Dr. Chang and his staff are very experienced in the hair transplant procedure. I am in my 20s with minor hair loss towards the front and went to Dr. Chang to get the bald area "touched up". The entire procedure and recovery was smooth and painless. Dr. Chang and his staff really care about their patients and make sure they are having a good time during the procedure, including showing a music videos and movies while they do the work. I am very happy with the results. Even my hair salon was impressed and asked me for Dr. Changs contact information. My father also went to Dr. Chang ten years ago for a very large surface area of hair transplant and he looks awesome now. Like the other reviewers said, Dr. Chang is very honest and provides competitive pricing for the surgery. I would definitely recommend Dr. Chang and his staff to people with hair loss problems.

I had two surgeries total 1800 single follicular unit at another clinic at San Diego in 2006. But result was very thin and far away from what I was looking for. I went to NHT medical for my 3rd surgery. I was told I need 50 to 60% density to achieve my goal. The coverage area was 64 cm square start from hairline, donor was removed 20 cm square, it end up increase 30% density in one surgery. During the surgery I received total 1024 bi-follicular unit. I am very happy with the result, I received the fullness and density is much more that the previous two 1800 Single follicular unit surgeries. And never have anyone is able to detect I had hair transplant done. Dr. Chang’s mix size graft method,(depend on patients need, use different graft size) gave me not only what I was looking for but save me a lot of time and money.

OK its been 7 or 8 months now since the operation. The coverage wasnt what I expected at all and plus now I have to deal with scars that wont heal! I wish I can go back in time than go cheap with something this important. Now where can I go to fix these horrible scars around my hairline?

Wonderful experience. Had a procedure 5 years ago 2007 and have a perfectly natural hairline. The procedure was painless and recovered quick without a problem. I am going back again for another area to be done and all of the same staff is there. DR. Steven Chang is highly recommended.
