Obviously youre going to end up with a lot of negative reviews when you are an inpatient/outpatient mental health facility. That said, I have overwhelmingly positive things to say about NTBHs outpatient program. I came to its PHP program broken, fragile and at the end of my rope. This was what I felt was my last hope after a year of suffering INTENSE major depression and having battled depression/anxiety for more than 20 years. The people there changed my life. From Tammy at the front desk, who made me feel welcomed and safe from the moment I walked in to Ally and Raveen and Megan and Dr. Hart, I was treated as a PERSON, not a patient file number, not some whacko with a mental illness, but a PERSON who was worthy of being helped. The group sessions were on point and helpful. The one-on-one sessions I had with Ally changed my life. She did more for me in four one-on-one sessions than all the other therapists Ive seen for more than two decades. After PHP, I stepped down to IOP, where the focus was more intensive on processing the world around us that we were about to return to. Reisha was amazingly helpful in this, and I felt READY when it came time to graduate. I also was fortunate enough to be a candidate for NTBHs TMS program and received treatment for 36 sessions with Lizzete. She was amazing at making me feel comfortable and caring about my progress. The only area I feel could be improved in this entire outpatient program is a better orientation for new patients on Day One of PHP. Its a very difficult time for the patient in the first place, and there is very little about "What to expect," so youre left to learn about the flow of things from other group members. I would have felt a lot better by having a half hour or less with someone who would tell me "OK, this is whats going to happen on Day 1, this is how lunch is done, this is what a normal day will be like, this is when youll see Dr. Hart," etc. Overall, NTBH helped give me my life back. They gave me the tools from which I could rebuild myself better than before. That said, from what I saw, you get out of it what you put in. I saw people who didnt appreciate the opportunity and who languished and, not surprisingly, were back in the program again as I finished up my TMS treatments. Thats my advice to anyone who takes advantage of this service: Truly take advantage of it! There are great people willing to help you. Let them help you. Pay attention. Participate. Work at it. Work WITH the people who are trying to help you. Use the gym time to unwind... shoot hoops, ride the bikes, walk... dont just sit there. This opportunity could change your life!

NOT WORTH IT!! DONT TRUST DR KHAN! I am a long term sufferer so I understand the process. This place is a JOKE. Yes, its clean, updated facility, but they really should have bought a few less plasma TVs and spent some money on training their staff. This is a glorified nursing home. The daily mental health tech staff is shockingly ill equipped to work with mental illness patients. We were belittled, made fun of, ignored and treated like feeble children. 24hrs after arriving I received no instruction on rules, procedures, schedules, staff, but I was instantly berated for not being "proactive" enough to learn them. I received a small information packet that promised respectful treatment, safe, stable environment and full schedule of activities, therapy, etc etc. In reality the so called activities were run by unqualified staff with little to no knowledge of the subject and even less interest in us. The nursing staff was just as bad. These groups happened when the staff felt like and we very very very very very rarely were to go allowed outside leaving patients nothing but watch TV all day and wait for cigarette breaks. It should be noted that their system for smoking is incredibly counter productive. 7 smoke breaks a day, 2 cigarettes at a time= 14/day. There are 20/pack. They are creating addicts who do nothing but wait for another smoke. And likely turns casual smokers into pack-a-day smokers. (I am not a smoker myself but it was hard not to start!) And to my complete shock there was no content filter on the TV which allowed violent news, dark drama, horror and sexual content which can agitate stress, violent thoughts, behavior and in no way provides a stable environment. Patients who lined up first at med time were made fun of for being "addicts", "too eager". They lost my blood test twice, probably cause they kept calling me the wrong name. They food was cheap, full of starches and fillers and then we were lead through the halls there was no effort to hide staff only soda and candy, etc machines. What purpose does it serve to remind patients of what they cant have? My family had a very hard time getting anyone to return their calls regarding my progress. After I was discharged for almost a week I called to get my records and they didnt know I was gone even gone! They hung up on me and called my family to verify that I was, infact, who I claimed to be. Spend your money and time where they care about patients. The only benefit is Dr. T. Johnson, and the facility is so new that it was still relatively clean - probably where they spend all their money.

This is the worst facility ever. I tried to reach a patient at around 7:30 pm last night, kept being put on hold and no one on the unit answered. I was finally told no calls after 8 pm. I called again today around 12:30pm no answer on the unit. I gave the benefit of the doubt, I tried calling again and still no answer on the unit! I called again and was hung up on. I called a final time asking to speak with a supervisor and was told she will call me back at 3pm. Still no call and all i wanted was an update! I am beyou d over this place! BEWARE DO NOT TAKE FAMILY HERE!!!!!! Update- I just spoke with the supervisor Amy. She is a peach! I explained the issues and instead of dealing with them her self she wanted to pass me off to someone else! I explained that I would not be transferred and she decided to start telling me that she is listening and trying to help! This facility is clear run by ignorant people! I told her that i was trying my hardest to be nice but if I had to be transferred so was not going to be pleasant to speak with! She was condescending in the way she spoke with me and clearly of no help! 2nd Update- Apparently they havent had hot showers in the last 2 days and the facility doesnt know why and when it will be fixed. 3rd update- So my family member did not have hot water for a total of 6 days while there. The intake Dr. gave him medication which made him higher than a kite, and no one cared to notice!!!!! I also dropped off 3 copies of FMLA paper work in the span of a week and was told it would not be filled out by the inpatient dr , and the outpatient doctor will not fill it out until 08/22/2017 mins you he was in inpatient for 11 days. I have paid these people $2,290 total and no paper work is being filled out! We will be contacting the insurance company and demanding they not pay for anything and asking for a complete refund! This place is a damn joke! They are only here to take your money and not fill out the FMLA paper work! So NTB if you want to be paid from a private insurance maybe dont screw up so much!
