I have been meaning to leave a review for a couple of months now but procrastination is my middle name. I just have to say that Dr. Musgrave is the best doctor that Ive ever been a patient for. He is compassionate, kind, personable, and most importantly, LISTENS! His bedside manor is wonderful. That is hard to find nowadays with doctors being so busy or for whatever reason they have not to be all of these things. He makes me feel like I am actually involved in my own healthcare instead of pushing his own treatment on me whether I agree with it or not. He takes my concerns seriously instead of interrupting me and pushing me out of the door to move on to the next patient. His staff is also amazing. Misty and Kelly have always treated me like theyve known me forever. They also have impeccable bedside manor. If I wasnt there for an appointment, and they didnt have a job to do, I could sit there and talk with them for hours. I had a very rough day today and it got worse upon arriving to my appointment. I feel like they were genuinely concerned. I even got my very own box of tissues lol. The front staff has also always been professional and accommodating, always greeting me with a smile. I cant thank Dr. Musgrave and his fantastic staff enough for always making me feel comfortable in my uncomfortable situation. Dr Musgrave sees both of my children and me since our move to FW a few months ago. First, the practice takes walk-ins and have always gotten us in on the day we called. The longest I waited was 30 minutes when we had an appointment and the very nice ladies at the front desk took the time to walk over to us and say sorry 2 times. The time I walked in for myself, the wait was 10 minutes. Even though we have been in a few times in a short period (trying to kick strep), I was very surprised on our second and third visits that he remembered the kids interests, their nicknames, and my profession. He was not going through the motions in any way. Dr. Musgrave is very down to earth and never dismissed my opinion because he is the doctor and I am not. He also spends as much time (more than any doctor I have seen) with us as possible, and is extremely nice and approachable. Most importantly I can tell he is well read, he keeps up on new medical techniques and is confident in his ability to make the right decision. I challenge anyone to ask him difficult questions and you will understand what I mean. I highly recommend seeing Dr. Musgrave. You will not be disappointed.

Unfortunately with me he was just another pill pushing doctor. He prescribed an anti depressant within the 1st 20min of our first appt. I waited a month for the appointment with him specifically not a nurse, and I am sorely disappointed. I called after the appointment to ask for a Doctors note for an ergonomic desk at work because I believe it will help me with work stress and not having to sit for 10+ hrs a day and after repeated effort to get a response I was told no because they need a diagnosis to support the note. I dont understand why it takes 20min to get anti depressant meds with side effects that could make my situation worse but to get a DESK, he needs more appointments and a diagnosis. This is whats what is wrong with American healthcare. Not enough doctors who care to actually help. They are all too busy.

I had an appointment at 4 p.m. today. It took over 2.5 hours for me to see the doctor. It is flu season and they accept walk-ins, but this is an extremely long time considering I set the appointment over a week in advance, even for a clinic. Dr. Henderson was very nice about it and apologized. She went further and made sure to give me an abundant supply of samples for a costly, regular prescription. I did the math and taking the time, my bill, and the sample into account, I was up $70 when I walked out. If I went to a restaurant and they made me wait for a table for over an hour, would I expect a $70 gift card for an apology. Probably not. So, a a pass is required here as well.

Now that I am getting up in age, I had to find a family doctor. There are so many out there to choose from. Dr. Musgrave is great. He was a good choice. My wife and son see him as well. Dr. Musgrave is kind, energetic, and a good listener, he is understanding and very helpful. He takes the time to answer all your questions and is not trying to get out quickly just to move on to the next patient. He loves his job and wants to make his patients feel good when they leave his office. And all of his staff from the nurse to the front desk are very helpful. You wont go wrong with Dr. Musgrave and North Hills Family Medicine.

I have been to many doctors, bc I have frequently moved around a lot for work. Dr. Musgrave is the kindest Doctor I have met, and genuinely makes the patient feel as though he cares about your care. Most doctors give me the impression they are in a hurry and do not remember me from my last visit, however this is never the case with Dr. Musgrave. I have met numerous doctors in my life and I rank this one In the top.

He is a physician that listens better than anybody you will find. He really cares , and will address your concerns regarding medical treatment plan for most conditions or issues. Highly recommend for anybody seeking a doctor , as he is excellent for family practice and internal medicine. If you live in Keller or NRH, you really should consider him and his practice.
