Ive always had a little bit of mistrust with vets in Utah but the high ratings here are completely accurate! I have two dogs, Abbey (goldendoodle) and Zeus (toy poodle) - Abbey is very easy-going but Zeus, is a little high-strung.... Hes had a lot of bad experiences with vets that have too quickly gone to muzzle him, poke him, jab him, take him away from me in the back room, etc. Ive found its because theyre all in such a hurry or theyre so arrogant to think that its just "little dog syndrome" and theres nothing you can do- all this ended up doing was making Zeus very defensive and for a long time he had a problem with submissive peeing anywhere there were people. I felt so awful that he was so terrified that I couldnt bring myself to put him through that all the time. Well, one night Zeus starting throwing up a little bit of blood which of course had me worried. I found Pet Medical Center on google, read the views...had kinda tested them out once with my dog Abbey to see what their staff was like...and decided to give it a go for Zeus since he was definitely in need. The staff was awesome and Dr. Weber did what a vet should always do - she made it a good experience for ZEUS. She took her time to reassure him, started the exam with small, easy things and then gave him lots of praise for letting her do those things...he even let her put her fingers in his mouth and I was literally SHOCKED. She took the time to check his knees and answer the MANY questions I had. To have a vet that is confident, kind, honest and patient....is priceless. We will definitely be coming back!

I moved to Utah and needed to find a vet for my 2 year old English Bulldog. I am extremely protective of who I will take my dog to because of the special health issues that bulldogs can face but after talking to friends with an American bulldog and doing some research online we decided to go with Dr. Pew. My dog needed eye surgery for entropion on his lower lids and we got him neutered at the same time. Dr. Pew and his staff did a wonderful job making me feel comfortable and now my dogs eyes are fantastic. Also, the surgery cost me about half of what it would have in Cleveland, where I had moved from, and even after the original quote I was given at the first appointment the total came to less than what they quoted me because they didnt have to do as extensive work on my dogs eyes. I am grateful for their honesty and will use Dr. Pew for the rest of his career.

I can add my recommendation to the list of reviews here - we have been taking our chocolate lab to Pet Medical Center for about two years for vaccinations, checkups, and minor injuries (from a swollen eye to digestive problems). The staff are great with animals and the doctors were just as gentle and friendly with our dog. What impressed me early on, was when we had our dog spayed and she had to stay at the facility for a few days while recovering from surgery. The next time we took her in for a checkup, she was wagging her tail excitedly as we went inside - clearly not scarred by the event! I believe we usually get Dr. Weber to see our dog - she is always great. Im a first-time dog owner and the doctor takes plenty of time helping me understand their observations/diagnoses. I will continue to trust our canine family member to their care.

I set up an appointment for my cat who had been displaying odd symptoms. I originally set my appt for Dr. Pew, but was called back a few days later because Dr. Pew was very concerned about my cat and suggested an earlier day, which meant I wouldnt be able to see him. Him making an extra effort to get a hold of me made me feel like he really cared about my cat. Today i saw Dr. Winters and despite previous reviews I found her to be very nice, professional, and with a genuine love and concern for my cat. She was wonderful and I will definitely be setting up appointments with her in the future. The staff is kind and helpful, the prices are resonable, the vets are fantastic and its obvious they love what they do! My pets will be taken only here for all their medical needs from now on!

I love Pet Medical Center for my dogs medical needs. I really like Dr. Pew the best, but will see Dr. Weber if thats whos avaliable. I really REALLY do not like Dr. Winters at all and will wait weeks if I have to to get a different doctors appointment. ALL of my experiences with Dr. Pew have been positive, and Dr. Weber is wonderful too. I only wish theyd stop recommending Science Diet, and Id be happier. I find their prices to be very reasonable and I am not left sitting in the waiting area for hours after my appointment time. Dr. Pew and Dr. Weber both treat my animals with care, and seem to genuinely like pets! Imagine that! I also love that their clinic offers health testing for breeding stock, which is quite convenient.

We have looked for a good vet for many years. I have been to some terrible and heartless vets in the past and have been hesitant to try again. I did a google search and talked to some people, and they seemed to recommend Pet Medical Center. I had an appointment there today with my Miniature Schnauzer and had a great experience. The doctors were very knowledgeable and very nice to me and my pet. They worked fast and did not leave us waiting. There prices were amazing and well worth the service that we got. I am glad to say that I finally have found a permanent vet clinic and will be returning with all of my pets needs. Thanks again for everything and finally giving me someone to trust with my best friend.

Have been going there for going on 15yrs now and would take them no where else.....even over the years as doctors have come and gone, they have all had one common thread, and that is a true concern for the animals well being. Unlike many other clinics, the fiscal matters take a back seat to the animals care. Heck, how many Vets have you heard of that would give you thier home and mobile phone numbers and in essence be on 24 hr. call to ensure the comfort of you pet? This is exactly what they did for me and my Golden Retreiver as she battled cancer. I can never thank them enough for that. Believe me when I say, if you want top rate care and concern for your pets, this is the place!!

Pet Medical Center is in my opinion, the best place in Utah County to take your pet. Ive lived here for 22 years so Ive had experience with several other Veterinarians. Dr. Weber always takes the time to explain the diagnosis and treatment for your pet. She doesnt try to talk you into all the extras (lab, x-rays , procedures) that some Veterinarians do. If your pet does require lab work, she calls to give you results as soon as she gets them. My cats get better care from her than I do from my doctor. The vet techs are knowledgeable and always courteous. She is an awesome Veterinarian !! Thank you Dr. Weber for your caring and kindness.
