I have been with Dr Prentiss since she was practicing at Baylor University Hospital. I find her to be an extremely great, intelligent, caring doctor. She manages your health very well, proving reports and ensuring you understand them and what it will take to fix that specific area of concern, as the report mentioned above from another review. She carefully analyzes what is needing to be done and puts a plan in place for you. You also have to do your part. She is not quick to place you on pills to resolve a problem that can be resolved through a change in diet. This is one aspect about her I appreciate about her. She is an excellent doctor providing excellent care and advise. I will be patient for however long God graces me with. I will drive to where ever her office may be for her services. And I dont do this for everyone. That says a lot. However, I do understand about arriving at the Dr Prentisss office for an appointment, first thing in the morning several times. Upon arrival, no staff was there to open and process patients for their appointments. Sat there for 30 minutes, knowing things come up for them as well. I have had to leave for work because I, too, am on a tight schedule as well. I have come to learn when I am setting an appointment to see her, I leave a message on her answering service with information pertaining to when I would like my appointment and approximant times available I would be available. I would have them leave a message on my cell, confirming the appointment had been arranged. Her assistance are great and helpful as well. Very personable. I do know, there was a serious unfortunate situation that had occurred with one of her staff, resulting in some unusual situations occurring and effecting her practice as well as a result. Be understand with others as you want others to be with you. Know what the situation is before jumping to conclusions. You would want someone to pay you the same curiosity. I really trust her fully with my health and assisting in making the right decisions for my lifes longevity. I went looking for this kind of doctor when I first arrived her for health care. I will remain a dedicated patient. Awesome, intelligent and sincerely caring doctors are hard to find anymore. She truly looks out for her patients, makes them informed, and provides top-notch care, a priority with her. I cant say enough about her. She has been a blessing to me.

First off let me say that Dr. Prentiss herself is wonderful. She appears to be a caring and thoughtful physician. It is disappointing to see her practice in such shambles. I had my physical done here roughly 6 months ago. The labs she ran were hands down impressive!! They were a 7 page report and in very fine detail, not to mention color coding! We made a follow up appointment to review the labs line by line and she made sure I understood what every reading was and how it affected my health. Here is where the disappointment comes in. We scheduled a 3 month follow up. As we got closer, I had to reschedule due to my travel with work. After several, I do mean several (ie 4+) phone calls trying to reschedule, I was finally able to speak to the front office. The appointment was on a Monday and I did receive a confirmation phone call on Friday, reminding me to fast. I drove to the office Monday morning for my appointment only to find the doors locked and lights off. I called the office several times and knocked on all windows and doors. Clearly I was forgotten about. Granted, there could have been an emergency in which Dr. Pretniss was not able to come in that day, however, where was my phone call? Where was the staff??? Long story longer- dont come here unless you have lots of time and patience to waste on an unprofessional practice. In turn, I am now looking for a new family physician, hopefully I can find someone as great as Dr. Prentiss, with a functioning office.

Great, absolutely wonderful, doctor and staff. However, you do have to be patient or else you can get fed up with the wait times. Dr. Prentiss spends her time with her patients, and takes her time getting to know them and actually talk to them and diagnose them. Be patient, and shell show the exact same attention to you. Im a senior in high school, and on recent appointments weve talked about the stress I feel when it comes to choosing a good college, deciding what to major in, and other things of the sort. She has taken time countless visits just to talk to me and make me feel like Im one of her close friends or family. I feel that Dr. Prentiss does truly care about her patients, because I see it with me. Ill wait hours if I have to, because its rare that you find that attention from other doctors.

Ive been seeing Dr. Prentiss for 13 plus years . She is a great Doctor and I couldnt ask for a better one . He staff is always helpful and courtesy . My wife and 3 out she of 4 of my kids go to her too . My youngest child will as soon as he is old enough too !!! I owe Dr . Prentiss a BIG THANK YOU . She has pulled me through a lot in the time Ive been gone no to her .

Shes great. The MA she has is real hard working. Dr.Prentiss is a no nonsense type of lady and shell tell you point blank what is or isnt wrong. Shes got a very nice atmosphere in her clinic. Recommend to all.
