They turned away my sick dog because they were "fully booked". Im from out of town and visiting due to a funeral in a few hours and despite my dog throwing up over 8 times this morning, its not considered enough of an emergency to be seen. I prefer going to Banfield because we have a Wellness Plan for our dog. The girl at the front told me I can come back tomorrow, but doesnt recommend I wait that long for him to get checked. What.....? She said take him to the 911 Pet Doctor, which also has terrible reviews and will squeeze every dime out of you. The only help that I did receive was that she called the other Banfield to see if they were accepting emergencies....they werent. Whats the point of paying for a Wellness Plan with Banfield if they cant even take your sick pets?

If there was option to rate this establishment with zero stars I would do so. You should seriously remove "Walk-ins are always welcome" from your website. Not once have they welcomed me as a walk-in. Banfield should not be called a hospital because they are not there to take care of emergencies, and to my understanding, that is what a hospital does. My pet was dying and I was desperate, I called Bandfield around 9AM and all they did was refer me to an emergency clinic. I drove with my unconscious dog about 30 minutes to have him seen at emergency hospital when Banfield is about 5 minutes away from my house. Luckily my dog survived. I have two pets on the Wellness Plans and you bet I will not be renewing.

It is so inconvenient that it is only by appointments only. I was there recently and I wanted to vaccinate the new puppy I adopted and I ask the lady at the front desk and gave her my puppy vaccination card. She looked at it like it was out of these world then proceeded to tell me it would be about 100 dollars for the other vaccines. I was willing to pay the price but when I told her she looked at me like I was crazy and said " Oh no we can not do it today it is only by appointment only and we dont have openings until like next wednesday ".

I have gone there 3 times,( 2x for a dog & once for a cat), excellent service, very nice, caring people. The office visit is half of the cost of a regular vet. Maybe the person who wrote the bad review did not want to wait his turn, because even though an hour is a wait, perhaps there was a full schedule. I have waited much longer than that are a medical doctors office before. This location has a wonderful staff & my first visit was with a free consultation coupon, which is available from the Banfield website.

I had a horrible experience I have a new puppy and tried to get him is rabies shot and the lady at the front desk was very rude and told me that she was not going to take my dog that it was by appointment only. I then asked her since when has this been in effect, and she replied sarcastically "since 5 years that I have been working here". I proceeded to tell her that last year it was not like this. I WILL NEVER GO BACK TO THAT LOCATION!!!!!!!!

I believe the animals are treated well, but when you bring the pet in at 8:30 & are told that shell be first after the surgeries are complete to find she is 21st on the list, Im a little upset. We pay insurance through Banfield every month & she still wasnt ready by noon.

The veterinarians are extremely helpful and friendly. Took my kitten in to get vaccinated and everyone was so kind and gave me insightful tips. FYI, on tuesdays from 2-3 pm their consultations are free of charge; so big money saver.
