Horrible, horrible. They never answer the phones. Receptionist is rude(Except Melanie, she is phenomenal). Had me on hold for 15 minutes! Unacceptable. Nurses never available! Rude to my mom who has been going there for rehab. Never again! Horrible horrible. Honestly why work there if you have no patience? If your not happy there then leave! In this enviorment you have to be patient and love what you do to help patients in there recovery. I have called 10 times and all ten times the lady who answers says hold and just transfers. Horrible horrible experience thus far!!! My mom had a medical emergency while there and they ignored her for at least an hour and a half. And were very rude when I called in to see what was going on and why were they ignoring my mom. Some lady came on the phone asking me to get of her line. They took for ever to address and help my mother out. They think they will get away with what they do and there neglect help. Honestly and seriously why are they there? I had to personally call the ambulance to come to the facility and help my mother. This unacceptable. Horrible horrible experience. Also Crystal is the nurse in charge who is completely rude!!! She should be fired!!!! All I was calling was for a simple question to ask for the number for my moms transportation that was set up. And her answer was your mom should have it and she should have called to inform us that she was done. This was the lady straw!!!! First of clearly she does not know what she is talking about and who her patients are, my mom is blind and she can not dial out other then the speed dial contacts she has. Clearly these people take advantage of patients with disabbelities and they think they can do that with my mom, honestly imagine about the patients that dont have anyone to go too and complain. Honestly horrible horrible. And i am currently working in getting my mom out of there.

This place is a terrible setting for elders being placed in rehabilitation! WRONG MEDICATIONS WERE GIVEN. Nurses and assistants would sign off on medical papers that they gave my grandparents their medications when they DID NOT. My grandmother had to ask several times for them to finally administer her pain medications. So disappointing! We had to complain so many times to the people running this place, and yet there were no changes at all! Its clear from the previous reviews that this place has been a poor choice for those staying at this place. TERRIBLE discharge procedures- my grandfather had waited 6 hours at the nursing home, and put him in a wheelchair WITHOUT HIS BACKBRACE (issued by doctors orders because he fractured his spine). The driver got "lost for 2 hours" trying to transport him to our home which was only three miles away, all while never having his backbrace on, along with my grandfather shivering from the cold, and with only one shoe and sock on! I am not exaggerating. Most of the assistants cannot understand some English, and therefore that leads to many miscommunications that should not be present in the medical field. THEY NEVER REPLIED TO COMPLAINTS. This place needs to have some serious issues corrected because what they are doing is completely unethical and NOT caring at all. It is appalling to see what this "care facility" is actually doing to our loved ones, and legal actions will be taken.

This is a terrible rehab elder facility. Almost every single nurse/ assistant do not speak english. My poor grandmother has had to come to this place 3 times now, its poorly kept very dirty. My grandmother got an infection from them cleaning her knee replacement wound the wrong way. She's had to wait 6 hours to get her bandage changed. My grandmother has told them several times she has a bladder issue and when she hits the call button they never come they ignore her are very rude and slam things around anywhere. We watched the cleaning lady as she clean the 2nd bed and she didn't even change the sheets from the last person. This place is terrible DON'T EVER COME TO THIS PLACE, WARN ALL ELDERS MANOR CARE IS NOT THE WAY TO GO!!!!

My mom was in the "Garden Wing" at Manor Care and she received expert care on every level. She was completely bedridden and my sister and I were there continually to offer support. We witnessed first hand the attentiveness and expertise offered in helping mom rehabilitate from a bad fall in December. The Doctor, Nurses, CNAs and Technicians were always appraised of moms progress and the facility was well maintained and even the food was palatable. I am saddened by the reviews below since that was NOT our experience. I highly recommend Manor Care for rehabilitation especially of the elderly. The PT and OT staff are also to be praised for their hard work with what must be a fragile population when working with the elderly.

My Dad has only been at Manor Care for 4 days and so far it has been AWFUL!!!! Nurses do not come when you press the call button. The food is awful!!! My sister bought him a clock and a can of mixed nuts and while he was sleeping last night someone stole them!!! What kind of place is this????? He is in there for rehab and he also has an infection in his arm that the Dr told them to put an antibiotic cream that she prescribed for him ad guess what no one did!!! I heard they are short handed , so maybe they need to Hire some temp nurses that care about people till they can get some decent help. We will be taking him out of that place!!!!

My grandma is here for a few weeks and I dont like it. Some of the staff are not very nice and are super lazy. They dont really care about wat they served to their patients and most of them dont really do any work. But there are some very nice people there who do care about the patients and their needs. But over all i dont like it. And Im only a teenager and have a bad oppinon about this place. Sometimes the staff will say "I will be right back" and I never see them again. They told my grandma they didnt have any more walkers, but upstairs there was a closet full of walkers.

My cousin was put here after a vertical complex surgery for rehabilitation. This is "NOT" a rehabilitation center its a " Nursing Home ". The nurses are the absolutely the worse. They dont respond to call buttons for 20-45 mintues and thats on a good day. The nurse will say "I will be back" and never to be seen again. The techs and nurse have I dont care attitude, although, thats not all of them just the ones weve been dealing with. My cousin has not been in a shower or even a hand towell wipe down. Thank twice before considering this facility for a loved one.

I was very apprehensive about placing my mom at this facility after her complicated hospital stay. Her medical needs were complex and required highly skilled oversight. The staff at FairOaks were caring, compassionate and competent. Their communication was open & timely. The care she received was excellent. My Mom healed in a caring environment. We would recommend this facility to anyone needing rehabilitation. Thank God for the Angels at ManorCare Fair Oaks!
