I just wanted to inform you of how unsatisfied I am with my ER visit tonight. I have a csf leak and Chiari Malformation. I came in tonight due to my csf leak was so bad the back of my head and neck was swollen. I requested multiple times for a LP to be done. So the could drain the excess spinal fluid to relieve some of the pressure I was feeling. The doctor refused to do one. During her examination she never even touched the location. She just looked at it from 3 feet away and said yeah I can see the swelling. She ordered an MRI ( csf leaks dont usually show up in MRIs) then told me she didnt see anything admitted to me they dont really show in a MRI. Then told me I should go to unc next time and to follow up with my Neuro. When all that she needed to do was a L.P. which would have shown the pressure in my spine was to high and the spinal tap would have drained the excess fluid. So I have now been discharged and the whole back of my head is still swollen and Im still in pain. Now after spending all night here at this joke of a hospital I have to go to unc where I can actually get treated. Yalls staff really needs to learn how to listen to patients. I could understand if I came in demanding for pain medication but I came in asking for a needle to be put into my spine to drain the fluid. Only someone who is truly hurting and in a lot of would do that!

Ive taken my wife there twice, with a 2 year span between. Both times, the ER staff were unhelpful, unresponsive and as non-concerned about actually treating any of the patients that were overflowing the waiting room, as a self-claiming medical center could be. The first time, my wife was having severe chest pains and had an irregular heartbeat. We waited in the waiting room for 6 hours before giving up and driving her to Wake Med. in Raleigh. As we were leaving, we were told that if we actually wanted to get seen in a timely manner, then we should call 911 (EMS) from the street and have an ambulance bring us in the door. The second time, she had 2nd and 3rd degree burns from a cooking accident, and was given no pain management, no care at all while being forced to wait in a standing-room-only public waiting room. After several hours yet again, I resorted to taking my wife to Wake Med in Raleigh. This medical center might as well be shut down for the amount of treatment given.

Went here to deliver my twins. The labor and delivery nurses were beyond amazing. However, other than that I had a horrible experience. They did NOT feed my newborn at all! We were there Friday until Monday because one of my newborns would fall asleep while breastfeeding so they kept us an extra day. I am not sure why they kept us an extra day as I did not get a breast pump until Monday and I told them they could supplement with formula in the mean time since he kept falling asleep on the breast. Did they even attempt formula? NO! My child was not fed by them at all. Only brought him in once at night to eat and did nothing when I said he kept falling asleep. Got discharged on Monday, only to be sent to Greenville on Tuesday because his temperature dropped, his blood sugar was low, and he wasnt eating. Because of this hospital, my child was sent to Greenville. It breaks my heart every time I think about my stay here. Completely awful.

I would like to know where to go get treatment when needed and not have to worry about how the ER staff treats you. Especially in this case when I went there with a dislocated hip that has a spacer in it and you lay there for an he or two before a nurse comes in to see you and they order x-rays and 4 hrs later the nurse comes in and tells you sorry but we are not gonna touch you and ten min later the Dr comes in and says Im not touching you either. And we are sending you out of here.. first off .i would like to know why Drs are allowed to treat mentally challenged people anyway they want to and get away with it. I have never seen something like this. I guess that is why they call this the band aid hospital. . Why do I have to lay here with a dislocated hip all night.

I have never been to an Er where Drs are the most ignorant and the rudest people I have ever seen . I went last Sat and a few days later where one Dr said he didnt know I had an idea the other said I had this when clearly I didnt and my bw was normal. I am gonna pursue this after I am going to need surgery. I hope someone reads this cause I am damn sure someone is going to hear about it. They need to either be fired or shut this place down. ALL I CAN SAY IS THEY ARE A BUNCH OF MORONS . Maybe the person who lets these Drs keep their jobs needs to be fired as well. Only thing they will give you if you cut you cut your finger if is a band aid for your toe..

I just surveyed this hospital and found their passion for the community and the care they provide to the cardiovascular patient to be truly top-notch. They are committed to service and committed to this community of people. They have pushed themselves to grow programs, to train, and educate staff, to support and use guideline driven medical therapy in the most efficient and up to date way. This is where you need to go for your heart care in Wilson County. I would bring any member of my family to this hospital for care. They are an excellent representation of the LifePoint process and commitment to "Making Communities Healthier"

I went to the ER today for shortness of breath. They did blood work and didnt find anything. When the doctor came in to tell me everything seemed normal, i asked him where the shortness of breath could be coming from. He says "I dont know maam, anxiety!" He was very rude and he does not have any bedside manner. My nurse was excellent and i voiced my concerns to her. I have an arrhythmia disorder so i know i dont have anxiety. He just didnt want to answer my questions. He brushed me off to get rid of me. This happens to me ALL the time when i come here.

Everyone at this hospital went above and beyond for my son! The kindness and compassion was so sincere. They truly made not only my son but my husband and myself feel at ease during and about the procedure. Vicky was our nurse and she was awesome! Dr. Davis performed the surgery. He was very informative and did a wonderful job. This place really cares for their patients! I was so thankful they kept us informed about everything and it made this entire process easy. A big thank you to everyone there!

Nancy C. at the check in is RUDE, DISRESPECTFUL, and straight up IGNORANT. I have never felt so disrespected in my life. This woman needs to be fired! I spoke to 4 other people sitting in the waiting room and all of them expressed that she was rude to them. How does she have a job in customer service? The hospital should be ashamed of themselves for choosing her to be the face of E.R. I will NEVER be back to this location, I would much rather drive an hour to Raleigh!
