Most people I know are always apprehensive about going to the dentist about anything. Well not me as I have a more positive view on caring for my teeth. Now searching for the right dentist can be a little nerveracking and difficult. When I found Dr. David L. Jones DDS & Assoc I knew I found a true winner in excellent practice and care. Everyone there is friendly, courteous, understanding, and overall presents a good atomshpere of ease. Dr. Jones and Dr. Avolio have great bed side manner and treat you like a human being and not just another patient. I have gotten great advice on care for my teeth, and the care they have given to get my peridontal problem under control has been a rewarding expierence. Everyone in that office knows what they are doing. If you ever are in need of a good dentist then I strongly suggest visiting this practice. You will not regret it.

I am terribly frightened of the dentist because of some very bad experiences growing up. Its so bad that I even went back to NY to see my dentist for several years after moving to VA Beach. When I needed my first crown though, my dentist in NY said it was time to find someone closer to home. Thats when both a friend and a colleague referred me to Dr. Jones. I have to say he is an amazing dentist. I have had several crowns since then (due to the damage done by dentists in the past) and a few fillings. Everything has been done so well, I dare say hes better than my NYU dentist! But the thing I like best about him - besides his wonderful staff - is that he always takes time to explain everything and is very calm and confidence inspiring. As a military family we relocate frequently. It is a challenge each time to find new healthcare professionals. I asked around at my childrens schools and in my neighborhood trying to find a dental practice that met my familys needs. After visiting several dental practices we settled here with Dr. Jones and staff. They are professional, friendly, and efficient. Our first visit was in 2012 and we will not be changing practices until we move once again. Thank you all for being so wonderful!

First, I have to say that I hate dentists...sorry Dr. Jones :-) I also have to say that I have been going to Dr. Jones for over 8 years. From the start, the whole staff has been caring and gentle and can make you laugh. They use a water spray to clean your teeth which is a lot more gentle. I live in Norfolk and its worth the travel to Virginia Beach. So, while I hate dentists, I love going to Dr. Jones for all my dentistry. Thanks.

Had an appointment last week (Jan 25) for first time in years at dentist. The staff was great and Mr. Jones was very honest. Instead of going for more money, which I would have went with, he was totally honest and upfront with my situation and in doing so saved my thousands of dollars. I got a cleaning and go back for more work shortly. Very impressed with the whole crew and floored y his honesty! Highly recommend!

Jones & Assoc has been our family dentist since we moved to the Tidewater area in 1992. They have provided quality care and friendly service since the beginning, so I was not at all surprised when I was able to get seen first thing in the morning the day after I cracked a tooth at dinner. I was impressed by the artistry with which the repair was done - no one could tell the tooth had ever been cracked!

I have been a patient with Dr. Jones practice since 2006. The staff has always been friendly and efficient. I have never had to wait more than 15 minutes before being taken into the back for my appointment. I have always gotten my questions answered and felt I spent adequate time with the dentist. They have always accepted my dental insurance, and I have had great service overall.

I can honestly say that I look forward to going to dentist. I love this office, everyone is so nice and friendly. It is very clean with updated technology. I love my hygienist! Its a place of acceptance and no judgement on dental hygiene practices (I.e. Lack of flossing). The dentists are knowledgeable and are personable. I recommend this practice to all of my friends.

I have been going to Dr. Jones for about 14 yrs. All the staff are very courteous and accommodating. I have been met with excellent service and fair pricing. I do not have insurance and Dr. Jones has always been willing to provide me with a discount. He went out of his way to come in on a day off when I had an broken tooth, and set up an appt. for repair within a day.

I have been going to Dr. (David) Jones for over 20 years. I have never had a bad experience. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. Dr. Jones is very gentle. I had a crown put on last fall. Although the procedure was time-consuming, it was not painful or uncomfortable. My parents moved to VA Beach 2 years ago, and they now go to Dr. Jones, as well.

Ive been going here since I was a kid, and Ive always had a great experience! Everyone is friendly and changes your mind about fearing the dentist. They do a great job at cleaning my teeth, and show me exactly what is going on if there is something wrong. I never have to wait very long, either. I completely recommend it.

Starting from the front desk on, they make it a point to get to know their patients rather than just looking at each individual coming through the door as a dollar sign. Theres just a warm family-environment feel to the office, and I trust the dentists with any treatment recommendations they feel necessary.

horrible office!! this office messed up 2 of my wifes teeth. she got 2 fillings there and had issues for months. Dr. Jones office kept saying month after month........give it a little longer......its just sensitive because its new!! Also the wait in the office before seeing the doctor is rediculous!!!!

I brought my 2 daughters in after someone recommended I go there and they loved it. The staff was friendly and knew how to interact with kids which made it easier for them to be comfortable. It is a nice clean office with no long wait. I would definitely recommend anyone to go here.

They are great. My appt. is on time. They can work in an emergency patient. The hygienists are great. Ive had 2. Dr. Avolio is great. I needed a root canal and they can scan & fabricate on site. The fit was perfect. The staff loves people as much as they love their jobs.
