Worst dental place Ive ever been to. The hygenist named honey was super nice but used some tool to clean my teeth that carved ridges in my teeth along my gum line on my back molars, then the guy (dentist) thats in charge there is a real weirdo and acts like hes scared to touch you as if I was some bum off the street that smelled or something. And God forbid if you ask him to repeat something cuz you didnt understand the dentist lingo. And the dentist I actually ended up with, I forget her name, she is caucasian with brown hair and what a witch but with a B, she wont let you ask any questions, she cuts you off when youre talking, looks down her nose at you as if to say "How dare you question anything!" and what got me is all the front desk girls love this certain female dentist but I highly doubt she treats them the way she treated me. This place is a complete joke and filled with amatures. They must hire just any old dental person fresh out of dental school or something and then they practice on us as their guinea pigs. The front desk clerks are ok, its the dentists that are terrible in their ability to be civil to the patients and then of course, you gotta love honey the hygenists personality but she damaged my teeth permanently! So no matter how nice honey was, she cant just go around damaging peoples teeth! Needless to say, I left that place running and will NEVER go back. I go out to U of M now and they do a great job cuz they have teachers watching their every move and supervise their work when they are done. U of M works for me cuz I dont have insurance. If you have to go to Midwestern, do NOT let honey use that tool in your mouth that spins. Make her clean your teeth the old fashioned way or youll probably end up with ridges in your back molars too! If you want to be treated like you matter, do NOT go to this place, they are pretty mean and that female dentist I got was just hateful, like she was having a bad day and taking it out on me! I dont like being treated like that by anyone, but if you can put up with the dentists lousy personalities and dont mind if the hygenist carves ridgest in your teeth, then hey by all means to go midwestern. I would NEVER refer someone to this place!

Very unprofessional. Switched offices from Canton to Woodhaven a few months ago. Could not make an appointment with Woodhaven until the paperwork was completed for a transfer, even though they are all Midwestern Dental Offices. Was told the process would take up to 5-10 business days. After 3 weeks of waiting I called to make an appointment and the receptionist had no clue what I was talking about, nor who I was, even though she is the one who handed me the paper work for the transfer 3 weeks prior. After calling Canton to find out that they had sent the paperwork and my dental file to Woodhaven days before hand, I confronted the main desk. Sure enough my paper work was sitting on their fax machine in Woodhaven. Within a few hours they had me in their system and was able to make an appointment if needed. I asked to make an appointment immediately due to chronic tooth pain. I was told they could get me in, in about 3 months. When asked what to do for the pain in the mean time, I was told to deal with it or come for an emergency visit. I came for the emergency visit as directed to do so. When arriving I was told that the dentist would be out of the office within the next two hours and may not be able to get in for the emergency visit. After all whats the point of a emergency visit if you cant see me? He fit me in to see me for about 4 minutes and prescribed me narcotics for the pain and a follow up appointment in Dearborn to have the tooth removed. I am currently still waiting after months to get into the Dearborn office to for the tooth extraction. On top of it all I called them back in May to schedule an appointment for my daughter, as she had broken a tooth. I was told once again by the receptionist that they could fit her in for an appointment in OCTOBER!!!!!!!!!!! Very unprofessional and unorganized. My suggestion is to find a dental plan with a provider who is organized and cares about the patients health enough to give them an appointment within 30 days not 180 days. I will be changing my dental plan during open enrollment for 2018

Went in for an emergency after I broke my tooth. After getting a temporary patch, they had me schedule an appointment "to get that taken care of. I went back in for that appoint and had xrays taken and was looked at by the dentist. I assumed it was prep work for the procedure until they walked me out to get scheduled. Turns out that "to get that taken care of" was a routine cleaning, and they were hoping to get me scheduled for the procedure sometime in a month or so. When I explained that was not at all what I wanted or thought was happening, I was told they were "sorry you misunderstood that". I asked if there was anything they could do for the next visit, since I had an unnecessary and unwanted visit that day. "Im sorry, but we cant do anything for you." I was visibly livid, and the manager didnt even come out to deliver her message herself. Ill be trying a new dentist, even if it means starting over and waiting another month for my tooth.

This place is terrible. You have to wait forever whenever you have an appointment, they place you on hold forever on the phone, and the dental work is the worst . My husband has had nothing but problems since he had work done there. Not only did one of his fillings fall out but they didnt place a crown on properly. The crown kept coming off and eventually he had to go back and have it completely redone because of the improper seating. He also ended up having cavities in both teeth on the sides of the crown due to the improper seating. We finally started going to a REAL dentist and they advised us to stay away from dental cattle call places like this. They said they have seen terrible dental work constantly from this place. I will never go again and I recommend that everyone stay away, unless you want more problems than you had in the first place!!

I would never recommend going here. They lied about insurance coverage just to get our money and they dont bill your insurance properly. We had dual coverage insurance which covers 100%. They had the billing so screwed up, it was a total nightmare that even delta dental could not believe it. Then they tried to double dip and charge us for co pay and procedure that were already paid for by the insurance co. Trying to find someone to help.you with their billing nightmare was impossible because they avoid you in hopes you will just double pay them and go away. The insurance co. Was going to investigate them, because they were also trying to collect from them for stuff they were already paid for. They, in my opinion, are nothing but a scam. Would not recommend going there ever!
