I took my children here because I had no other choice with my insurance. Although he seemed pleasant, I DID NOT like the way they forced the children to swallow the water/toothpaste when they did the cleaning. My son was grossed out by it a gagged throughout the entire cleaning. When I questioned them, they said "children are too messy". Thats why they make them swallow it and have no sinks to rinse their mouths. If children are too messy, then why are you in the business of serving them?? My kids say theres the yukky dentist every time we drive by. Not to mention, the staff questioned me when I brought my daughter in for her appointment. They said, "Oh youre the one who was a No-Show last time", NO, I actually CANCELLED that appointment. IDK. I think there are other pediatric dentists in the area that are better .

If I could give him zero stars I would. I went to Dr. Gonzalez as a child, 20+ years ago. He was very mean and intimidating. I would get a filling with no novacaine and if you cried, he would yell at you to stop being a baby. I had 20+ fillings and until I went to a real dentist as an adult, I never knew that you should not feel a filling. I started seeing this horrible man at the age of 7 until I was in high school. He would threaten me not to tell my parents he was hurting me. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CHILDREN TO THIS MAN.

I will never take my child back ever again, I was told how nice it is there so I tried it out, the moment my son had to get a cap I was not allowed to go back there with him, he told me how he was screaming for me and how he felt everything and that the lady was holding him down. Because of that he dont like dentist now, and a day later he had a thumb print size mark on his arm that shows me that they forced him down in the chair and holding him tight. I advise any mother to not allow your child to go back alone.

Today was our first time at Pediatric Dental Center. The staff and Dr. Gonzalez were absolutely wonderful! Dr. Gonzalez took some time before the exam to get to know my 3 children and really made them feel comfortable. The staff were all phenomenal and so patient with my 3 year old who had a previous negative dental experience. The office was fully equiped for lots of fun while waiting. Our family has definitely found a pediatric dentist we can count on!!

All 6 of my children are patients of Dr. Gonzalez and I could not be more thrilled with the level of care and overall experience at Pediatric Dental Center! The staff is AWESOME and they make my children comfortable and take very good care of their precious pearly whites. I wish I could have a dentist office I look forward to like my kids. I entrust their dental care to the BEST in Tampa Bay.

Horrible. Let me toddler scream the entire time without offering any other options and now hates his teeth even being touched. Other Drs said it was unnecessary. Bullied me into staying evend after I said I wanted to get a second opinion. Dif.the really realize what happened until after the fact. Wont retrun

I highly recommend Dr Gonzalez and his staff. He has been our Dentist/Orthodontist for several years. My kids love him and actually like going to the Dentist/Orthodontist. The staff has always been friendly and efficient. All work and expenses are explained and he does great work!

I do not attend this dental office in the present BUT I very much remember him from my kid days he was not a very nice man told me to shut up when I was a little girl while doing work on my teeth. So like a previous review I wouldnt even give him 1 star he was horrible.

They got one star because i i had no choice but to them a star. There staff is very ignorant and rude. They force your child to wear what they call a happy blanket(straight jacket). I would never recommend anyone who loves their children to take them there.

Appointments for ortho are very limited and only 2 days per week. Interview orthodontists who have early morning and late afternoon appointments. With this office, you are guaranteed to have your child out of school 1/2 day once a month for ortho.

Theyve been so great the past couple of years and they are very accommodating. I messed up my appointment day and was completely willing to come back another day but they went the extra mile to squeeze us in.
