Summary: better go somewhere else (like NOVAs Ashburn office). Ive been here in the past, but not last few years when they opened Ashburn office, which is more convenient location and bigger office. Today I was pressed hard since I damaged one of the moles on my back and needed to see specialist who would remote it FAST. Ashburn office did not have any specialist to remove a mole, so I calles a Sterling location and after keeping me on hold for few minutes they told "YES we do have a specialist , please come at 3:30 pm". Receptionist was very fast&efficient in extracting my insurance information and getting my copay charged. Then I had to WAIT for over an hour for the preset appointment time. Once I was finally admitted, the friendliness of staff was sub-par at the best (and dont get me wrong, Im very spartan in my ambitions in this regard). Finally, doctor came in and told me up front SHE IS NOT LICENSED to remove mole. Then I learned it is not a mole at all but a "skin mark" and my insurance would not cover it and so on... Ok, I got it that insurance might not cover it (still debatable, as it is quite pigmented), but telling your patient waiting for you more than an hour that she is not even licensed to do this service ??? What kind of practice is it ? Ok... I have to think better about people... let me assume it is kind of practice where they are completely disorganized and one hand does not know what another does... Still, do you really want to go for such a service ? And by the way, they did not even want to hear about refund! Ive learned something for $15 paid this time... hoped to be taken care of, but will have to go for other doctor instead.

I went there in February of 2017 with a very severe cold and they did not prescribe any medication. 2 weeks later I went to my regular doctor who prescribed a Z-pack (antibiotic) and a steroid because my cold had turned into severe bronchitis. I went there again in May for another issue and the doctor only prescribed 2 days of antibiotics even though I told her I was going out of town and needed enough to get my through my trip- turns out the typical treatment is 10 days of antibiotics and guess who got sick on their vacation??? I did. I called on vacation to ask for a refill and they denied my request. It was a very tough plane ride home. I called to complain to the office manager and she made a lot of excuses at first but eventually agreed that I was mismanaged. 1 star is a generous score. They are terrible. Do not go there if you require medication in order to get better.

Great racket they have going. I went in with symptoms of a head cold/sinus infection and was told it was too early in the cycle to prescribe anything. Week goes by and I get worse and develop new symptons. I call back in to see if now antibiotics can be called in but was told they wont without seeing me again. That means another $75 copay. Great scheme they have going there. Do yourself a favor and wait to see your primary care physician or wait until about 5 days of being sick before theyll consider giving you medicine.

Nice but efficient. I have been here many times over the past 3 years Ive lived in Northern Virginia, and I have received great service every time. I actually prefer this location over others Ive been to in Ashburn and Leesburg, partly because Sterling has an X-Ray machine (unlike those other 2 locations). Ive had a lot of weird accidents in the past couple years, and its nice to come here without having to later travel to another location (or a hospital) just to get an X-Ray.

Triage nurse took us back quickly and doctor saw us within 15 minutes on a Sunday afternoon. We were done and out within an hour - which is more than I can say for the Inova Emergency Center we visited that took 2 1/2 hours for an infected finger and case of strep. Clean, efficient, and pleasant. The doctor came out from treating my husband and gave treats to the children for being well mannered. Very kind. (X-ray capabilities only 3/week, No CT or MRI capabilities.)

Office was efficient and not too cumbersome. Doctors and nurses seemed kind of new, but I think that is a plus sometimes. My issues wasnt too complicated, but it is nice to visit a place that can get you in an out in hour vs just waiting an hour before you are even seen. Would recommend this place to others

This place gives the runaround horrible billing practices. Theyd rather you pay out of pocket. All they have to do is say the primary care physician and they dont have to pay the co-pay They wouldnt even give out a Narcan pen or spray. Very non logical and scary to put your life in the hands of.

Very convenient location and business hours. Very clean and modern facility. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Reasonable prices and waiting time. Doctors here will meet all your medical needs. I’ll recommend Nova Urgent Care to all my friends. It’s a Super Nova!!!

The wait time at this place is ridiculous. If you have a severe condition and are looking for "Urgent" assistance dont bother. They will make you wait extremely long for assistance. Youre better off going to a general hospital.

Sterling location is closer to home and work, plus I always get in and out quickly. The staff is always courteous and even laughs at my jokes! Thanks for being there.
