I arrived via ambulance. At first I wanted to go to Brandon hospital a few miles down the road, but the EMT told me that TGH had recently built an ER center near me. I always knew TGH had a good rep for treating their patients well, so I agreed. It was my very first time being an ER patient; I was having shortness of breath, weird tightness in my chest, and was struggling with trying not to pass out in the dry heat--compounded with stress and fear of something life-threatening going on. The nurse who attended to me was very kind and understanding of my fears. I had lots of questions about what they were doing for me, and she answered them to the T. The doctor who visited me was also clear and concise about what kind of tests needed to be done, and what the results were. Even the lady at the front desk was helpful with my question on how to use Uber! All in all, I felt like I was well taken care of here!

Terrible waiting time, we arrived according to Google maps at 10:44 am and Is 2:46 and we are still waiting for the doctor went outside and asked for the doctor they said had no idea when would she come see my husband, we were the only ones In the lobby the check in was pretty fast, but omg !!!! Weve been waiting since. We thought it was gonna take less time because the parking lot had probably 10 cars , other busier ERs are way faster than this, is it only 1 Dr right now? 3:30 we are still here Dr. Finally came after going twice to the nurse station and asked for her

I have been to this facility three times now and have waited ridiculous amounts of time to just find out everything is OK! Just went in with my 1 year old daughter bc she had a 102 fever and waited 4 hours to find out she just has a cold and to do a Tylenol/Motrin schedule. I do like the Drs and the facility itself but I cant take myself to go back due to the excessive wait.

Arrived at 0100 on Friday night. Only two people in the lobby. I thought great maybe it wont take long......Wrong Two hours later The three of us were still in the lobby. Ok 0300 Im in my room. The nurse said they were busy and the doctor might take a while to get to me....Great another waiting game.... 0445 no doctor and I left...I will never go here again.

We went in around 12/12:30 and waited 2.5 hours to even be brought back with only two people in the waiting room I thought we would of been back a lot quicker. We then waited about 1.5 hours in the back and finally left without even being seen . NEVER AGAIN I should of just taken My little one to st joes off big bend

I wish I could give this place no stars...when in with a kidney stone and all because Ive had several since I was 16... (Im 31 now) they refused to give me any narcotics for pain and treated me like a drug addict!! I will NEVER go back to this place again!!

The nursing staff is great the doctor beecom is a joke if your not dieing he wants to give you Advil wont be using this place again. Nor will I refer anyone go to Lakewood ranch you will be taken much better care of

Facility is brand new and spotless. The staff are so nice.. from the valet to the Dr. staff, everyone was helpful and asked if we needed assistance with anything.
