After finally making the difficult decision to have my 17 year old cat, Annie, put to sleep, the experience was horrible. Its very difficult to wait in the examining room for 25 minutes when youre waiting to put a pet to sleep. When preparing to give her the injection, Im not sure what the problem was, but she began to struggle. Then the vet had to shave a place which gave her more anxiety. To have your pet bite you before being put to sleep was traumatizing. To have her meowing until the medicine took affect was heartbreaking. This was a female vet that Ive never seen here before, and I must say Ive always been happy with the care before this, but I will never go back.

This place is compassionate toward all of my fur babies. They have treated everything from my St Bernard Willys staph infection to congestion in my little baby kitten....and everything in between. They have also been there for me emotionally when I had to put one of my babies down. I wont go to any other vet, this place is everything I am looking for. The staff is knowledgeable, kind, and polite. The doctors are amazing. And the facilities are always clean! I highly recommend Akron Barberton Vet!

Brought my cat for her first checkup and my first visit here as well. The staff, from the assistants to the vet (Dr. R.), were all very kind and genuine. I also appreciated that I was seen quickly, even as a walk-in. They were up-front about pricing and fair. The vet also mentioned a story about his own cats and it was nice that he was so personable and I could tell he and his assistants really do care about animals. I felt very comfortable bringing my kitty here! Thank you guys!

This is the best place to take your babies! Dr.R and the staff are great and they actually do care about animals ... Which seems hard to find nowadays ... They do the very best they can in any situation and i wouldnt ever take my dogs or cat anywhere else! I tell everyone about this clinic bc its refreshing to know there is one that still exsists with true animal lovers

I brought Kane in not knowing, and very fearful of what the outcome was going to be. Dr Greg R And his tech Kayla were absolutely amazing..I will never go anywhere else..Thank you guys so much!! He was literally on point with when he would start feeling better. Kane is back to his normal self and thanks you too!!!

The vet suggested we declaw my cats rear paws and also have her canine teeth removed because shes an aggressive cat. (We then took her to a vet in Orville and they were able to draw blood from our cat without sedation and with no problems.) I would not recommend this place to anyone who loves their animals.

Love this place andj especially Dr Terrehay. I have taken my pets here at least 16 years and there have been many past vets there that i used and they were all great as well. I just have my favorites. Tech team and desk people r great as well. This is Debbie Wilkinson, not David but he agrees

Reasonable priceing, clean, friendly careing staff. Wish they had some Saturday hours. But I like the walk in appointments. Never feel like they are rushing me & one of my 9 kitty babys through. Been to vets all over this area. But this one I cant find much falt with.

You never find a more loving and place to take ur pets.they are so friendly.my family as been with them for 39yrs that I no of , and we never take our pets anywhere esle. Not to mention there prices r cheaper than anywhere else.
