Dr. Lisa is great. She is very caring and loving to the animals, and very attentive to the owners. Dr. Lisa was taking good care of our dog. She seems to be open minded and knowledgeable about different treatment options. Also, Westmonte Animal Clinic is conveniently located, and clean. However, we had issues with the billing. It felt that the unnecessary extra charges were pushed on us as a must-do-matter-of-fact procedures. You may want to question every charge, and to do your research on the "needed" procedures EVERY time you are given the preliminary charges. There ALWAYS WILL BE EXTRA stuff you did not ask for (like nail trim). This did not feel right. Third time we went to Westmonte Clinic, I made a mistake of not asking about the total cost of the visit when I called and scheduled an appointment for the specific vaccine. My husband went with our dog and was charged for unnecessary procedure. He said that he was given the invoice as a matter of fact, and was told that heartworm test MUST BE DONE (it was done five month ago and the dog is taking good preventive medication). If you do not want to constantly be on your toes expecting something extra charged, look elsewhere. I wish, Dr. Lisa discussed all the procedures she chose while in the room with us, rather than her assistant bringing the invoice with the additional things on it. You have to have a decent knowledge of the medical care for the pets, so you can determine what procedures are unnecessary. !!! When scheduling your appointment, make sure you ask about total cost of the visit and talk to Dr. Lisa about any extra added procedures for additional information !!!

very beautiful place,Nice VERY NICE PEOPLE !!!!!!!!!!!!! buuuut....i went here Because my mom told me it was a really nice place! it was an emergency for my 2 month Pup..she had fell very high off the bed and was paralized for about 5 seconds. She was falling asleep and in a panic iwent to take her in !!! they were "examining" her for 1 minute and came out with her Very frightened which is normal because she has never went to the vet before....Buuuut....they made me pay $45 just for a 1 minute exam :/ which i thought was Highly Unreasonable...$45 for a 1 minute exam....I would expect alot for that price..my Go-to vet is literally 3 minutes from there and for an exam they would have charged me from $20 to $25 the most....i honestly am very Upset Over the pricing they have for a simple exam and ON TOP OF THAT HER PUPPY SHOTS...Way to much! i pay $30 for puppy shots at my go to Vet down the street..iwont be coming here monthly but i will give it a try some other time....overall it was very relaxing an so thanful all the vetanarians were so helpful and happy with my pup & me !

Absolutely AMAZING. We switched over from the SPCA/Humane Society (which became Pet Alliance) due to the poor service, sub-par facilities, lackluster vets and the expensive pricing. Westmonte Animal Clinic had AMAZING service from the moment I made the first phone call. The friendly environment, attention to detail, and especially their openness to questions and discussion about my pets was overwhelming and made my wife and I know that without a doubt, we were in great hands. The facilities were not only clean and accommodating, they were modern and made us feel that corners were never being cut. Most important was the staff - who welcomed conversation and our questioning of our pets and their care - it added to the intellectual discussion and created a wonderful environment where we felt we were truly being listened to and our pets were being taken care of. We are so happy we have switched and we are never going anywhere else again.

I came in this morning with an older stray Shih-Tzu, and Cindy was able to get me in ASAP! She was extremely welcoming, and I was also greeted warmly by Sara :) Dr. Matagrano was an absolute gem -- Im lucky to have found this clinic. She did a full exam on the little guy and sent me on my way with a great goodie bag and medicine to kill his fleas. He got all his vaccinations, and the care was efficient and kind. I highly recommend this small clinic -- they will make you and your pet(s) feel at home. Theyre straight to the point, and I appreciate their approach when it comes to sensitive topics and answering questions. Not to mention, they all have a fantastic sense of humor :)

I rescued my cat Cosmo less than two weeks ago from the Orange County Animal Shelter and he was having some definite issues- though not in personality though :) I had never had an animal before and was clueless as to how vet visits go and what happens with them (expectations, fees, what to bring, etc.). Upon entering Westmonte I felt so welcomed- the staff all care 100%, everyone is personable and professional, and there is a true warmth to their care. They followed up personally and even sent a lovely card in the mail. Highly recommend! I have decided that even though theyre in another county theyre who I want caring for my pal. :)

I am a regular customer and I cant describe how happy I am with Lisa and the staff at Westmonte Animal Clinic. We adopted 2 shelter dogs in mid-2014 and although we had free this-and-that at two other vets offices, the reviews were not pleasing for those ones. However WAC had good reviews and so we went here first—and we never looked back. The vet (Dr. Lisa Matagrano) answers all of our questions and is very helpful, and quite down-to-earth. The staff have always been pleasant in person and over the phone. Theres not much more I can say, except that you wont regret making her your veterinarian!

Services are great and they treat your pets with lots of care. HOWEVER they do, as some other reviews mentioned, charge a lot for procedures that may not be entirely necessary. Make sure you look at what theyre charging you for and the relationships between the needs and wants if you dont want to spend a lot of money on your visit to the vet. Ive been taking both of my dogs here since they were born (one 7 years ago and the other dog is 1 year old) and the vets here have been more than attentive and caring, but the charges are something to definitely look out for.

The veterinarians and support staff at Westmonte Animal Clinic are outstanding! All are kind, committed and caring animal lovers, who understand the needs of both animals and their caregivers. From the ease of scheduling appointments to the follow up telephone calls, the care and attention you and your pets receive here is second to none. You arent just a number at this clinic. I work with a rescue group, and the care they give to the "indigent" animals is every bit as comprehensive and caring as it is to the luckier animals living in forever homes.

We met Dr. Lisa and staff, when we brought our 7 yr old Blue Nose in for a second opinion on his health. We knew immediately that we had found our life long Vet! We have since lost our boy but have 2 new puppies and couldnt imagine going to any one else. Dr. Lisa and staff truly care and its something that you can feel right away. The best part is in fighting our 7 yrs olds cancer we became very holistic, Dr. Lisa completely understood and totally works with us on the best approach for caring for our new fur babies. Thanks so much Westmonte Animal Clinic
