I wish there was a NO STAR rating , we had a awful experience with our chiuhauha , and like most people we treat our fur babbies like our own kids .so if they get hurt it hurts us , anyways we walk in and we are sent to a room right away . Cool yes no waiting . My chiuhauhas eye is bleeding , theres blood driping down her eye , my 3 pound baby is in pain . A staff comes in takes her in the back . Mean while im sitting there waiting in tears , waiting , so i filled out the paper work left it sitting on the exam table , my main piority is my pup at this point , so the vet walks in loud and rude speaking fast telling me what i already knew , her bleeding eye not sure if it can be saved , not sure where the damage is or whats going on , i was un able to get a word in. He told me before i spoke any futher to you , you need to fill out the paper work , i said i did . Well good he said now take it to the front desk , i said i will now tell me about my dog , im left with no answers im dealing with a vet that cares about me turning in paper work before he talks more to me , he stops me in mid sentence saying with his finger pointed up words as if he is saying shut up . He says turn your paper in so i can know who im talking to , and ill be back i have to bounce from room to room and walked out , left us in silence , a tec brought my dog , so Holding my dog that had a iv of morphine which was the only nice thing he did for her , her eye still bleeding , he comes back in after the 30 min to say that her eye may or may not be saved. He is not touching it and we dont need to touch it either , and i need to see a eye specialist , and there expencive , . 216.00 bucks for that ! , and So he sent us home with antibotic and a pain pill , that we picked up from a walmart pharmacy , a day and half we watch our dog with this dry old blood. Still driping out , Wiping her eye , giving her meds watching her extra close so now we take her to a diffrent vet for a check up . THEY CLEANED HER EYE gave her antibotic drops made her and us feel comphy , i will never go there i dont think any one needs to go there if you love your animals. You will never go there. Oh and i also forgot to mention this on the bottom of there discharge paper work it states dr plans . One said the dr offered hospital stay , blood and owner declined brian sessink offered NOTHING But sending us away to get a check up els where . Im calling the main boss and beyond if i need to . To let them know excatly how there staff treats others Its terrible that a vet treats his costomers this way , the tecs great the dr needs alot of people skills. Ill never return ,

We took our boxer to VCA last Saturday. I would be giving this visit a rating of 5 stars if it weren’t for Dr. Brian. Our boxer had collapsed and was unresponsive. They took him back as soon as we got there. We filled out all the paperwork. I know our dog was taken into ICU, it would probably be a bit of a wait, while they looked him over. We were moved to a room. Dr. Brian came in and asked us questions about our dog and his day. We gave him all the details. He then says to us, “You seem like nice people, but what you are telling me doesn’t add up, to how sick your dog is.” “he looks like he has been hit by a truck!” We are already very worried and upset for our 4 legged family member, but, to be accused of mistreating our animal, was COMPLETELY, uncalled for. People who would do terrible things to an animal, wouldn’t go to the emergency vet. We decided to do blood work. We waited for those results to come back. Again, had the opportunity to get feedback from Dr. Brian. He informed us, he has 21 yrs of experience and he has NEVER seen anything like this. We took the next step and did an xray. We waited for those results. Dr. Brian came back and told us it was clear. So, we left our dog so he could get treatment. We were able to go back and visit him before we left. I can’t remember the woman’s name, who was with Knuckles. But, I do want to thank her for being so kind to us and Knuckles. I don’t know how, someone could do that job. The next morning, we get a call from a different vet. She informed us that she had looked at the xray and saw some abnormalities. She had done a 2nd xray and found that Knuckles had a blockage in his intestine. Yes, she looked at the same xray, Dr. Brian had. She went over our options without judgement, or accusation. We decided to put Knuckles to sleep. They had a special room where we could spend sometime with him. They were so great. Knuckles isn’t suffering anymore, his pain is gone. I know ours will be too, as the days go on. But, the pain of having a vet accuse you of doing something terrible to our pet. That pain will be here for quite a while. If my other dog ever has an emergency, I will most likely call to make sure Dr. Brian is not the vet on that shift.

There is no love for pets here. Its all ABOUT TAKING YOUR MONEY! They dont listen to you, they con you into believing your pet needs all these over priced tests ran in order to give you a proper diagnosis. I came to them due to my doxie having stopped eating, drinking, crying when trying to walk on her right leg, worried sick, all they were concerned about was getting that paperwork done in order to show me their 653.00 cost. After all was said and done, she tells me my dogs liver looked to be enlarged but couldnt give me a reason why however, if I wanted to pay more money they could do further testing. That was it. WHAT ABOUT MY DOGS LEG? NO ANSWER, she gave me numerous potential reasons why my little pups leg was collapsing, folding under making her fall over, yet they did no xray of my dogs leg, that was initial reason for our visit, her leg, her pain. Yet they saw an opportunity to fill us with fear suggesting unecessary test to meet their quota. When I ask if they could give her something for her pain right then beause after the 653.00 I had no money until next Friday when I got paid and could go to the reg vet, she said yes. We then waited another 15 min only to have a tech print me out a new bill which was ,now $915.71, really? 4 different medications that I would have to pay even more for. I couldnt believe it. Are you freaking kidding me. It took everything within me not to crawl over that counter. They got me for nearly $700, my pup given nothing for the pain shes now had going on 4 days, no xray of her leg. Nothing I ask for or what my poor dog needed. They did Absolutely nothing for my dog. No explanation for not eating for 3 days, her actions were shocking, how do they sleep at night. I have never seen this type of behavior from those who call themselves animal doctors, I think not.. You take advantage of unsuspecting animal lovers to line your pockets with no regard for the animal. One would hope that out of 653.00 bucks you could have given my dog something for her pain. You are the worst of the worst. Get outta, town. We dont need your type here. We need people who want to help our pets not steal our money. I regret ever meeting you and I hope your business fails. Quickly!
