I recently picked my dog up from boarding with LEAH. While waiting for her to be brought up to the front, I notice her weight on check out. She had lost 10 lbs while being boarded for 5 days. I asked the vet tech how could this be and she read off a kennel card that said "did not eat", "did not eat", 10 times. When they finally brought her up she was noticably thinner and we reconfirmed her weight while I was there. Just over 10lbs she lost while there. What is even more insulting then the complete lack of care, was while we were away we called to check in on her. EVERY time we got " Shes doing great, eating, walking on a leash well with the techs ". I called to speak to one of the actual vets, and he blamed the weight loss on a misread scale. So the techs are not competent enough to weigh a dog? How about each of the times she was weighed, while she was there, there was a 2 lb loss at each weigh-in? They actually recorded the weight loss in the computer and it printed with my receipt! No one noticed this, even as they recorded it?? I am thankful I wasnt out of town long enough to come back to a dead dog who was "doing great, eating and walking on a leash with the techs"...

This Vet is so caring so compassionate. This was not my Vet for my Geoffrey my Dalmatian. On Sat Dec 11,2016. My Geoffrey was dying my Vet didnt have enough room in cooler to hold for His journey to the Rainbow Bridge My daughter takes her own girls there to Lake Emma. She call an explained the situation. Jennifer Mgr call Dr Dee an he said we will take Geoffrey. They were all so kind compassionate at this sad time. They treated my Geoffrey like a king. They calm him with a IV set up in leg one shot for anxiety. One shot like he was going into surgery. Then in this nice room set up for Geoffrey final journey .Dr Dee cared for him so gentle. Geoffrey journey was over he crossed the Rainbow Bridge. Thank you Lake Emma Vet Dr Dee an Jennifer. An the girls so caring fory needs. I wish I started Geoffrey there at the beginning. A 3 year old neutered male, 11 pounds, came into my life unexpectedly. It is so recent I still havent thought of a name for him. I decided to leave him with Lake Emma Hospital to satisfy travel plans that were made long before the cats arrival. Such experiences rarely occur at our convenience. I had a great deal of confidence in the staff at Lake Emma, and Dr. Groberg, from previous experiences. They took excellent care of him during my absence. We now have him on a health plan that should keep him well for a long time. I feel he was abandoned several months ago, when I first began to notice him wandering the neighborhood. He is now properly identified and registered. I expect to make regular visits to Lake Emma Hospital on his behalf. There is still more to do for this little one.

Ive been bringing my 9 year old dog to Lake Emma Animal Hospital since we moved to the area 7 years ago. My previous vet had incorrectly diagnosed her with hip dysplasia and cost me $2,000 in unnecessary imaging and ortho consults. First time she saw Dr. Dee, he diagnosed her with luxating patella and showed me himself how her kneecaps popped in and out (no imaging required) - there was nothing wrong with her hips. Dr. Dee offers many alternatives and solutions when discussing treatment options, gives common sense advice, and is personable and patient. His staff is consistently friendly and helpful as well. I highly recommend Dr. Dee and Lake Emma Animal Hospital.

I have used the Lake Emma Animal Hospital for about 3 and one-half years. I have always found them to be quite knowledgable, compassionate, and reasonably priced. They always call me a day or two after each visit with my fur baby to check on him or her. When I had to "let go" of my old dog because of heart disease, they could not have been more kind and helpful with all the arrangements. Generally, I used only one specific Doctor, but when I have used the other vets they were all as wonderful. I lived in Lake Mary when I chose them for my vet, but now I live on the very far side of Oviedo and I still take my new dog. I cant say enough good about them. Kay

When I called to make the appt. the receptionist was so helpful and listened to my long story about my dog. Scheduling the appt. was fast and easy. The hospital is in a great part of town and so easy to find. It was very clean, lots of parking too. The receptionist inside was so nice and even though it was after 5:00 in the afternoon we got right in to see Dr. Beazlie who was wonderful. He even sat on the floor with our dogs. Yes, we will be going back to Emma Animal Hospital for our dogs care. We really thought this place was great and great prices too.

I have been using Lake Emma Hospital for about 9 years now and it has always been the best one for me . I have had 3 dogs in their care now. My first one Kiwi was a favourite there and all the staff were very sad and compassionate when she died. I now have Rosie and Stitch who are well known and love Dr Gorberg who has always given them the best care and will telephone herself to speak to you about them. I only wish I could find a medical doctor like her !!!! I have also seen Dr Dee and he was very good too. I would recommend them to anyone !!!

Had to take my kitty Psychopants in to have her looked at because I was concerned that a tumor had returned. She wasnt registered there, and they were booked (Saturday), but they decided to look at her anyway because of my concerns. Dr Crainick, was very pleasant, and gave me her honest opinions about my options. She was also very compassionate, and referred me to an Oncologist as well. 200% satisfied with the level of service I received, and would recommend Lake Emma Animal Hospital to anyone!

Ive had nothing but great experiences with Lake Emma Animal Hospital. My dog has been going here for 7 years. The level of personal care is amazing, and attention to detail makes me feel like we are part of their "family" and not just a name on paper. Ive never felt stupid for overworrying about any issue, and the vets and the techs are always willing to answer any question I have brought forth. I especially appreciate the follow up call after each an every visit to ask how my dog is doing!

I moved to Sanford last fall and I asked around for vet recommendations which brought me to Lake Emma Animal hospital. I have five cats and one dog so having a vet I can really trust is important. At Lake Emma Animal Hospital I have exactly what I need. I know my animals are I good hands. Everyone on the staff are friendly and always happy to answer any questions...and I always have a bunch!
