Brought my 2 year old German Shepherd to Skip Hightman as a last resort after all other vets recommended expensive surgery or euthanasia. He treated her with a western/holistic med, acupuncture combo for 9 years and she was pain free her entire life. She died peacefully at age 11. When she died, all of the staff consoled me and I received sympathy cards in the mail. If you are looking for a cheap vet, this is not it. If youre looking for the best care, it does not get any better. I highly, highly recommend this vet.

Dr. Hightman and staff do a great job at this clinic, which is not in the best area of town. I drive there from the beach for my dog who Skip has been wonderful to. We value his opinion and veterinary expertise. I have met several others who trust this vet completely and drive quite a distance for their animals to receive acupuncture as well as other treatments. The clinic is not fancy, but the doctor is great!

Our pug was attacked by another dog. Dr Hightman and his staff were very professional and explained all that was necessary and the different options for treatment. Dr Hightman was honest and did not recommend treatment that was not required. The care received was worth much more than they charged. Compassionate, Fair and Honest would sum up my review of this business.

Such an amazing staff who truly care. Thank you to Dr. Philip C. Hightman for being there. There is no way I would have been able to deal with the loss of Abby with another Doctor. This is the animal hospital that wanted to help and had talked to my wife and I enough to where we knew, without them saying anything, that it was time let Abby go. I love these people.

First of all my Big Pappi loves the Doctors and staff because he knows exactly where to go and goes willing, and they send my owners home happy because all of their questions are answered. Doesnt get any better than that! Also those in the waiting room are always ready to engage in conversation, and their furry family are so exciting to talk too.

All of the ladies were the best! Front desk,vet assistant, and the vet. They werent just trying to sell me a lot of stuff like other vets. They spent time educating me on pros and cons of different treatments. These are people i can trust. Most of all my German Shepherd liked them too.

Dr Hightman and his staff are extremely knowledgable and competent. A few years ago, my 10 year old Pit Bull had terrible cancer and I freaked out when there were complications after surgery. They handled things professionally and my dog lived almost a full year post op.

I agree 100% that the doc is fantastic but the staff is rude and seem very uncaring. I would still recommend the clinic soley for the care and compassion you get from the doc and how you and your pet are treated.

Exceptionally great staff! They care deeply for the health and welfare of all animals. I highly recommend them. I live in Southside and it doesnt take but minutes to get there!

Dr. Hightman is nice and will go over everthing with you. His staff on the other hand is VERY rude. I do not recommend Brentwood Animal Clinic due to the rude staff.
