I have used this location many times before when living on the area, I think Dr. Winters is great. But the reason for my low rating is the terrible and scary predicament that I was put in. I called on a Monday to get an appointment for a health certificate that I would need for my flight on Sunday. I was scheduled for an appointment on Friday at 11. At 8:40am Friday, I received a voicemail canceling my appointment and that the vet on during the weekends is not accredited to do health certificates.... I called back and of course there is nothing that can be done but was given phone numbers to other vets offices to try. I called several locations, all but 2 could not see me in such short notice, one in Bluffton could for a huge price tag of $170!!! Thats 3 times the price I was planning on paying. Finally found another location that would see us the same day for a much lower rate. Please beware of visiting here if you have a short time frame because you could be put in a terrible predicament like I was.

They took me in for my cat acting super strange at 115 when they closed at 2 that day . Needless to say , that was super appreciative and calming to my nerves when Ive never been to a vet for an actual sick pet . They took me in , cleaned up my cat from peeing in his carrier , asked what was wrong from beginning to up into vet room . After the exam , it was a small issue that could have gotten worse if left untreated . Treatment and visit and last minute walk in was 82 bucks !!!!! I give them 4 stars only because , although we all knew it was last minute , they didnt have to act all rushed and in a hurry to get me out after I had a few more questions . Overall , great experience , and I will definitely take my pets there again . DONT FORGET TO MAKE APPTS !

Amazing! You can tell they really care about pets because they dont make it prohibitively expensive to get them the care they need. Well that and the just stellar skills. Weve had our 2 dogs spayed at Affordable Pet Day Clinic and in both cases the surgery was perfect, with fast recovery and no complications. There isnt even a scar. Last week we had our littlest dog spayed there and within just a couple of days she was back to her perky self with 0 signs of infection or pain. They also cleaned her teeth while she was under. Our vet vet in Savannah wanted $500 just for the teeth cleaning. That said, make sure you plan ahead. There is a significant wait but its well worth it.

This week I had to make a heart wrenching decision to euthanize my almost 16 year old cairn terrier, Sabrina. The compassion, sensitivity, and warmth shown by Dr. Smith Sr. and his staff are the only thing that got me through this difficult time. He had cared for Sabrina for the 3 years since we moved down here and had always had her quality of life as,the most important aspect of her care. I cannot say enough about the way she and my family were treated. Lastly, the affordability of the care demonstrates that this practice is about helping pet owners do what is best for their pets not the clinics bottom line. Thank you Dr. Smith, Ronni-Graf Reaves

Not only are the fees affordable and make RESPONSIBLE pet ownership manageable, but so far, the level of care and attention my animals have received from Drs. Smith has been great. After trying a couple other clinics in the area, I am very pleased with APDC and would recommend it to any animal owner. Dr. and Dr. Smith are building a practice that focuses on the animals and their needs first and the profit bottom-line second. As an owner of multiple animals, I am grateful for the economical care. Mostly, though, I am pleased with the quality of professional services they offer. KUDOS!!

I LOVE this vet. He is way cheaper than many of the vets in Beaufort. (Way better than the Animal Hospital of Beaufort.) I am retired military dependent and the base vet actually recommended this place. When our Mastiff died they were very compassionate and allowed us to stay with our dog as long as we wanted after she had passed. I cant say enough nice things about him. Before that, he did 3 surgeries on her and only charged us $150.00!! I hope someone reads this review before suffering the overcharged fees of the Animal Hospital of Beaufort.

WONDERFUL, Absolutely the best, great care that is truly affordable. All animal lovers want to provide medical care for their pets but sometimes the cost makes that difficult. The Vets at Affordable Pet Care love animals, they are kind and caring, the cost of vaccines, treatment/ procedures is well below what you would pay elsewhere. They dont try to push care/ special food, unless your pet really needs it. A big thank you to Dr. Smith and staff for the care our kitties have been given!

I love this place, Dr.Smith is so nice he treats you like family. The staff is awesome and they are respectful of there prices. My 6 month old English Cocker Spaniel is going there to get spayed in March and I couldnt feel more comfortable with leaving her there to get spayed. The only thing I have to say thats bad is that there wait times are long I called last week and the earliest opening they have is in March, but I will wait all year to have her spayed by Dr.Smith.

Doctors Smith and Smith have provided excellent care for my pets. They have given appointments on short notice for critical problems. Their prices are fair and the do their best to keep testing and bills to a minimum.
