I hate this place. My experience at the Largo location has been absolutely horrible. I arrived 5 minutes early for my appointment. Waited in the waiting room for 50 minutes before being called back. When I was called back I got undressed and waited in a room by myself for 35 minutes. I actually got redressed and walked back out because I was convinced that the staff which had poor attitudes (were gossiping loudly about patients in the waiting room) forgot about me. I was then reassured by the nurse that I wasnt forgotten about. I was seen by the doctor who was obviously rushing & my appointment only lasted 5 minutes. Actually calling this place is 10x worse than visiting though. You can definetely expect to be on hold multiple times during the conversation for periods of up to 15 minutes. I have been disconnected and hung up on by their rude receptionists multiple times. If they ever tell you that theyre going to call you back, theyre not. Its just a cop out because they dont want to talk to you. I have been calling for three days straight, each time being told that Im going to be called back by the end of the day, and never receiving a call. UPDATE: I was found and called by someone who I think is of higher management and she basically told me that the Moore practice couldnt have a someone who posted a bad review about them as a patient. She STRONGLY suggested multiple times (i told her no multiple times) to even help me transfer to a different doctors office because they couldnt have me as a patient. I explained to her multiple times that it would be a major inconvenience for me to change my obgyn doctor at this point in my life, but she was pressing very very hard and would not take no for an answer. God forbid you have an issue with this doctors office, because they will abruptly call you to dump you as a patient. Thanks for nothing Moore OBGYN

I wish I were exaggerating, but this was the worst experience Ive had at an OBGYN. I arrived a little less than 10 minutes before my appointment time and waited 45 minutes past the appointment time in the waiting room before being called back. The medical assistant was kind and personable, but I waited another 45 minutes in the room before the doctor rushed in. Not only did he not look at me until immediately before beginning his exam (which, granted, he talked me through and seemed nice enough), but when I was explaining my medical history to him, he brushed off several serious medical incidents as "totally normal" and something "every woman has." It was incredibly demoralizing and patronizing to be told my pain and trips to the emergency room were "totally normal" when a simple Google search can show that they are not. He spent less than 5 minutes in the room with me before breezing back out the door. I felt like my concerns about my health were totally ignored and I am seeing a different doctor at a different practice this month because I am so worried that he could have missed something in his rush. I get that they were having computer issues, but I dont think their problems should become carelessness at the possible expense of my health and fertility. I will never go back to this office.

I unfortunately didnt get to experience Dr.Moore as my OB/GYN I have only been to the Oxon Hill and Largo office, but the other doctor I have seems extremely knowledgeable. My only discontent with this office is they have one Hispanic receptionist/nurse assistant who just hasnt been polite... I have to take a deep breathe so I dont react negatively.. I really hope that they work with her in the near future. Everyone else in the Oxon Hill & Largo office is soooo nice & they are very professional. I am 9-10 weeks away from having my baby, so I hope that the delivery experience will be the same! This office has a great structure & convenient locations.

I absolutely despise this place. Oh my goodness!!!! As a new patient I sat in their waiting room for more than 30 mins. I even came 20 mins early for my appointment and still had to wait on the office staff that seemed all more interested in their personal conversations than checking me in. Even after being in the waiting room for 30 mins I then had to wait in the patient room for an additional 25mins just to have a Nurse practitioner come in to speak with me. I hate,hate , hate this place. No one seems to have a sense of urgency and patients are NOT a priority to them.

Dr. Javaka Moore Delivered My 4th Son August 21 2009 and it was the best pregnancy and Delivery for me!! Dr. Moore made each visit a great and comfortable experience. He often mentioned to me that I was a Pro at giving birth and being a Mother, he said I could catch my own babies, and I would often laugh at him, a very sweet and kind soul he is.
