Need a better protocol for sick children in need of medication change. Dr Miller and Dr Walker are the best Dr’s here. The others not so much! I left this practice because it was not convenient to bring my child in 3 times usually to the office 20 miles away when they just needed to do a medicine change. They thought it may be viral at first but I as his Mother new best. Generally Mothers do know their kids he is number 4 of 5 with the oldest being 36. I am good a trying to be preventative..they have a wait and see attitude.... I was given a round of z Pac the 2nd visit by Dr Miller but it was not strong enough and within 2 days of being off he was sick again so I called and requested a new round or something different. I was told by office staff that I would have to bring him in and this would have been the 3rd time. I lost trust and chose to carry him to a Dr in Julington Creek because frankly I disagree with multiple trips for something that should be treated during your first visit. I am glad I went to a new Dr because I was informed my son had developed bronchitis and needed to be put on 875 mg 2 times a day with breathing treatments every 4 to 6 hours. I knew that he was sick and in need of care when I first went to Bartrum beaches and saw a Dr Oles over 2 weeks ago but she blew it off and said wait and see. I am sorry to say it but I think Dr Walker and Dr Miller are the only ones I would consider reasonably good at this office. If you can not see them it is a waste of time.

I can not say enough about Beaches Pediatrics. We have been going to Beaches since moving to Florida, 6 years ago. Ill start with Julie, the office manager. She is incredible. My oldest son has Autism and Julie has gone to bat for me so many times to make sure his medical needs were met with the insurance companies. When you walk in the door, they know you and great your kids by name. First impressions are important and they deliver. If she ever leaves, Ill be devastated! I also have to brag on the doctors at Beaches Pediatrics. Dr. Cooper is extremely knowledgable, especially in regards to my sons special needs. Even with my "typical" children, she has gone the extra mile, even calling me the day after some particularly scary visits, just to check and see how my kids were doing. (No doctors do THAT anymore!) Dr. Cooper will not sugar coat things for you. I absolutely love and appreciate that about her. That said, the doctors do take the time to listen to your concerns as a parent and take your parenting instincts into account. If you are looking for a pediatrician who is up to date on the latest medical information, loves your kids, and takes the time to hear you for the important things, this is the right place!

Dr. Walker is great and I hope she starts her own practice soon. Comments below do not pertain to her. Otherwise - Dr Cooper and Dr Oles are hypochondriac fear mongers who want to run up your bill with visits for symptomless conditions. My son was told he had a potential heart murmur when born and then needed "physical therapy" for his neck at 6 months. Now, my new born daughters weight loss post birth was on the low end just outside of the 10% range and rather than having us first consult with their lactation specialist my wife was told next steps was the NICU for a 8.2 oz perfectly healthy otherwise baby girl. No cosiderstion given to other variables that would affect her weight. Dr Oles bed side manner is non existent and when I asked about the above incident at the follow up visit she ran out of the room with her head down. Also, Dr Cooper would bring her dog for the day wIthout regard to potential allergies. We are switching providers and wish everyone to think twice before using.

Dissatisfied - chose a different doctor. The office is small and appears to lack standard equipment (no sinks in rooms for dr. to wash hands, very little visible medical equipment). There is no place for a patient to dispose of a dirty diaper (sign above trash can prohibits disposing of diapers). We took our son to this office for a few months when we first moved to the area. We were never seen by a doctor. Our appointments were scheduled with the nurse practitioner. We found her to be condescending and felt she lacked the thoroughness and the degree of genuine interest and concern our son received from his prior pediatrician. Also, this practice does not offer evening or weekend hours and does not have a nurse triage line or on call doctors.

My kid has been afraid of shots his whole life and here at Beaches Pediatrics they did an awesome job with him, he did 2 shots same day! Also, Dr. Oles is excellent! I felt she care a lot for my son and took good care of us, she did not forget about what we talked in our last appointment, that means a lot to me. This is my first Pediatric experience in the USA and it was great! Thanks to all the friendly staff, you guys are amazing!

Caring stuff, excellent doctors. Both Dr. Webster and Dr. Cooper are very good with babies and always pay attention to even slightest fear or concern a new mom might have. Their office is nice and clean too. The wait time is not always perfect but I understand its because the doctor gives every patient the amount of time they need. I want that for my baby, as I am sure every mommy does for her child.

I grew up in a small town and my kids have went to the same pediatrician since my 12 year old was born, so moving and getting a new doctor was scary, but coming to this practice has been a blessing so far ! The staff was so pleasant and welcoming ! & Dr. Oles was straight to the point and got us in and out ! Was a great first visit, I look forward to brining my children here
