I had a bad experience here last year. It was shockingly expensive, to start out with. Before charging $30 for an anal gland expression, he criticized me (former vet tech) for doing it on my own and not paying him to do it. Im not paying someone $30 every 3-4 weeks to do a 5 second job. After the expression, he claimed my dogs glands were infected and gave me 5 days of liquid medication for cats (not enough days to clear the infection, on top of a more difficult application for a dog who takes pills no problem). I also explained to him how he had back/hip problems formerly diagnosed, and he disagreed and said that he thinks hes just sensitive to his tail being touched. To note, a few days later we went to a different vet after an extreme episode of an excruciating slipped disc. So a quick office visit, anal gland expression, 5 days of antibiotics, and an allergy injection came out to around $160. I will and have paid for good care at these prices, but the care I received here was not good and not worth the price. I want to give 2 stars for my experience, but Ill give 3 because I know others love coming here.

we moved to Fate July of 2012. When our fur babies (2 cats and 3 dogs) needed immunizations we decided to try Animal Hospital of Fate. All I can say is "Thank Dog!" We immediately felt like we had known Dr. Dusty and Dr. Darren for years. They and their staff are all so friendly and caring. I look forward to our appointments and visiting with Dr. Dusty and Dr. Darren. So personable and funny! They love our babies and take the time to pet and love on them, earnestly listening to our concerns and needs. We had the sad occasion of one of our dogs becoming violently ill and passing away while we were out of town. When I informed the staff what had happened, Dr. Dusty called to give her sympathy for our loss and to give me words of comfort. We received a sympathy card signed by both doctors and the entire staff. We were so touched and know in our hearts, that Animal Hospital of Fate will forever be where we take our fur babies. Just cant say enough good about this place and the staff!

I first visited the Animal Hospital of Fate in Jan of 2013 when I took my dog in, he was a stray that showed up at my husbands job. Our dog had severe heart worms and soon went through heart worm treatment, as of Jan 2014 our dog is heart worm free! Animal Hospital of Fate saved his life, he is now happy and healthy! I have also used the dog boarding services at the Animal Hospital of Fate and was so shocked when I picked our dog up after being boarded he was so happy and acted like he didnt want to leave, made me really at ease about upcoming trips and the security of boarding him at a place hes comfortable happy and safe. The doctor and staff are so loving and compassionate with animals Im happy we found them! The Animal Hospital was referred to us.

My old girl developed cancer. The docs referred her to a diagnostic vet. But at her age the treatments would have been cruel and not helped her quality of life. The docs at the Animal Hospital of Fate openly discussed treatments for her. We discussed what the future would bring and a plan for the remaining quality of life. When the day came that Roxy was no longer benefiting from the treatment I had to make the hard, but easy, decision. The docs care and handling of Roxy, and myself, was awesome. It cannot be easy for a vet to put a pet down much less deal with a grieving human. But everyone handled the situation professionally, with care, and empathy.

From the time I fired my old vet and went searching for a new vet the Animal Hospital of Fate has been a great find for over three years. They have taken care of my three monsters through the annual exams, to back injuries, to ingesting rat poison, and an absessed tooth. My monsters have received excellent care every time in the door. The staff really seems to love animals. I even buy my monsters heart worm medicine right there at the vet, no need to order online and wait. I am comfortable, and pleased, with the care that my monsters receive and fully recommend the Animal Hospital of Fate to pet caregivers that love their charges.

I have two dogs, Daisy, a minature schnauzer and Zoe, a maltese. I have been going to see Dr. Darren and Dr. Dusty for a few years. I have never had a bad visit. They are so caring and loving with my babies. I also board them when we go on vacation or during the holidays. I know they will be looked after and cared for. I trust the Drs. and the staff and would highly recommend them to anyone that needs a Vet in the area. The facilites are very nice and clean and they have a great backyard for the animals to get exercise and play for overnight stays.

Dr. Darren & Dr Dusty have been taking care of our dog(s) for the past 8 years. They have done everything from nose surgery, neutering, spaying, helping us bring 9 beautiful Yellow Labrador Retriever puppys into this world & providing them with the best possible health care you can give mans best friend. When we moved from Wisconsin over a year ago we were looking for the same great, compassionate care that we had received for our three shepherds in Wisconsin. We were fortunate to have found Doctor Goucher, who has been an outstanding vet to our dogs. He always spends enough time with us, and makes sure he addresses all our concerns. I cant imagine going anywhere else!

One of my dogs who had been with us for over 13.5 years had to be put to rest. The staff was very caring and gave us all the time we needed when we found out it was time to say goodbye. They treat you and your fur babies like you are a part of their own family, which is a blessing since other vets dont do that.
