My insurance company changed, and I had to find a new dentist. This was my first time going to Brident, and it was by far the WORST dental visit I have ever had. The only friendly staff member was the dentist. He was the only one who introduced himself. Everyone else would just come in and out of my cleaning area and not say anything. My appointment was scheduled for 9:30 am. I showed up 10 minutes early to fill out any paperwork, and yet I still was not seen until 10:15 am, and that was just by the x-ray technician. At 10:45 am, I met the dentist for the first time, after filling out yet even more paperwork. I chose not to have any fillings completed at this time, because no way did I go from having great teeth 6 months ago at my regular dentist office, to needing 8 fillings. The secretary got rude and told me that I needed to fill out, of course, more paperwork. What? Why? As Im reading the paperwork, I ask her questions and all she says to me is that I have refused all service. I told her that I said I did not want to schedule any fillings to be completed, not that I did not want to complete my visit to have my teeth cleaned. She then sighed, which was completely rude, instead of just apologizing for misunderstanding me. Then she had me sign another form starting now that I actually want a cleaning and that now I am a walk-in. Really? I had an appointment for 9:30 am. Then the cleaning technician comes in and tells me that I must move rooms. Why? It just did not make any sense and not one staff member would say what was going on. Everyone was just extremely rude. Then I waited in my new exam room until 11:15 am to see the exact same dentist to do my cleaning. Does this office not have technicians who do the cleanings? I was told that they only had one dentist, which is crazy for him to have to see each patient to go over x-rays, plus he cleans their teeth. No wonder they run extremely behind. He cleaned my teeth in less than 15 minutes, and I was just extremely disappointed in the amount of time he spent. He did not even floss! Why? Was he just trying to cut steps because he was too busy? I asked the technician if they floss teeth, especially since I could see floss on the dental tray, and she said that it was not necessary, so the dentist chose not to. This entire experience was just extremely disappointing. I told the receptionist that I did not want to make a follow-up 6 month appointment, and she told me that I had to, and that I could choose to cancel it. If a patient says that they do not want an appointment, then an appointment should not be made. I will never go back to this office, and I will make sure that I tell everyone I know how awful my experience was. Brident needs to understand how valuable their patients are, and work extremely hard to be friendly and efficient, if they ever plan to keep any of their patients.

Brident Dental in Hurst has been nothing but trouble since day one, they are so unprofessional, they make promises that they dont keep, no one knows nothing and you end up wasting your time and energy. I scheduled a appointment to have a procedure done for my daughter and the referral information was faxed over to them and they said they never got. Sat there waiting for over an hour to be told you have to go back where you got your braces and have them to remove the wire before we can do ex-rays even though my doctor had sent them over and they knew she had braces. Came back for another appointment had the wire removed and they set up everything. The lady ran my insurance and said that it was denied so I left. My insurance sent me a letter letting me know why they denied it: Brident tried to have approved some dentures and crowns for my 11 yr. old daughter. I went up there and they argued with me about it and then another lady came over and sent the insurance the correct information. So, now it has been approved and the surgery appointment is set. The day of surgery they get my daughter ready applied the meds to nom her mouth. The surgeon walked in and looked at her ex-rays and said no Im not doing that procedure on her, you need to wait until she is a little bit older and he walked out. But, when you did the pre-op you said everything is good and ready to go after you looked her. I wasted 3 days back and forth with them for nothing. I called the corporate office about everything that was going on. Made a report and they said someone will follow up with you in 3 days, no one ever called. I called back and they gave me the run around. If they offered free dental service for my dog I still wouldnt go back.

My son had all four of his wisdom teeth surgically removed yesterday. He also was told he needed to have synthetic bone replacement due to the position of his teeth. They only gave him local anesthetic, even though they were removing ALL four and they replaced the synthetic bone. They didnt give him enough post surgery card instruction and refused to let his girlfriend back to be with him during the surgery. After all this work was completed, they sent him (without ice packs) to a pharmacy that didnt even have the medication they were supposed to have called in for. He had to wait over 3 hours total before receiving the right prescription at another pharmacy, while bleeding excessively on his shirt. Needless to say, his pain level was on 10 (the local anesthetic wore off 15 min. after he left) when he left the pharmacy and had to wait after two doses for medication to work. When I called to get help with the prescription, they put me on hold for 22 min. at which point I called and got a new person from the office who immediately helped answered my question concerning the prescription. If I wouldnt have hung up from waiting and called, who knows how long I would have been on hold. Dont choose Brident!!!!

I hope Im not writing this review too early because my service is not done but Ive been wanting to do it since day one. I really like this place! Ive had my braces now for over a year. I rarely have to wait longer than 10 minutes sometimes less for my appts. They are very quick and to the point. Dr. Grace is my ortho she is always really sweet and like I said, quick and to the point. Always does a good job letting me know whats going on. I just recently met Dr. Kim for a teeth cleaning. Hes their new dentist, which I liked the other one as well but i have to say he was SO personable. I really liked him. He genuinely seemed to care about me and other patients and the employees from what I observed. Long story short I have been going there regularly for 15 months and have only had good experiences. All the staff is kind, and knowledgable. I am very satisfied so far and trust the Drs. I dont know whats with all the 1 star complaints but it seems mostly like insurance and other problems aside from the actual establishment.. But if you are like me and dont have insurance and are looking for a good place to get what you need taken care of, they will do the job quickly and efficiently.
