WHY WOULD ANYONE GIVE THE ER A MORE THEN ONE STAR? I was woken up at 1:15a to a sharp stabbing pain to my lower groin I waited a hour until I could not take it anymore. Got to the ER around 3:00ish. Dude at check in desk looked annoyed as I walked in, he was very unprofessional and rude, didnt even let me talk and to say I walked in is putting it lightly, I was doubled over in pain as if someone stabbed me. So he took my vitals and with his back turned to me told me to take a seat in the lobby, he didnt even offer me any assistance to walk back . 5 minutes later a caucasian women walked in, looking as bad as me, then 10 minutes later he brings her a wheel chair. I thought, wow I guess Latinas do not get the special treatment. As he put the other lady in lobby he glanced over at me, probably saw my facial expression and he must of thought better get her a wheel chair too. I waited overall 20 minutes in lobby. FYI, there was almost no patients in that ER, I was 1 of 4. The restrooms are filthy. Stained blankets. Nurse yanked out IV with no gloves and my blood spilled out down my arm. In the room, the nurse had an I dont care attitude, took blood and urine, but no pain medication for over an hour, the room was like the Antarctic and it was like pulling teeth to get blankets. The Nurse saw me wearing my jacket over my gown and didnt offer one. Until my daughter complained. I didnt see the ER doc until almost 2 hrs later just to go over my symptoms. 2 hrs later more testing. Waited another 4 hrs no doctor, my daughter started to complain again. Next came in a different ER doctor because the previous one left her shift was over. Come to find out all the wait was for my ultrasound results that no one followed up on until the last hour. In the last hour in the ER the second doctor ordered additional labs that needed to be sent out? Came back to see me stating I am sending you home with Norco, no antibiotics and no diagnosis of what was going on with me and I quote, you need to go over the additional labs and discuss with the PCP the diagnose, because they cannot figure out why I am in pain now, even after 10 flipping hours, labs, CT, XRay, & Ultrasound in the ER. Paid $150. Copay, I went home in tears and in pain, even now as I write this the pain is unbearable. Norco at 325mg is not helping. I went to this ER on Friday, now will be in pain until Monday to follow up with my PCP. SMH! You best believe I have no faith in those ER doctors medical expertise. Not a great impression of Kaiser being I am a first time patient. Warning if you have any emergency, dont let them do to you what they did to me! It was a waste of money and time. You been warned.

Went into the hospital on Tuesday night with neck pain from a blunt impact. All was fine until I was released. After x-rays and a scan, the doctor told me that I broke one of my vertebrae. I was told I would be contacted by a specialist, and sent on my way with no pain medication prescription. I have yet to be contacted by this specialist, and was told that the doctor never actually noted on my record that I need to be seen by a specialist after breaking my neck. Edit: stay away from Dr. Marquette if you go to the ER here. Was on the phone for hours yesterday trying to set up an appointment and was told a specialist would call me this morning. A primary care doctor called instead. She was very helpful and answered some of my questions. However, i was lied to when I was told it was a phone appointment with a SPECIALIST. This is all because Dr. Marquette sent me on my way without answering my questions about after care, and expected me to drive from Irvine to Downey with a broken neck bone for a damn appointment.

My father is a cancer patient, and I have to say that all of the staff at Kaiser are quite impressive -- even on my fathers HMO-type plan. Weve been in the E.R. and admitted to the hospital for several days at a time, and Im always pleased with the attention my father is getting. The staff, at all levels, is patient and professional. The hospital has a nice touch -- every time a new baby is born, a melody plays over the sound system. When youre surrounded by so much pain & suffering, it actually is comforting when the melody plays -- its uplifting in some way. I hope to be a Kaiser member some day.

My daughter is having her baby here. Im here to enjoy the moment. When leave, i parked in the handycapped parking.my battery is dead. I have the hood up and standing by the rear of my car cane in hand for 3hrs. Not one person stopped to help. I see a sceri person driving around so i flagged him down. He told me against pilicy to give a jump. This tells me alot about kaiser.pretty sad when people give up helping people. Oh i thought that why kaiser was in bussiness to help people.guess not ib Irvine.

Worst care, I had gotten strong meds that put me to sleep after an allergic reaction to one of there medications, I was woken up and tolled I could leave, when I was clearly out of it, dont remember calling my husband, but he said I did, because all I can remember was waking up at home. What if I had wondered off? My husband said I was in the lobby and it was clear that i didnt know what was going on. They should make sure there patient is well enough to go before making them leave the hospital..

I had a collision with one of kaiser vehicle in Novamber first The guy how was driver gave me wrong information about their insurance he knew that I cant speak english well. When I went to Member Services of kaiser for help There was tow blond woman they didnt care and didnt help My car insurance doesnt support under 1000 $ damage. I have photo of driver licence only And know the name of the driver of kaiser vehicle but no one helped me.

Kaiser is beyond disgusting! They severely injured me during my surgery and then abandoned my care so they wouldnt get sued. I was left in severe pain and am now permanently disabled. I will be homeless soon because I cant work. Be aware, if a medical error happens to you, they will assemble their law team, doctors will abandon you, tell you there was no error, and it is all in your head. The oath "Do No Harm" doesnt apply to Kaiser.

I was in this hospital last year to remove my gall bladder. Dr. Henry Hwu and his staff did great job. Thank you very much Dr. Hwu and staff. I appreciate all of you so much. The room was clean and everyone was nice. I like this hospital very much except one problem. My cell phone simcard was stolen when I was in the bathroom. So, I give this hospital 4 stars.

If you have cancer and are stage 4 their main goal is to have you in hospice and not treat you. Several drs in er denied my father health treatments that would make his battle with cancer easier. If a person is not done giving up on life you shouldnt force them to. Nurses are great but the main drs are jerks with no conscience
