So today I had an appointment at 10:40 but didnt get called until 11:10. When I first got in there, my mother had called about a form she needed to fill out the day before, however the front desk people had no idea what she was talking about. I was not very surprised about being called in late though because this also happened at my last visit. Then I waited two hours just for the manager (I believe she is) to tell us the doctor needed at least a day to review the form. We were never told that and I understand the circumstances, but they let us wait for two hours to never even see the doctor. They seem to be very unorganized and I will not be returning to this office. I would not recommend it. We had also noticed that the sink faucet was MOLDY. It was disgusting and unsanitary.

Dr. Batten is great with my son, but not so much with adults. He often times made me feel dumb for asking questions. I even made my husband go with me to make sure it wasnt just me being sensitive, but he even agreed that he was often times condescending to me whenever I asked questions. Were moving and wont be coming back, but the only reason I did keep coming back was his nurse. She was so incredibly friendly, nice, and informative. If I ever had questions she was the one I wanted to ask. She always made us feel comfortable.

After moving he either was very nervous trying to find my son a new doctor I liked as much as the one he had back home. As a baby he was sick alot with allergies and has been being treated for asthma since he was 6 months, but I really like doctor seagull. She listens to all my concerns and never makes me feel like Im asking dumb questions after delivering our newest son here in Virginia Beach she has also been great with him. I would definitely recommend her to anyone.

We are a military family with four children. One of our daughters has special needs. Dr. Batten and everyone at this facility are absolutely wonderful. They are prompt, friendly, professional, and extremely personal. They know us by name and my kids always like going. Each time I call for an appointment, a prescription or for a referral, I speak to someone right away and am assisted in no time without any hassles at all. We highly recommend Sentara and love Dr. Batten!
