Before coming to the school, I was in need of some serious dental work. I had no dental insurance at the time so I begin calling and checking with every dentist in my area to have the work done I needed. Every dentist I contacted were awfully expensive. When I learned of this dental school I was some what aseptic. I came in with the worse pain I had never had before, my tooth had broken down to the nerve along with other issues I didnt know I had. The students are moniterd by actual dentist. The student that worked on me did an awesome job and I was so amazed. For all the work I had done here at this dental school was 1/2 the the cost I would have had to pay a regular dentist. I give this place 5

Ella answered the phone after an extended hold. She mumbled, talked way to soft and was rude. I wanted the basic price for teeth cleaning. I was told, after several times of having to have her repeat her mumble, an $80.00 to $100.00 assessment would be done and that was the only price she would give me over the phone. I know I would definitely need an assessment, cleaning and some X-rays. I dont need the cost of the X-rays, just a cleaning cost, "No we do not give that out over the phone." My daughter is a physician, so I try and support the teaching environment, well sorry I will go back to my old dentist and take my "new to Houston area family" there also.

The students are super professional and SO SWEET! Bunch of great people. Not just the students that helped me, but I overheard the other students talking with other patients and they were all so nice and professional. The dentists looking over the students were also very kind and professional. It takes forever to get an assessment appointment unless you know someone already getting treatment there or going to school there... HOWEVER, once youre in... youre in!! Super happy with my choice.. and well worth the wait!!

I have had my daughters braces and retainer at their Orthodontist office on the third floor. Very Happy Very qualified and careful students Mind you these students are one year from Graduation.I have had a bridge and a two caps my dentist was overly cautious and had a professor sit in on the last visit that made her more confident and I am sure a wonderful dentist.

Dont go there unless emergency DO NOT surrender your self to their experiments, eventually the cost adding up and will be same if you doing it outside dentist.. wasting time and money, they dont care if it went wrong, they blame you and they will protect their students always.

But unfortunately, they are students, so i guess its safe to say that you get what you pay for, they take a lot longer than usual, you have to wait for the professor to come and critique the students work. The parking is very expensive but you

Great and friendly staff! I had been to 6 other dentists before them and I was still in pain.I came here and they had me out of pain within a few hours and on top of that their prices were great.I just wish I would have come here first!

Great place. The student are great here and will follow up with you time to time to check up on you and great sfaff as well. It can be pricey in time but worth it.
