> Subject: I had an incident on [04/23/2014] and went to the doctor at RightTime Medica Care, where I have not been treated for the purpose properly, instead my situation got worse. > Incident: I accidentally shot a BB gun pellet into my palm. I read some online forums and came to know that it is not a big deal but still I wanted a second opinion and went to Right Time Emergency center. I guess it was my bad decision to select that place. I took an appointment and got to the place. They made few checkups like BP, Pulse and temperature and then took couple of X-Rays. The Doctor saw the X-Ray and said the pellet is superficial and can get it off from my palm. As he did not give me any other options I thought its a sure shot process. Had I known that there is no sure possibility to get the pellet out, I would have taken the decision not to go ahead with the surgery. He started his treatment on me by sedating me and then cutting my palm. He then digged into it for a while to find the bullet and suddenly he left the room leaving my wound open for 10-15 minutes. I had no idea whats going on. After 15 minutes another doctor came in and he continued to treat me. He digged inside the cut using a needle and still couldnt find it. And finally guess what, he said it is actually ok to leave the bullet in my hand as that is just a BB bullet and it is in the palm. Had I known that it is ok to leave the pellet inside, I would not have gone through the surgery. Then he said he will stitch it back. I went to a hospital with a very little wound and finally the purpose did not get solved instead he made it big and got stitches in my hand. The reason anyone goes to a doctor is because he will guide them, Treat them and give them the best choices that they can choose from or if they dont have a choice they expect the doctor to talk to them about the after affects and then start the treatment. Instead he did not say anything in the first place, Started the treatment by cutting my hand and finally when he was not able to finish what he started then he said it is actually ok to leave the bullet in my hand and he said if he was me he definitely wont take the choice of taking it out. Then why didnt he tell me that in the very beginning. I expect a doctor to tell me the following: 1. There are 50% chances of taking the bullet out and that he can proceed if I want to 2. Tell me in the beginning that it is ok to leave the pellet in my hand and give me a choice to pick either to leave it there or to cut open and try to remove. Instead he took his choice on me in both the cases which is wrong and finally said its the bad choice he made and he said he will learn from this mistake. As soon as this happened we spoke to the manager [Oneeka H] over there and explained the whole situation and as she partially witnessed it and also she heard from me and the doctors she said she spoke to some one that can help me and they were ok to do resolve the situation if I can send them an email. I am not ready to pay even a single penny out of my pocket for this disaster and for the mistake that doctors did whom I really trusted . But, even after I communicated with the manager, my insurance has been charged by Righttime Medical Care and they also want me to pay the deductible.

I hurt my hand and this was my first visit. I injured myself at work and gave the information to the woman at the desk first thing. She gave me the forms to fill out but since I had my own information, did not enter it on the forms because I thought that they would know what to do. My first impressions of the place was that it didnt seem like a doctors office, but a public storefront with a marketed image and implanted office workers who may as well have been former employees of Blockbuster for their level of customer service skills and usefulness. It has warm colors and a tv with good customer reviews and other stupid medical trivia playing. There was no smile, and weak interaction on their part because they would barely acknowledge you. For that reason alone I probably wouldnt go back. After completing the check-in process and waiting a bit I was seen. At the time that I went I didnt actually wait that long. My experience with the medical staff was good. They were very warm and attentive. But the front desk was not on point in running the place, and I was not impressed. I went back out for the check-out process. There was a gathering of people waiting to see the 1 or 2 doctors available. There were other people who were unhappy and frustrated. They just gave reassurances, oh yes its ok without really problem-solving and offering practical assistance. I asked again about paperwork to make sure they had all the information they needed to process the claim. We made a copy. I wanted to make sure that it was going to be processed that way. I never saw them make any copies and I TOLD them. The forms were given back to me and she told me to take them with me when I went into the exam room. Which I explained to the manager, who was rude and directive and her form of customer service is to shut people down so they wont bother them. They dont care. I was brushed aside and blown off. The woman in was having a hard time with the robots. a mother wanted to verify dosage, and they just referred to the paperwork and said if thats what it says its right. As if it couldnt be a simple mistake of transposed numbers? She never double-checked with the doctor which is all the lady wanted. Who cares. Later the third-party billing company called me because THEY didnt have any info for me for the claim! Even though I was given every assurance by the mock staff. And DID get a bill in the mail anyway, which I told them I DIDNT want to get. They didnt have their act together in there and I can get better service ordering a damn cup of coffee from 7-11 than with this place, who it seems would provide much more. Ive been to other outpatient facilites and it was fine. I will never go back. Its already an ordeal to be hurt or sick, but they made it almost punishment.

STAY AWAY! This place is a complete JOKE! I walked in, the place was empty, no patients [this shouldve been the 1st sign]. After filling out the registration forms, then confirming and CORRECTING the information in a tablet and answering some medical questions in the same tablet, they told me "walk down to the end of the hall, make a left and sit out in front of door #5" [this shouldve been the 2nd sign - the professional way is having someone escort me]. I sat there for about another 15 minutes, got called to room 7, the girl took my vitals. She then said go out to the left, and look for room 4 and wait in there for the doctor to come [this shouldve been the 3rd sign]. I waited for about or over 30 minutes, during that time just listening to numerous of females (employees) talking loudly, laughing, cursing, and having a great time as if this wasnt a clinic and more like a social bar [this shouldve been the 4th sign]. After waiting all that time, I walked back around to the front and asked the girls in the front if by chance I was forgotten. One answered "no, the doctor just finished stitching someone else, hell be right over to your room", I said "thank you" and went back to my room. I waited again over 30 minutes, waaaalked back to the front, and asked how long will the doctor be? The same girl answered back annoyed and with an attitude, "well youre just going to have to wait. Hes now on the phone, and I dont know how long hes going to be". I quickly looked at her name badge and read "Stephanie JM, Care Manager". THE SIRENS AND LIGHTS WENT OFF!! THIS WAS SIGN #5 AND FINAL!!! I asked to please obtain an invoice or paper stating that I did NOT receive service, and I did not want my insurance to be billed. Stephanie sighed, sucked her teeth, and said "well theres nothing I can give you, you can just walk out, and there will be no bill since youre walking out and not waited for the doctor". I wish she is right. I told her "I cannot continue waiting as you cannot tell me how much longer I have to wait. I left my job to seek help here and have only lost time and receive poor service and attitude" and I walked out. I swear, if I ever needed medical attention and they are my only hope, I would first go pop my trunk and get out my first aid kit and aid myself. My odds to live would be higher. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!!
