Ive been meaning to write this review for months, but having an almost 4 year old and a 5 month old, I am just now getting around to it! My first daughter was born in March 08 at Presbyterian Dallas. To sum up my experience with my former OB and her practice: I was pressured into being induced for no legitimate reason, my plans for having a natural childbirth flew out the window once the pitocin contractions kicked in, and I have the unfortunate distinction of being the only woman I personally know (out of about 10-12 moms!) who had a baby with that practice and did not end up with a c-section. When I discovered I was pregnant again in January of 11, I knew that I had to find a new doctor. I truly believe that if I had stayed with my old practice, I would have been induced again and more likely than not, ended up with a c-section. I started doing some Google investigating and I came across Dr. Weinstein. I liked the fact that he is such an advocate of natural childbirth and especially VBAC (even though I didnt personally need one), which is so incredibly rare in this area. I hadnt planned on having my baby in Frisco, but figured a good doctor was worth the change in plans. I am so so so so incredibly happy I picked Dr. Weinstein. From the first time I met him, I knew he was the right doctor for me. Even my husband, who didnt quite understand my desire to change doctors at first, completely got on board. (I think he thought I had found some quack on the internet.) His office and staff are great and unlike with my previous pregnancy where I felt like one insignificant patient amongst the throngs, Dr. Weinstein has a smaller practice where he actually takes the time to get to know his patients. On September 8, 2011, I delivered a 9 lb, 14 oz (2 lbs bigger than my first!!) girl completely natural with Dr. Weinstein at Baylor Frisco. Even though my labor wasnt the quickest, I never once felt pressured or like the clock was ticking. At one of my first appointments with him, he promised me that choosing him as my doctor would be the closest thing to delivering at a birth center and he was completely right. Also, as a side note, I had been quite leery about delivering at Baylor Frisco after hearing that it was not natural birth friendly. In my experience, that couldnt be further from the truth. My labor and delivery nurse, Linda, was FABULOUS and did everything to make my birth experience exactly what I was looking for. Two huge thumbs up for Dr. Weinstein and Frisco Womens Health.

I was searching for a new doctor here recently, specifically to help with my infertility issues. I wasnt exactly thrilled about going to an RE because I like having a more permanent and personal relationship with my doctors. But I was resigned to the fact that I might not have a choice. I started searching for doctors willing to help with infertility in the general vicinity of Allen/McKinney/Frisco. I came across Dr. Weinsteins website in one of my searches. I dont know if it was a stroke of luck or divine intervention, but I am so grateful that I clicked on that link. Its unlikely that I will ever be able to properly express how happy and relieved I am to have found Dr. Weinsteins office. Everyone in the office is so wonderful and willing to help as much as they can. They are very thorough and have been very willing to work with me and my frustrating insurance. And I LOVE how much time Dr. Weinstein spends with his patients. It may mean waiting a little longer to see him sometimes, but I have never felt so completely understood by a doctor in my life. That is definitely worth any wait. I am so elated to finally have a plan in place and a little bit of hope back. Dr. Weinstein did have to refer me to an RE to help out with some tests that needed to be done, but it was someone he is familiar with. I know that if he wouldnt recommend them to a family member, then he wouldnt have recommended them to me. Which is a very comforting thought. He will still be the main doctor monitoring my case and only refer me to someone else if it is absolutely necessary. I love that I am establishing a long term patient/doctor relationship with such a compassionate and knowledgeable doctor. I would highly recommend Dr. Weinstein to anyone that wanted a new doctor, especially if you have a slightly complicated situation.

THIS PLACE DESERVES A NEGATIVE -5 STARS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So let me see if I get this straight. I go in for a procedure and ask how much up front . They give me a price and this price included a follow up visit. So in writing I have a receipt with procedure and follow up. I paid in full the day of this procedure. As Im walking out i ask(DO I OWE YOU ANYTHING ELSE???) there answer is NO you are all paid up. Go to my follow up 6 weeks later. After my follow up all is good and once again I walk to the counter and ask if any money is owed??? The answer I get is no you are all paid up. 30 days later guess what I get??? A bill for 244 dollars. Wow really . So I call and this is what I get. The doctor had to run a few extra test and thats what its for . Really do you have this is writing ? Do you have proof of me authorizing further test for more money? I ask up front for a procedure cash price .You gave me a price . I paid it in full and asked several times after do I owe any money ? NO and NO is what I got. Now you send me to collections because I wont play your cat and mouse game of lets charge more money because we can. At the age of 51, I, like many other women, was experiencing the embarrassment of urinary stress incontinence. After reading an article by Dr. Weinstein about treatment options for the condition, I decided to make an appointment with him for my annual womens check-up. His office is conveniently located in Frisco at Baylor Medical Center Frisco -- a nice change from having to make the drive to Plano. From the initial consultation, which takes place in his office and not the exam room, to the physical exam, my surgery, and my post-op follow-up, I have nothing but great things to say. I had the TVT-Secure (sling) implant, and my incontinence was gone the SAME DAY! I experienced no pain post op, and in fact the most annoying part was being able to feel the single stitch at first, but that came out all on its own. The procedure took under 20 minutes, and if I had been adamant with the anesthesiologist about IV Sedation instead of General Anesthesia, I could have been home about an hour after the procedure was finished! In addition to taking care of my GYN problems, he also diagnosed my Vit D deficiency, for which I was successfully treated, and referred me to a TERRIFIC neurologist who specializes in headaches when I told him about my problems in that area. I couldnt be more pleased with the care I have received. If you are looking for not only a great OB-GYN, but a great doctor in general, Dr. Weinstein is your man!
