Please read all before putting your health in Nancy E Boyden’s hands I would like to share my experience with Nancy E Boyden, ARNP. I went to her telling her I was very fatigued, anxious (diagnosed 3-4 years ago), feeling very tense and irritable. She ran extensive blood work. She prescribed me thyroid medicine, progesterone and 20 000 IU of vitamin D per day. As I left the clinic, I requested my blood work results to take a look at them from home. As I reviewed the results, I noticed that my thyroid, progesterone and Vitamin D were just fine, but my Ferritin and B12 were not within range, that got me worried so I called her back. When she got back to me she mentioned that she does not treat “blood work”, she treats people according to their symptoms. I decided to trust her and go ahead and start the thyroid medicine. I began to feel worse: anxiety to the maximum, aggressive and jittery. During our previous appointment, she told me the thyroid medicine can take some adjustment and to call her if I had any of the exact symptoms that I was experiencing. I stopped the medicine and called her back with a very descriptive message. She never called back as she said she would so I went to see a real doctor...who was shocked, bewildered and upset of such malpractice…malpractice because I had no such of Vitamin D deficiency and to be given a dosage that if I would have kept taking would have been toxic for me since I HAD NO DEFICIENCY. She cannot even read blood work results correctly. I was treated for problems I did not have such as thyroid, progesterone and vitamin D, which made my symptoms that I was hoping to treat in the first place get a lot worse. To make matters worse, my insurance wont cover the extensive blood work she ordered because it wasn’t necessary according to my health condition…and anyway she doesn’t treat “blood work”, she treats people so it was unnecessary in the first place! As a result, I have lost precious time where I needed the most help and got worse. Please consider another ARNP if that’s the kind of specialty you seek. Your health is precious and your time worth more than going to someone impartial to hormone therapy who is also trying to sell you the products she sales.

I have nothing but awesome things to say about Nancy and her office! I have never felt as if doctors listen to me because its such a quick in and out appointment. The first time I sat down with Nancy we discussed my medical history, and we were talking for over an hour.... about my past, my familys history, what my concerns are, and what my goals are.... and we made a plan. I give Nancy 5 stars because she earned it!
