I went to Durell Family Dentistry to redeem a Groupon for Zoom! Whitening. My first impression was great. I made an appointment request online and someone emailed me back right away! Scheduling an appointment was easy and I didnt have to wait very long.I got a phone call the day before to remind me, which was especially helpful because I thought my appointment was at 8:30, not 8:00! On the morning of my appointment, I missed the turn and got lost. A very friendly woman was able to give me directions and was even willing to stay on the phone with me to guide me turn-by-turn. That is excellent customer service, in my opinion. When I arrived, the office was nice and the waiting room was spacious and had many magazines. I went back right away and Diana explained each step of the Zoom! Whitening process. She constantly checked to make sure I was comfortable and even brought me a blanket when I was feeling chilly! At the end of the treatment, I was able to meet Dr. Laura, who I found very friendly. Overall, I was totally satisfied with the quality of the treatment but even more pleased with the friendly and caring attitudes of the staff members. I highly recommend Durell Family Dentistry and have no reservations about doing so.

I had a filling a few fillings replaced by Dr. Durell. Previous fillings lasted 15 years without problem. I was told the silver ones typically last 10 years and the ones they were putting in would last my life. Well they last about 1 year. I had one pop out while flossing. I went to them and had them fix it. Then I had another filling they replaced with a crown break while in on a work trip. Just now, a second time, the same filling has fallen out. All this whithin a year. When I tried to come in because it was an emergency and painful, I was told they couldnt see me today and would have to wait until tomorrow. The billing is a mess. They give you an estimate and you pay after the appointment and sure enough they didnt charge enough and send you a bill later. -1 star for poor billing. -1 star for not being able to respond promptly to emergencies. - 1star for fillings not lasting.

I had a filling replaced by Dr. Durell. It fell out in less than 2 years. Front office staff said my insurance would pay 60% as always. They paid nothing because the filling did not last 5 years. Durells did nothing to adjust the cost. Front office staff has changed. This office is not at all what it used to be. I wont be going back.

Amazingly kind and caring dentists both Dr David and Dr Laura Durell are exceptionaly skilled and very patient as well as understanding of a patients fears and concerns! They also have an amazing staff that are very qualified to care for the entire families needs.
