Took our dogs there couple times he will always say your dogs need shots everytime you go in. The medication our dog needed he wrote a prescription and said try and fill it at some pharmacies ... no one had the drug they called the vet and asked what drug is this It is not coming up in our system. SOO we called a differerent vet and asked if they had the drug available they said yes, our vet just has to call them to confirm so they can fill it. Our vet calls us saying we cant fill your prescription cause we cant trust you anymore. We were so confused he gave us a prescription , we tried to find places to fill it once we did , he said he cant trust us.(parents have been taking dogs there for 25 years) Tens of thousands of dollars spend at this vet and he cant trust us. Be warned you take your dog for rountine visit I promise when you leave bill will be 300 + everytime

Dr. Mansour is by far the best veterinarian I have ever met. He is extremely friendly and easy to talk to. I took my cat for her pre-surgical exam to this location, and also had her spayed. The process was very easy and simple. Dr. Mansour also made me feel very comfortable as he handled my cat with love, as if she were his own. (Thank you so much for that!) Not only that, the surgery was only $45 and included her medication and an overnight stay. That is amazing! Her recovery went smoothly and there were no complications. Also, the rest of the staff at this location were friendly and helpful as well. They called a few times to follow up with me about the procedure to keep the lines of communication open, and that was very appreciated. Thank you for the amazing service! I highly recommend this location to everyone! :)

I went to this vet a few years ago but stopped because it was a little far for me to drive. However, due to the rising cost of health care for my pets I have since returned here. Dr. Mansour is reasonably priced compared to other vets. You dont feel with him that he wants to order a bunch of tests to charge you more money. I like his common sense approach. He is an older man with a great deal of experience. He has diagnosed a problem with my cat with a physical exam that another vet had to order several tests costing me hundreds of dollars to figure out. It is definitely worth the ride to me. Would definitely recommend him.

We have used Michigan St for over 10 years. Always reasonable and carrying. We just recently had to put down out Pointer. Dr. Mansour gives you the choice on having the dog sedated or not. I said no and regretted it, and quickly changed my mind. It was very sad and difficult but had to be done. I did not think the shots to put her down would be so hard but she knew something was up and she freaked. Doc was very good calmed us both down, sedated the dog and we started over again. It was my bad choice to not pay extra up front, not the Docs. He gave me the choice.

we have been going to Dr. Mansour with our 3 chihuahuas for years. Our oldest one, Nancy (whom we adopted), went through 3 major surgeries in one sitting (a week after we got her), she handled everything well. Dr. Mansour and his staff took care of our Nancy with concern and care. We are thankful everyday that he gave her more time for us to get know this amazing dog. I think if she could talk she would thank him everytime she saw him :). and to think this now happy healthy dog was going to be put down. thanks to Dr. Mansour and his staff for the compassion.

Ive been bringing my cat there for about a year now. The location and offices are a what you see is what you get, but Dr. Mansour and his staff are always pleasant and efficient. My cat was having issues with allergies (not that we knew it at the time), and Dr. Mansour was extremely thorough in his diagnosing, starting with the cheapest test (changing his food), before moving to different options as the illness progressed. I truly feel like he cares about the animals he sees and Im beyond happy with the care given.

Michigan Street Animal Hospital....I have been taking my pets there for years and Doc is not only a compassionate soul but truly loves and cares for each and every animal he encounters. The staff is wonderful giving everyone equal amount of attention and promptness. Dr. Mansour is awesome! I took my cat here to be spayed and not only were they by far the most reasonably priced, Dr. Mansour was very sweet and has an obvious passion for animals. They took great care of my cat and did not nickel and dime me even when I had to bring her back because she, being a kitten and rambunctious, busted a couple of stitches. I cannot recommend this place highly enough.

This is a wonderful Veterinarian who genuinely loves and cares for animals. He and his staff never try to sell you things, and he is only concerned with your pets health and happiness, not the bottom line. Its a very clean environment and the staff is also very caring and knowledgeable. If youre looking for a vet who cares and knows his stuff, this is your place.

Just moved to the area looking for a vet. called them, and the girl tells me to go to my regular vet. I tell her I am looking for one. Got my dog tested when he got his shots, and he has anaplasma phagocytophilum and borrelia; she said go somewhere else they dont treat that. Just tell me you have no room for new patients or anybody else you dont want to take.

We love Dr. Mansour. Weve gone to him since November 1994. He has cared for all of our dogs and been there through the sad times. He truly cares about animals and the people who love their pets. LOVE! I was recommended by some people at my work after not being to satisfied with other vets and he acted like my cat was his own! The front desk are helpful and efficient and they got my Luna in the same week as her pre surgical exam! So excited to pick her up tomorrow! They truly care about your pet!
