My mother has been living at Summit Pointe, Marion, IA. She complains that the food quality has never been outstanding and has steadily declined over the years she has been there. I recently visited and was unpleasantly surprised by the unpalatability of the food. Baked goods were dry, vegetables overcooked, main dishes underseasoned (no salt, I understand that, but no flavoring at all?). Tenants have complained to the food service director and to the facility director to no avail. They wont contact Corporate, but I will! If you are considering this place, eat a full days meals there before signing a contract.

My mother has lived at Summit for 6 years and she just loves the food. I visit her every weekend and I cant wait for the menu and the food. Its unbelievable and awsome. I praise the chef everytime I see them. The place is great and everyone has the own taste but I love the food. I wish I could take some home with me. Keep up the good work Love the place.
