READ THIS FIRST AND CONSIDER YOURSELF WARNED: Regardless of whether the doctors or counselors in this office treat you well doesnt matter because the office manager and office staff are horrible. I wish Id read reviews here before interacting with this place. I was told a price for appointments and then they changed it after Id been seen twice. This was resolved after I presented them with the fact that I was told an amount in writing (email.) Now, months later they are sending me a 60 day notice for $5 because they didnt go back and adjust the amount of the second appointment. I over paid by $5, but because they overcharged me $10 they want to send me a 60 day notice for it, without any previous notification. I was even there in person and paid for an appointment since then and no one said anything about it. The whole experience left me feeling like I was dealing with a shady business. I have still never received a single bill or statement, or receipt of payment for that matter. Extremely unprofessional and carelessly run office. I will not be back, unless this location is looking to hire a new office manager, because I happen to be qualified. At the end of the day I was able to explain that I do not owe them anything and they agreed to change my balance to 0.00. So...they still have the $5.00 that I actually overpaid. No worries about sending me that when its owed to me. But theyre sure going to the trouble to send me a notice when they think I owe them 5 bucks. Save yourself the headache and avoid this place. ***Update: They did, months later, and after it "got lost in the mail" eventually send me my own five dollars back in exchange for an agreement that I would update this review.****

I would give Wendy Carannante 10 stars if I could. We have been seeing Dr. Wendy for 3 years. Our daughter was struggling in 1st grade and the teachers were wavering on academic testing. Our daughter attends private school so the cost was on us. We did some research and found a Dr. in Stafford. Her fee was $5,000. We had no idea that was exorbitant. The teachers waivered again and we cancelled. The teachers came back again asking for an academic assessment. Their confusion caused us a lot of frustration, so we looked locally and found Mindful Health online. We were STUNNED by her low fee. The lowest we found for the same testing was in northern Va for $1850. The appointments were easily scheduled and Wendy was amazing for our daughter. Our daughter started with THREE learning disabilities. Under Wendys recommendations and our schools willingness to follow them, our daughter has flourished and her self esteem has increased (despite a rough second grade teacher). She now has one disability to go and I have no doubt Wendy will help her knock that out in no time at all. When we presented our report to our school the first time they asked for Wendys information because this was "The best academic assessment we have ever seen." I believe they have referred several other families in our school to her as well. We will continue to come yearly and we trust Wendy implicitly. She truly cares for her patients and our daughter feels comfortable with her. I cant say enough good things. She has truly made an enormous difference in our childs life.

****Please read this review before you make an appointment!***** I did not research any reviews before making an appointment with Karin Weber of Mindful Health. I, like other reviewers before me, suffered the same poor service from Ms. Weber. The few sessions I did have with her were unproductive. I did not feel she was very helpful. Additionally I was recently informed I have an outstanding balance for a "missed" appointment I am required to pay. You will note, other reviewers have a similar complaint of being charged for "missed" appointments. Apparently this is standard operating procedure for Ms. Karin Weber. Yet on one occasion, she called me the same morning of my appointment to cancel my session. That apparently is okay with this office. When I contacted the office to dispute the charge, I was never able to get through to a live person. I always had to leave messages. Yesterday I received a letter in the mail from Mindful Health in response to those messages. Surprisingly all the letter contained was a single page of the agreement I signed with the "missed appointment charge section" highlighted and underlined. If this is what passes for customer service at this business, they need to go back to school and learn the meaning of customer service. I can not recommend this business and/or Ms. Karin Weber in particular to anyone who values their time and money.

My oldest has been seeing Karin Weber for about a year. They have developed a great bond of trust and respect and I have seen him mature and grow as she has taught him many “tools” on how to deal with ADHD. His temper was getting him in trouble at school and at home and is virtually non-existent now. He makes the honor roll and embraces school and respect for his teachers. As parents we do everything we can do provide the structure and lessons for our kids but sometimes it takes a 3rd party to bring it all together and for that, we are very grateful for Ms. Karin. My youngest started seeing Dr. Sarah Lyall about 5 months ago. He struggles with a high-level of anxiety and worry – to the point of getting sick. He really enjoys his time with Ms. Sarah and can’t wait for each visit to see what new game they will play and what his “homework” will be after his session. I can tell already the difference she is making in his life and specifically with his coping strategies and alternate thoughts. As with so many families in these times, our lives are full and over-scheduled and we often don’t slow down to say “thank you”. So this post is to say “thanks” and express on behalf of our family that we are very blessed to have people like Ms. Karin and Ms. Sarah in our circle.
HI
Hi Hi
This is the worse office I have ever dealt with. Within the first month of going there, I showed up for my sons appointment and was told the counselor/therapist, Karen Webber, had doubled booked by mistake and that they were sorry. On both occasions, I missed a half day of work but they didnt care. I brought my son for months and never got anywhere with any actual help. Each appointment, she did the same thing over and over. When my son missed his appointment because the school bus broke down they charged me $50.00 even though I called and it was out of my control to get him to his appointment. They mess up two appointments and I lose a days pay - it is "too bad" but I am unable to get my son there and it is pay $50. Go to a place that truly cares for you and your family and not just trying to rip you off. The staff is horrible. Never return phone calls. You can never get in touch with a live person. Pathetic office. Update: I received a call from the owner who tried to explain away the incompetence of the staff and therapists but unfortunately for her it was impossible to do. She said she would follow up with her staff and call me the following day - of course no call back. She asked me to please edit my review which is exactly why I am writing this update.
