They provide decent medical care, but nothing better than decent in my experience. However, their billing department needs to get it together. I know half a dozen people who have had problems with them, and it always goes like this: they give their insurance information and dont receive a bill, so they assume their insurance has covered it. Months later, they MIGHT receive one automated phone call from mercy saying they owe money. Or, they might just get a call from a collections agency. No paper bill ever. Too many of my friends have gotten their credit scores wrecked by Mercy Allen!

I have been to the Mercy Allen Hospital ER many times. I have always been treated well by the nurses and the doctors. Dr. Paul has been my doctor quite often and has always been cordial and professional. They take care of everything very professionally. Some things are out of their hands, such as the ambulance. If you want an ER that will take care of you right away go to Allen. I would rather go there than have to deal with hours of waiting at a larger hospital to see the doctor. Its a small hospital and one needs to remember that when they go to the ER there.

Emergency room dont provide me for interpreter. I kept asked nurse for get me interpreter three times due Im deaf, nurse poked my arm that blood everywhere on bed and my sweatpants, my urine cup been on counter by sink for about 4 hours! Doctor did kept asked nurse few times to get me interpreter. Doctor said nurses fault and hospitals fault for not provide me interpreter! I will never go there ever again. They are very lousy service big time! I dont appreciate that! That very disgust! no respect me!

Horrible. We brought a friend here that was couching up blood and they didnt see him for hours. They said they were going to transfer him to the Cleveland Clinc, and we waited for more than 2 hours for an ambulance when he was in horrible pain. They treat you like idiots and belittle you when you ask questions. Never ever go here. Go anywhere but this hospital. They treat you awfully with no care towards even the friends or family that are in pain, much alone yourself.

This place does not deserve any stars. Took my son who stopped breathing for over a minute, their and they discharged us in just 45 minutes and said nothing was wrong. Took him to St John Medical Center in Westlake and they admitted him and have been here 2 days now doing test and keeping him on a monitor. This is not a hospital. Its a bandaid station that needs to get their prioritys straight and become a real hospital or close your doors

The nurses Kaci, Diana and Rob were terrific! Kind, gentle and efficient in doing their jobs. They were very attentive to my needs. Dr. Lee was excellent as well. Very comforting but also honest and informative. Ive been here (unfortunately) three times in the last year with kidney stones. This staff makes the process as tolerable as it can be and prepared me well for caring for myself when I left.

I see really bad reviews here so I just want to add mine. I am an RN over 20 years and have been going to this hospital, as well as my children and grandchildren, there whole lives. We have always had great treatment by the ER. My daughter was just in recently and she was treated quickly and was properly diagnosed/treated. I have not ever had a bad experience with this ER.

Came in with chest pains at 5:30 am. Was seen immediately. EKG and X-ray taken. Just as the dr came in to tell me I was having a heart attack I crashed. Twice. Revived and life flighted to Mercy in Lorain were I was given a stent. I dint know about their bedsore manner, but the saved my life. And in the end that means a lot to me.

Horrible. Had my son treated there after he got hurt playing outside. Started getting collection notices staying hee was in a car accident, despite presenting insurance at time of treatment. Car accident? What car accident? Obviously bad patient records keeping in violation of privacy laws. Still trying to resolve.

I went to the ER last night with a massive migraine which was affecting my myasthenia gravis. At around 12 midnight they started using a jack hammer or equivalent 6 feet from my door. Anger set in. So instead of being transferred to a hospital that the doctor wanted me sent to I left AMA. Thanks!!!

I was referred from here while unconscious and my bill was referred to a collection agency! I am being forced to pursue legal action to clear my credit because they did not want to do a minimum of work or act responsibly to make it right. Use their services at your own risk!

It doesnr deserve any ratings. They are rude as hell. Expecially Doctor Paul. He doesnt deserve to be a doctor. He was to worried about personal business instead of taking care of my boyfriend. We will never EVER go there again. And i wouldnt recommend them to anyone.

Worst place ever. Was told I was overacting of my syptoms and sent home. 3 days later I was in emergency surgery at emh and almost died. Thank you dr. Paul for almost letting me die at the age of 29. Reported him to the Ohio state medical board.

went 2 times with 2 different family members. I was not the patient, but RN and triage nurses were very nice, so was the intake personnel. The woman Doctor she was very nice and helpful to my family
