My daughter, whom is in AZ visiting before leaving to go to S Korea, recommended this vet office to me to get my french bulldogs teeth cleaned. I went online and found a free initial visit coupon and downloaded it for my initial visit to get established. I was advised to check in 15 minutes early to fill out new client paperwork. When my daughter and I arrived no one was in the office to greet us so we sat down and waited for a little bit and then my daughter saw the new client paperwork sitting on the counter so I filled it out. When the vet tech, Wesley, finally appeared she ushered us into a room, she didnt stop to weigh my pet which I thought is usually customary. After a couple of minutes Wesley appeared in the room again and stated we could not use the coupon because it was one per household and because my daughter had just recently, one week before, brought her dog there I couldnt use the coupon and the fee would be $63. I explained to Wesley that my daughter doesnt live with me she just used my address because she lives out of state (and she didnt use a coupon on her visit), they are in the military and are on there way to Korea. Wesleys tone became very nasty and she stated that it clearly states all over the coupon that we couldnt use! She then turned around abruptly and practically ran to the MDs office and I heard her telling that person that I didnt want to pay the $63. For starters I never said I didnt want to pay the cost of a visit she didnt give me the opportunity to answer before she got nasty and stormed off! So we had no option but to get up and leave! I guess the message I got loud and clear is that they dont want to honor their free coupon visit. Dont waste your time. My daughter has already wasted hundreds of dollars on this vets office.

The most horrible and money hungry awful people in the world. The receptionist flat told me that the paper for the payment was more important than the one describing my animal. You walk in and it says "our number 1 priority is your pets health" thats b.s. because they couldve saved my puppy but only if i couldve afforded the $3000 to even START the surgery. So my lil guy was in pain for God knows how long, my little girls were all there begging them to save him and i just do not believe that they couldnt have sent me a bill and made an exception for a single mom of four children that doesnt receive any kind of child support. We cry often about our first puppy. This was the worst experience I have ever had and i hope that they all understand the pain and heartache it has brought to my children and I. My oldest girl (she just turned 12) saw the atrack from the larger dog that broke free from his owner and attacked our 7 week old puppy so she is going to be needing counseling and my younger two are constantly hoping that the vet just saved our puppy and is hoping that he is getting better and will be dropped off soon. I try to tell my littlest that the puppy will not be back but he is with usbin spirit and she doesnt understand. These people are monsters and i would NOT recommend them to anyone ever. They had the remedy and help it in front of us but then took it and threw it away because i didnt have $3000 that day. I mean they wouldnt even start the surgery! Then the vet tried to say "well upon looking at his ct scan, it appears that even if i was to do the surgery the puppy wouldnt make it" blah blah. Lie a little more doctor. Hope you all have a nice life. His life was cut short becaise of greed.

Dr. Monarski saved my dogs life & in turn I owe my life to him for saving hers. When we adopted her, at her first vets appt. her dr. said it appeared that when she was a little pup shed had her left back leg broken in several places and never set. For nearly 9 years (one month short of her birthday) shed compensated by having to over-use her right back leg. Within 3 days she had 2 episodes where her back right leg painfully just gave out. This was totally out of her regular vets ability to heal her and though she was in better than perfect health otherwise, the parents thought she should be "put down." I told them if they did theyd have two funerals to go to b/c she was/is my medical assistance dog. Luckily we were told about VCA and Dr. Monarski who said shed need her tibia re-sculpted for her to ever use it in the future. I have never seen such remarkable compassion in a vet. Between the Dr.s compassion and my financial scrambling we made sure she had the surgery and 2 yrs later youd think she was half her age! This is a remarkable place--a last hope for many, the end of a journey for some, but where else would let you bring in a small piece of KFC b/c your dog hadnt eaten since surgery? (she did after that, lol!) And when she was released she pulled the good doctor down the hall--Im not sure who looked happier! A 24-hr vet better than any human doctor Ive ever seen that handles a multitude of special species as well as cats and dogs. I entrusted my pups life (and in a way, my own) to Dr. Monarski & it was one of the best experiences *ever*! Theyll love and care for your little one as well as you would yourself! Par excellence! ♥

Dr. Moffat is by far the best veterinarian I have ever had take care of my furbabies. I have 2 dogs and 5 cats. Not only is she a great vet she is also a licensed behaviorist which is how we got lucky enough to find her. Our dog lived in a shelter for almost a year and developed pretty severe behavior problems before we fostered him and then eventually adopted him. Dr. Moffat has been a great help to us with him and I have never felt "judged" by her or any of the staff at VCA, I cant say that about my previous vet. All of the staff at VCA are always personable and when I have had emergencies they have always accomodated getting me in quickly. Having a dog with behavior issues can make for very interesting vet visits but Dr. Moffat and the entire staff are always understanding and helpful even though I know those visits are a struggle for all involved. Dr. Moffat makes me feel at home and always takes the time for personal follow ups. She is great at educating and always seems to go the extra mile. You can tell she really cares about her clients. The pricing is reasonable compared to some other places I have used in the past, I never feel pressured to buy anything or to perform any procedures, and I have even paid less than quoted for surgeries which was a very pleasant surprise. I cant say enough good things about Dr. Moffat & Dr. Valez and the entire VCA staff. I actually drive over 30 miles and past dozens of other veterinarians to have my furkids seen by Dr. Moffat.
