I was referred to Dr. Kamenetsky by a coworker. I have recently relocated to Houston from Tulsa, Oklahoma and have a paper prescription for medication that can not be filled because it wasnt written on a Texas prescription pad. So, I simply needed to have a doctor review my medical records and issue a Texas prescription so that it could be filled. I dont have insurance as of yet but let the receptionist know my situation but she assured me that it would be no problem... even quoting me a cash price of between $150 and $200 for a consultation. She requested my fax number so that they could obtain my medical records from my former PCP but I waited nearly a week for the medical release document to be sent (should have been my first warning) and on the Friday before my Tuesday appointment I called again to request the fax... it was sent and I signed and returned it that afternoon. On the Tuesday of my appointment I took time off of work and drove to the Doctors office. When I arrived I was again asked what form of insurance I have... I reiterated that, just having started a new job, my benefits had not yet began. I was given a stack of paperwork to fill out which took a decent amount of time... When I finished the paperwork and returned it to the receptionist she informed me that the Doctor would not be able to see me because I do not yet have insurance. Despite the fact that I was perfectly capable and expecting to pay cash for the office visit. Now I am left to find another doctor and take more time off of work. There isnt enough time in the week as it is and to have someone waste a good chunk of an afternoon when all you are trying to do is be their customer is hard for me to swallow.

1st impression of office; I wasnt too sure about the front office but overall a positive experience with front office. Wait wasnt too long at all. Once called back didnt wait more than 5 minutes and doctor came back. Bedside manner was EXCELLENT. The visit was not rushed at all. She was very patient with the million questions I had. I am going to continue seeing her as my PCP. She was great. I have referred her to my co-workers and they as well share the same sentiment. They call back when they say they are and that was impressive. So many physicians offices have terrible follow-up and this was not the case with Dr. Kamenetskys office.

I had a positive experience with Dr Kamenetsky on my first visit. I went for an annual physical and found her to be efficient, knowledgeable and thorough-- she really covered everything I needed, including refilling my prescriptions. I didnt feel rushed, which is a plus these days. You can access your lab results through her online portal, and also email directly with her. Her staff is busy, but I didnt have any problem making the appointment. The waiting area is pleasant, and the overall wait was not long. My impression is that Ill be in good hands with Dr Kamenetsky as my PCP.

This doctor took money from my wife during her doctors appointment. They also took money from the insurance company. When my wife called them and asked for her money back, they lied about it. It took them 8 months and they just refunded the money back to the insurance company - not my wife! We spent hours on the phone with the insurance company and this doctors office.

Office staff was very pleasant didnt have to wait long to be seen once in the back Dr was very punctual and thorough and professional i wish I would found her way sooner I give her and her staff a 5+
