I am sure if someone did that to you, you would feel as slighted as I do. Maybe you didnt realize you came off this way but truly I am utterly disappointed. MY boyfriend and I will find another oral surgeon. My tainted smokers money will find another.

Probably the worst experience ever. Im surprised by the other positive reviews. I had to get 4 wisdom teeth removed. My bottom right was sideways and mostly impacted. The other 3 were fully impacted. He was extremely quick (not sure if thats a good thing) and was finished in 30 mins. My wife had 2 removed by another oral surgeon and it took an hour for comparison. She healed in like 3 days. I got home and bled for 2 days straight, and bled periodically if I as much smiled for another 4-5 days. I poured blood from my mouth for hours and hours after I got back home. It eventually clotted though so that was good. They did not explain a procedure to my wife on how to care for me. They told her to watch a video and disregard most of it since it didnt apply anymore. After a few days I was able to open my mouth and examine the work. Dr. Nadler actually almost removed my 4th molar on the bottom right. There was a long incision between my 3rd and 4th molar that he stitched back up upon realizing his mistake. Fortunately, before he cut it out. This was the side that bothered me so much. It ended up taking me nearly 2 weeks to fully heal. And I use "fully" lightly. Well, today I got a letter saying I owed the full bill of the surgery since my Dental insurance didnt cover these particular extractions due to the severity. My medical did though(which is why we used that), and that is what they told me in the office. The bill and everything I signed even stated this. They turned around and charged my Dental... Now I have to go deal with all this crap to get it fixed. My wife tells me this doctor had like 4-5 people in rooms waiting and he was trying to steam roll through as many as possible in the shortest time, to make more money Im assuming. Gentleness was not a priority. In summary, if you want a more gentle surgery which means faster recovery.. DONT GO HERE. My experience sucked and wouldnt wish this upon anyone. He even bragged about me being able to eat steak that night! I was so swollen I couldnt hardly drink soup.

After researching for an oral surgeon, I found myself at Dr Nadlers office. The front desk staff AND the staff directly caring for patients are happy, polite, professional and very helpful. After meeting Dr Nadler and having a consultation, we scheduled my daughters surgery. Dr Nadler is a great surgeon with a wonderful bedside manner. I was very pleased with the service and personal care throughout the entire process. This month, my sons need for oral surgery brought me back to Dr Nadlers office. This time was different as my son has many allergies, including medications, and negative reactions to anesthesia. Dr Nadler and his assistants were very attentive to me, my concerns, and all matters concerning my son and the upcoming procedure. After listening and learning all the details, they outlined the plan of action for my sons surgery. On surgery day, the procedure went smoothly and according to plan. Dr Nadler and staff are outstanding! They have taken wonderful care of my children and offered amazing support to my familys special circumstances.

I took my teen daughter in to have her wisdom teeth removed anyone done that? She was terrified, easy no how did it go? Great considering she was terrified cried the entire time was almost inconsolable had a severe panic attack. However, when the IV was placed she amazed it didnt hurt at all still terrified because she was afraid she might not wake up. Dr. Nadler was able to do her surgery in about 20 minutes we were done and I met my emotional teen daughter when it was over crying still she was relieved that it was all over. I know this is lengthy but sometimes people complain about the wait they have when seeing an oral surgeon please remember you dont know what they are dealing with most days probably a lot of people like us and that sometimes takes more time than anyone is expecting you will want the same courtesy when its your turn dont go to a specialist expecting to be in and out in a flash your not their only patient that day they are doing surgery have a bit more compassign for those patients you dont know what they are going through.
