Absolutely stay away from this dentist!!! Until switching to Dr. Armstrong I was with my previous dentist for 30 years with no major work ever. After switching to Armstong I was convinced I needed 6 caps and root canals in a 4 year period. On 2 separate occasions 2 different dental assistance of his told me they believed he did unnecessary work and was more interested in the money. (These may or may not be the ones John below speaks of but regardless I cant see what they had to gain at the time by telling me this and from my own personal experience I am strongly inclined to believe them). Not only was my insurance bled dry but every time I came in they tried to charge me for another ex-ray even if I had had one only a month previous.??? When I would come to ask a question I would be charged a councilation fee. Worse off most my caps fall off on a normal basis and Im forced to return for frequent visits to have them glued back on at a cost of $100 a piece! Since my inital visit 2 of the caps he gave me (I would have prefered fillings but he pushed me toward caps and root canels) have now come off due to his root canal work, taking parts of the teeth below with them..I now am missing 2 teeth thanks to him. I AM a current patient and not an ex employee. God how I wish I would have stayed with my last dentist or at least done more research before switching! I am sorry John but my experience was not nearly as good as yours..I only hope that you are not a family member of Dr. Armstrongs on here only posing as a patient to cast doubt on negative reviews. I myself as a patient am very very unhappy with the service received. In addition I went to a health review page for Dr Armstrong and only 50% of people would recomend him to friends or family...I think that speaks volumes

This dentist office is amazing!!! I went in today for a routine check up/cleaning and the staff and Dr.Armstrong were awesome! Very professional place with new technology that i have not seen previously at any other dentist office i been to. The dental hygienist that i had was beyond great! She took her time, was extremely intelligent, knew what she was doing, and her work was very thorough. On top of that she was very friendly and has an amazing personality. We talked a lot about many things but unfortunately I didnt get her name; but let me describe her, she has a healthy body, brunette with curly hair that was up, and hazel/light brown eyes. i had a wonderful experience today i cannot stress this enough, i will never go to another dentist again. Dr.Armstrong was very educated, professional, and friendly as well. He fixed my two front teeth that i had indentations in ever since i lost my baby teeth! i was amazed and asked him why hasnt any other dentist i been to straighten out my two front teeth!! Its because simply this dentist office actually has a good staff with good intentions that want the best for their patients!! i can go on and on and on about how great Dr.Armstrongs office is. If your looking for a good dentist, you found it! I found this office online when i was searching great dental offices in my area that take my insurance by looking on whether or not they have good online reviews. Dr.Armstrong has amazing reviews because he and his staff deserve it! Im getting my family, my mother, and two brothers to schedule an appointment this week because this dentist office is awesome!

The absolute worse denatl experience EVER! Do not go here...my husband went in due to pain. He was told he needed a root canal. It was done the same day. After about a week, he still had some pain. He went back in and was told that there was some adjustments needed. A couple of weeks later, he still had pain. When he called, he was told that it was normal. His teeth were settling. Another few weeks, he went back in and was told that he needed ANOTHER root canal. After another few weeks, he finally went in to another dentist. The problem tooth needed to be pulled. The new dentist couldnt believe that Dr. Armstrong didnt see the decay in the problem tooth. It was two teeth down from the tooth the root canal was performed on. Make matters worse, when I called to speak to the office, I was met with such resistance and disdain. The office manager, Nicole did everything to avoid taking responsibility. Her main concern was to let us know that it wasnt them. It was us. There was no concern over the patient. When I asked to speak to the dentist, she told me that she would check his schedule and see if he wants to speak to me. Really? If his overall concern is the patient, then why wouldnt he want to speak to me? Doctors/Dentists should care about their patients. Thats how you grow your business. But I guess, they are more about billings and how to grow their pockets. READ the other reviews. We certainly should have before going in.

Armstrong is the worst dentist I have ever went to. I had pain in my upper tooth and he said I needed a root canal and it would cost me over $6000 just for 1 tooth!! I said no way I would pay that when others charge $500. He said your wisdom teeth need to be removed immediatlety thats why you have pain, and I was like you know what do it since Ive been having excrutiating pain for weeks. He pulled 3 wisdom teeth out that had nothing to due with my pain!!!! My pain got even worse than before, I went to the hospital and they diagnosed me with trigeminal neuralgia, and the wisdom teeth extraction was the cause. I then went to another dentist and he did my root canal for only $500 and that was the only problem I had. Thanks doctor Armstrong, I hope youre sleeping good at night because Im not, all thanks to you!! Youre a fraud and you lie to patients and tell them they need dental work done when they dont. It was the biggest MISTAKE in my life coming to you!!!!! I will tell everyone to not come to you. PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THIS FRAUD! I thought we can trust our doctors but at the end of the day, all they want is your money, they can care less about you. I bet all these GOOD reviews are from his employees, you dont even deserve a 1 star, but thats the least I can give you.

I dont usually write reviews, but my experience at Dr. Armstrongs office was so positive I want to share. I suffered from a tooth ache. I have a fear of painful procedures, so I put off going to see him for weeks, even cancelling my appointments a few times. when I did go his friendly staff immediately made me feel comfortable and like a guest in their home. The office was extremely clean and updated. Dr. Armstrong performed a root canal on my tooth. He took time to explain what had happened and what he was going to do. After he numbed the area I did not feel a thing. That is important for someone like me who has anxiety over the fear of pain. I went back for the permenant tooth a few weeks later and it matched the rest of the teeth in my mouth perfectly. I havent had any problems since. I would definitely recommend Dr. Armstrong to my family, friends, and anyone who is looking for a new dentist.
